I will say though, my assigned nail technician, Cindy, was very lovely and unproblematic. Unlike the other workers, they would try to pressure you and upsale to get services that you never intended to get. Plus, I had a feeling the lady that ran the front desk, her name is Kim, I believe, she made it clear that she disliked me every time I came by for an appointment. Mind you, I came with decency and kindness, because that's how I naturally am as a person, but something told me that she does not really like Black people or people of color; so definitely didn't feel welcomed. Ever since I had the last encounter, last summer, I have not been back. I would definitely think twice about going there, especially considering if you don't feel like being annoyed or antagonized by the employees.

I spent a total of $85 for this horrible pedicure ($70 for VIP + $15 for gel ). The fact that the polish peeled off completely is a sign that their polish is old. I called the salon and asked to speak with a manager. I was told that the manager wasn't there but the female on the phone could help as she was the "acting" manager at the time. She told me that, per their policy, they don't do refunds, they only do "re-do's". Well, that may be fine for some people but 1) I don't live in the area and I needed to get to the airport to fly home to MA. so I didn't have the time to go back and 2) If your product wasn't of good quality the first time, why would I want to waste my time and gas again? I was also told that their policy is clearly posted on the check out counter. That tells me that this sort of thing happens a lot if they felt the need to implement such a policy and "clearly" post it. I requested a call back but did not receive one. I sent an email, waited 2 days for a response and have not received one. I'm shocked this business is still in business! Please do not waste your time, energy and money on these grifters. There are so many other nail salons that won't rip you off then hide behind a ridiculous policy. I will also be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau, amongst other sites as an informative warning to others. This business does not even deserve the one star I was forced to give in order to post this review.

If you're ever not satisfied with a nail design, speak up, she will absolutely fix it. Y'all have to understand everyone has different expectations, different preferences, and different nail beds. So showing a picture is best for visual purposes even if it's something simple. A salon tip, ask the nail tech doing your nails if they're capable of doing what you're asking, be specific, and emphasize what you want at the start of service AND during!! Anyone who isn't happy with Jennie's sets likely doesn't know how to clearly describe what they want. I get hard gel to protect and grow my nails out, and all of the nails in the photos are my natural nails. Jennie suggested I switch from square nails to almond due to the direction my nails grow and I LOVE it. I saw the difference it made in maintaining my natural nails. Thank you, Jennie!!

My granddaughter, who just turned nine, was with me for a birthday treat and I didn't want to ruin her special day so I didn't say anything. They didn't use a base coat, sprayed scalding hot water on my shin, and I definitely wouldn't call the light pressured touching a massage. This pic is four days later.
