Amazing!! Came here for a drink and it didn't disappoint! The ambience is amazing and they offered a unique experience of drinking beer or wine from a dispenser you would handle on your own. You'd pay for a card that would be linked to a credit card and get drinks. The wait staff here were also very friendly!

Absolutely fantastic! A friend recommended this spot, and knowing my taste, they knew I had to check it out--and they were spot on. I brought my cousin here for his birthday while I was in town. We parked on the street; it was chilly outside, but inside, the warmth and vibe were incredible. We were both first-timers, and the service, atmosphere, and food exceeded all expectations. I was genuinely blown away--from the freshness of the dishes to the thoughtful details of the restaurant. I can't wait for our next visit, especially for a romantic date night--it's undeniably sexy. I'm eager to try the outdoor seating and soak in the ambiance!

I am obsessed with the Shaker & Vine. It is one of my favorite places in the 518. They have the most creative and phenomenal drinks to choose from plus who doesn't love a giant charcuterie board and cheese fondue? The chocolate chip cookie dough cake is a plus. The waiters and waitresses are also so much fun. The whole place is just a vibe.

Such a fun spot for a girls' night out! The atmosphere is perfect--and kid-free--which makes it even better. I loved the snack and drink options, especially the non-alcoholic espresso martini. Shaker and Vine has a way of making anyone feel a little fancy. Their salads are huge, so definitely try one. Next time, I'm going back for the fondue and chocolate dip! They also currently have 12 days of Christmas holiday drinks which new specials each week.

I just want to hop in to refresh my review. This place is a great spot. You can go in casual clothes but still feel like you're having a slightly elevated experience bc of the setting. It's a nicely designed space, bathrooms are so clean, and the patio is so fun. The most important part is that the food is excellent. Tastes so fresh and flavorful, everything I've had has been great. Cocktails are also made artfully and the beer selection is good. The wine self serve part is cool, but not my thing. I appreciate that it is there, though!

Enjoyed my evening out here in this classy and trendy wine bar with ample seating, booths, and a cool area with inside fire pits that offered great ambience. My friend had made the reservations and we were seated right away. It was my first time here and I was delighted to have a very detailed explanation of the wine bar from the wine director - she was great! There are walls of wine where you can select 1 ounce, 3 ounce, and 5 ounce pours to find wine you like. What a cool concept! I found an excellent Rioja right off the bat and stuck with it! My friend was able to try multiple wines that he enjoyed. Our server was friendly and came to check on us occasionally even though the night was very, very busy. We had the charcuterie board, an amazing fig flatbread and my friend also ordered the meatballs, which looked good but I didn't have a chance to try them. They let us linger without being intrusive and overall I really enjoyed my evening.

We had a WONDERFUL nice at The Shaker & Vine! The atmosphere was fantastic. The waitress was so good and friendly. We all ordered a fun drink and they were all really great! The food was amazing! My favorite was the buffalo chicken dip for sure. We were thinking the chipotle chicken flatbread would have a little kick to it but it didn't.. it would have probably been 10 times better if it did but it was still super yummy! We also got the chocolate fondue! I sadly didn't get a picture of it but we got the small and it was enough to even share with others! Good portion sizes for sure! I will definitely be returning.

Went to Shaker & Vine for my birthday this past fall. I've heard good things about their menu items and the overall atmosphere. I booked one of the fireplaces for a group of around 9 of us. Service throughout the night was phenomenal. Servers were kind and attentative. Everything we ordered tasted great and the prices were reasonable. I don't drink so I got a mocktail which was made very well. My friends all enjoyed their drinks of choice. I also brought in my birthday cake and they cut and served it to us at the end of the night. We parked right across the restaurant at the garage. Definitely want to go back again with a smaller group.

Shaker & Vine is simply amazing, it's such a unique experience with the wine wall vending machines. This is my favorite date night location, and offers such a cozy atmosphere. There are so many seating options available, it's perfect for groups or just couples. The food and drinks are fantastic. I especially appreciate that they update the cocktail menu frequently. My current favorite menu item is the burrata salad.

My fiance and I came on a Wednesday evening and it was still so busy! (Good for them) Make sure you make a reservation to ensure the best experience as we did. I noted in our reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary and upon sitting at our table we were gifted a glass of rose. Our server was kind and attentive and he was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. For drinks my fiance had a whiskey flight and espresso martini , he said they were 10/10! I myself had an apple martini and with dessert a jolly rancher shooter both of which were incredible. For food we shared the caprese , buffalo chicken dip and chipotle flat bread. All of which were so fresh and so tasty. We hardly had any wait for our food! We saved room for dessert having the s'mores dip which was simply divine. Overall experience was 100/10. For the 3 apps, dessert, and 6 drinks it was $167 (not including tip) which I think was a great price. We can't wait to go back!

