    Salmon ceviche

My boyfriend's on business and Schenectady so we need a place for dinner across the street with ember Court. We actually remembered a good friend of ours telling us about this wonderful place that his buddy renowned chef owned with his lovely wife gave him a call. We went bytruly an amazing experience. Let's start with the location centralized with parking across the street from the Hilton.. the restaurant itself is beautiful large to economy, crowds lovely bar and great to look at. Our waiter was truly a wonderful asset to this business who gave us great recommendations and awesome service. I actually had wine with dinner and wasn't disappointed once refresh and crisp totally complementing my meal a wonderful New Zealand Fanyon Blanc, and a delicious now back from Australia we ordered oysters for raw And a ceviche, which were simply delicious. They are two types of of each on the menu. We try the salmon which was recommended and I can't say we went wrong and the oysters were perfectly fresh and delicious.. my boyfriend ordered the steak with the potatoes gratin it was perfectly cooked. Perfectly delicious. My Bolognese was delicious al dente I had no more room, but my boyfriend did for the sherbet. The raspberry sherbet was completely refreshing so he said I am sad that I didn't get to try their bone marrow, which would've been on my list but with so many options, it was impossible to decide and we need to come back even though we don't live in the area, we will make the drive. This place had everything for complete success great staff perfect food great ambience Parking and a vision for food which you can't say often in the restaurant life thank you for a wonderful evening.

I had a wonderful experience. Rain was my bartender/server. She was attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. I had raw oysters to start. The mini Tabasco sauce bottle was a cute touch. The oysters were cleaned well with a nice sauce. I then had oysters with what I think was a curry sauce. DEVINE. It also came with toasted naan. For my entree I had the lamb with polenta fries. Cooked perfect- tasted great. for dessert I had the basque cheesecake which tasted just like my family's secret recipe. the chef even introduced himself. 10/10 recommend. I also sat at the bar for preference.

The duck with pear and rice. Sorry it's half eaten. It just smelled too good to take a picture of it before I started eating.

Amazing. You will not have anything but a great experience here. I've had the duck, the pork chop, and now the Salmon and the staff does great wine pairings with each dish. They are all knowledgeable and entertaining. If you read this review previously, I obviously didn't spell check it and I apologize to anyone that read that review. It is a GREAT Place to eat.

Absolutely phenomenal!…read more We had high expectations going in and they were significantly exceeded. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the bar area is stunning. The tables are all well spaced and even with the high ceilings, it wasn't overly loud at all. The server and bus people were great and our waters were constantly full and the server spaced the whole experience out perfectly. She was quite pleasant yet professional. The cocktails were some of the best in the area. On par with places like Hamlet and Ghost and Josie's Table. High quality and not something you could easily make yourself at home, even with knowing what you're doing. So tasty and beautifully presented. All of the food was super flavorful and perfectly cooked. We wanted to try a bit of everything and ended up taking quite a few leftovers home. For appetizers we tried the olives, whipped herb ricotta and the cheese croquettes. All of those were amazing! The olives were so well flavored and you get a bunch. The herbed whipped ricotta was fantastic but the star was easily the bread it came with. It was so good! I see why there is an option on the menu for "more bread, please" because it's the best focaccia I've ever had. The cheese croquettes were also great and the truffle cream it's plated on was a wonderful touch. For our dinners we tried the chicken, za'atar fries, hummus and the four cheese flatbread. Easily the greatest flatbread I've had. It was beautifully presented and such a fun way to do a flatbread! The chicken was amazing, very flavorful, juicy and gorgeously plated. The delicious amba yogurt complimented the flavors of the chicken so well. The hummus was so fresh and the pita it comes with is always so good. The fries were delicious and the truffle aioli it came with was a perfect dipping option. We can't stop talking about how good it was and can't wait to return!

All the bartenders have been super friendly and have given great service during my exchanges. 2. the craft cocktail menu seems to be a hit! The bar has been filled with fancy looking drinks the first two times I visited, leading me to choose my own fancy cocktail during visit #3 - the Jumanji, a rum based fruity drink that hit the spot. 3. I love, love, LOVE that we have found a new music venue for local tunes several nights of the week. I've seen one new-to-me artist and came back another night when a band I've seen before was visiting. Both nights had good sound, great lighting, and people dancing in the building. My kinda night! 4. the vibes are chill enough to not feel stuffy and updated enough to feel like you are in a trendy spot with the cool kids 5. haven't visited when it isn't chilly, yet, but I am STOKED to spend time on the outdoor back patio, after taking a look during my last visit. So much seating and space for porch beers. 6. the Simone's connection make the food avaialble a YES, PLEASE