The restaurant is set up to have wonderful conversation with whomever you're with. I went with one of my best friends. We sat outside with a fire next to us. In the colder weather it's covered, dry and warm. We had cozy conversation. Our waitress was fantastic. She didn't interrupt our intense conversation but was incredibly attentive. The food was delicious. The dates and the ravioli flight were shared as well as the chocolate fondue. I can't wait to return to this restaurant!

Celebrated my friend's bday at shaker & vine. Once you're in the gentrified strip of Mohawk valley, you don't even feel like you're in Schenectady with new development apartments, restaurants, and bars. Inside of S&V was like a completely different atmosphere with beautiful typical decor aesthetics, lots of space heaters outside, it's a big restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seatings. My friend made reservations ahead of time. We got there when it opened at 5pm and there's already a few parties waiting to enter. We were seated outside, our waiter was so friendly and attentive. Even introduced us to their wine dispenser for their wine tasting but we weren't in the mood for it that day. We ended up ordering a few cocktails, shots and food from their fall menu. Apparently their menu changes every season, being an adventurous eater I love that restaurant concept of seasonal menus. Trying out new items each time. The reservation time is booked for 1.5hrs, we were there the entire time chatting and eating away. WHAT WE ORDERED Cocktails- Apple cider margarita Shroom service Pumpkin patch Gummy bear shooters Sweet cherry pie shooter Tapas - Beef tenderloin skewers Getting figgy with it flatbread Pull pork sliders Everything was 10/10!! It's on a pricey side and worth it for a special occasion.

Second time here. The ambiance is top notch. They definitely expanded since the last time I've been here. We sat outside. The ambiance is similar to an upscale cocktail lounge in Miami. I love the decor, plants, fire pits, etc. The service was decent, he recommended different items on the menu and cocktails. The fig flatbread was absolutely BOMB! sweet and savory which I laaavvveee. I will be dreaming of this flatbread until I come back lol. We also got the bruschetta which was decent but nothing to rave about. I got a spicy mango passionfruit Marg which was 10/10,delicious. They have a cocktail list and a decent menu. I wasn't 100% impressed by their menu tho because I feel like a lot of the food I can make at home. When I'm paying these kind of prices for food I expect it to be unique and something I can't easily make at home (like the fig flatbread , the unique and fresh ingredients I appreciated). We also got dessert drinks, an espresso martini and chocolate martini. Both decent but I've had better. The kitchen closed early so we couldn't get dessert. Next time! I will definitely be a back.

The tables are all well spaced and even with the high ceilings, it wasn't overly loud at all. The server and bus people were great and our waters were constantly full and the server spaced the whole experience out perfectly. She was quite pleasant yet professional. The cocktails were some of the best in the area. On par with places like Hamlet and Ghost and Josie's Table. High quality and not something you could easily make yourself at home, even with knowing what you're doing. So tasty and beautifully presented. All of the food was super flavorful and perfectly cooked. We wanted to try a bit of everything and ended up taking quite a few leftovers home. For appetizers we tried the olives, whipped herb ricotta and the cheese croquettes. All of those were amazing! The olives were so well flavored and you get a bunch. The herbed whipped ricotta was fantastic but the star was easily the bread it came with. It was so good! I see why there is an option on the menu for "more bread, please" because it's the best focaccia I've ever had. The cheese croquettes were also great and the truffle cream it's plated on was a wonderful touch. For our dinners we tried the chicken, za'atar fries, hummus and the four cheese flatbread. Easily the greatest flatbread I've had. It was beautifully presented and such a fun way to do a flatbread! The chicken was amazing, very flavorful, juicy and gorgeously plated. The delicious amba yogurt complimented the flavors of the chicken so well. The hummus was so fresh and the pita it comes with is always so good. The fries were delicious and the truffle aioli it came with was a perfect dipping option. We can't stop talking about how good it was and can't wait to return!

The bar tender, Noah, was impressive and friendly in that he knew his liquor stock very well, and could explain the flavor intricacies of the various types of bourbon, vodka, and gins. They also offer some non,-alcoholic beverages for the "designated driver" of the group too. We watched Noah make everything from regular and "dirty martinis" with fresh ingredients, as well as one drink where he used a butane lighter and some tiny cedar chips in a straining tool above the drink to give it a fresh, authentic smoky look and flavor. Noah knows his stuff!!!!! The patrons were friendly, diverse, and easy to socialize with if you chose to do so. Keep in mind that this establishment is a "tasting room" with the majority of products from the New Scotland Distillery, but there are other options. Just don't expect to get a Bud Light Draft or food here. The only downside is that parking in the Lark Steet and State Street location is difficult to obtain without some effort, but we managed to park our vehicles 2 blocks away. This is not a direct criticism of the establishment because the experience is well worth this minor potential inconvenience. We would definitely go back there again, especially for the specialty drinks or the flights and half flights of their bourbon and vodka products. The menu reads exciting and includes a lot of fun and modern ingredients, the space is bright and inviting and we had great service. The cocktail menu was small and uninspired, but we enjoyed a few cocktails. My favorite of the night was a dirty martini with house stuffed blue cheese olives. Their aviation inspired cocktail called Flight 99 was okay, but left me wanting an aviation. We decided to get a few appetizers the share over some cocktails and didn't order any entrees. We started with the Shrimp Ceviche and the Foie Gras Torchon. Both plates arrived and the presentation left a lot to be desired. The shrimp ceviche was good but the baby corn and sweet potato were weird. It didn't belong at all. I don't know if it is traditional or what but it just took up space, made the presentation uninviting and added nothing to the dish. The chips were great though and the shrimp were large and of great quality. The Foie gras torchon was like a chilled pate, it was alright. 4 tiny slices of toast was not enough for the plate, the green strawberry compote was a good pairing, the dressed greens were fine but again, didn't add much to the dish. We heard the special of soft shell crab and wanted to order it. For the second round, we ordered the bone marrow and soft shell crab. The bone marrow was maybe 3 bites, the bones were very dry and didn't have much marrow to scrape so that was disappointing. The soft shell crab was a large portion and was very good and treat to have during the season. However, it was $65. Maybe our fault for not asking but that price is obscene for that dish. It was soft shell crab over spinach. We were pretty full and ended the meal with bread pudding which was fine. Our bill before tip was $280 for 4 appetizers, 6 cocktails and a dessert. I was sticker shocked. I really regret not asking the price on the soft shell crab. The food did not live up to the hype at all and I don't think I would return based on the quality and prices.

The Hostess was SUPER friendly and she never stopped working - cleaning tables and checking with guests to be sure everything was satisfactory. The waiter, Gregg, was very attentive and friendly. He did a great job The food was terrific! I ordered Pasta Bolognese and it was absolutely the best I have ever had. Magnificent sauce. My wife ordered "street tacos" and they were great. stuffed with wonderful ingredients - including shrimp. This trip as a perfect experience and we shall return. (sorry the pasta photo is not great. It looked so good I ate quite a bit before I remembered to take a photo)

I've been to Innovo Kitchen in Latham several times over the years and I've enjoyed it every time. They have a unique menu that changes periodically, but I always find something that catches my eye. The interior has an industrial feel which I like, with a lot of exposed brick. The tables are made from old bowling lane wood, which is a really cool touch. When you walk in there is also a bowling pin displayed in a glass case. I remember there being a bowling alley somewhere in that plaza when I was a kid, so it seems likely the building has some history tied to that. The tables are also nice and large, which makes the dining experience more comfortable. Tonight I ordered the Monte Cristo burger which is described as battered Buckley's Bread sourdough, a 6 oz special grind burger, Taylor pork roll, Swiss, and Twin Leaf Farms maple aioli. It was quite tasty and I really enjoyed the hint of maple syrup flavor on the burger. The crinkle cut fries that came with it were also very good. Another person in our party ordered the White Chicken Parmesan, described as a crisp chicken cutlet topped with ricotta and garlic spinach and fresh mozzarella, with garlic parmesan cream and lumache pasta. They said it was delicious. Someone else had the Crispy Skin Salmon and enjoyed that as well. A child at our table ordered macaroni with red sauce. The portion was surprisingly large and they liked it, which is impressive because they are particularly finicky. For dessert we ordered something we've had here several times before, the peanut butter mud pie. It's basically ice cream in pie form with an Oreo cookie crust and chocolate fudge. It's very tasty and also a generous portion. At the end of your meal they also offer everyone at the table a tasty piece of gourmet chocolate. One thing that really stood out tonight was the attentiveness of the management. Two different managers stopped by our table at different times to check and make sure everything was good. I recognized one of them because I've seen him there before and he always seems to make a point of checking in with guests. The other person had seated us so I initially thought she was the hostess, but after she stopped by during the meal I asked if she was a manager and she confirmed that she was. I mentioned that I was impressed that two different managers had checked on us, and that every time I've dined there a manager has stopped by to make sure everything was good. I thanked her and told her it was appreciated. During the summer and fall they also have a very nice patio area for outdoor dining. On cooler nights they have heaters and a fireplace which makes it a great place to sit outside. I will definitely return here again in the future. 5 stars
