    Salmon and house rice
    Felicia F.

We came for lunch and were immediately seated. We all ordered waters to drink and after they arrived, we waited. We waited so long, I had to ask the bartender if he could take our order. While he was taking the order the waiter who was supposed to be serving the table nodded his he at him and continued to talked at the other table. I ordered the salmon and asked that it not be seared hard or dark on either side and be medium well. It was seared hard and under cooked. The rice had a burnt taste. Our original waiter never came to refill our drinks, until we asked. Not one ice cube was in the refill. One guest had to get up and ask for a box. The bartender ended up giving us our bill. Not sure why the original waiter didn't value our business but it showed we were not his priority.

Saw this place while I was across the parking lot getting pancakes (don't judge me) it was closed at the time. Since I love Peruvian; we returned and I treated my cousin for her bday. I thought it would be a more upscale decor, but BABY!!! the food did not disappoint. I got the chicken and sautéed veggies and a shrimp and spinach appetizer.

Inside is cute, clean and organized. I really like the bar area. In the summer it would be a vibe! Customer service was on point! Very relatable and friendly. Food was delicious!!! Great portions. Flavorful. Fresh. It was honestly perfect. A GEM!

We went here for a friends birthday and had a blast! While small the decor is edgy and cool but clean at the same time. Our server was so nice and fun! The food was absolutely amazing. Portions were huge and everything came out piping hot. This was my first experience with embur and I will be back!

It was my first time there and I'm definitely going back. The food was very tasty! The service was superb.

Empanada and yucca fries also pretty

Overall, a decent place. I ordered the empanada, which was pretty good with a flavorful filling. The yuca fries were also solid, crispy and well-prepared. For my main dish, I had the half roasted chicken with a side salad and red sauce. The sauce was very spicy, which I personally enjoyed. The chicken itself was good, nothing extraordinary, but certainly not bad. The service was fantastic, very attentive and friendly throughout the meal.

Embur was a great experience! Three of us grabbed lunch today and this was my first time trying it! I got the chicken empanada, house salad, and Ronda Caliente. The salad was light and refreshing with an amazing vinaigrette. The empanada was baked and filled with flavorful chicken. The waiter brought us an array of sauces. I loved the pico, the green sauce, the yellow sauce and the chimi churri. The Ronda Caliente was delicious. It comes with skewers of shrimp, salmon, chicken, and beef. I subbed my salmon skewer for a chicken one which they were super accommodating about. We all enjoyed our meals and the staff were wonderful! The restaurant was spacious and clean with an open layout.

If you're looking for a real Peruvian restaurant, you've found it! The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is very good! We ordered the shrimp iza as a starter, which is a super refreshing and light appetizer. The lomo saltado was well-made. Now, the highlight is the ceviche: very well-served, appetizing and beautiful! The kind of dish that makes you feel happy at the end! The only thing I would point out is the lack of a changing table for mothers with children. Other than that, I already want to go back!

I haven't been here in years and I am not sure why because I've been missing out. This place is fantastic, everything is delicious - made well and the service is outstanding. I really enjoyed the beef empanadas as an appetizer. I ordered a strawberry mojito Mocktail that was absolutely amazing and fresh. The Lomo Saltado was cooked to perfection and to top it off we got a tiramisu that was insanely good. I need to start coming back more often! It's a killer.

Had to cure my churrasco craving! While the dish was absolutely delish the price tag was high for the portion. The skirt steak was seasoned very well but keep your water near by there is some spice there that may catch you off guard! The house rice was also very good but I would have liked a larger portion with the price tag or perhaps an additional side. The atmosphere was lively for Friday lunch hour, nearly full. The bartender was nice and quite excited to show off his exceptional mojito skills. I look forward to returning to try the lunch special and empanadas in the future.

I still haven't had a bad meal here, not even a mediocre meal! My wife and I came for the rotisserie chicken. That was flavorful and tender, and came with a tasty, creamy sauce. The side choices are rice and beans, house rice, or what my wife and I chose, steak fries AND a salad. Yum to both. The fries had a semi course salt and the salad greens and tomato were perfectly fresh. The service was very good: prompt and friendly. We sat outside because the inside was a bit chilly. If you haven't been here yet, you're really missing out!

Another visit to Embur to enjoy a delicious meal w the family. They have a good selection of Peruvian dishes, but my favorite food is ceviche. We all cleaned up all our plates and ordered chicken to go. They also have inka Lola and chicha morada if you want the full experience. Service is outstanding! Love the interior, there's a bar area and patio seating.

4.5 stars to be exact. 5 star service, 5 star food, 5 star drinks. So why 4.5? I'll explain…read morebelow... We enjoyed an amazing evening bellied up to the bar. Adam was our host, server and bartender. Huge shout out to Adam, thank you for an amazing evening! He made us his house old fashioned and espresso martini, both perfectly mixed. He gave us recommendations for apps, for mains, and even for other restaurants we'd love in the area. He made the evening special all on his own. We started with salmon carpaccio. Wow! The most tender and thin pieces of salmon, topped with arugula and dressing. This dish is one that will be remembered for the long haul. Then a pesto mushroom homemade gnocchi, and a squid ink pasta with scallops, calamari and shrimp. Two outstanding dishes. The only reason it wasn't 5 stars, and no fault of their own, was the temperature inside. We went in the middle of August on a 90+ degree day with insane humidity. We walked inside and it was hot. They had fans running. I asked if there was an issue with their HVAC, and the manager told us it's out of their hands. It's their "established" owner who runs the show when it comes to building ordinance and temp. Sitting in the bar area with the air moving was perfectly comfortable. But it was a different story in the back room away from the fans and moving air, where we were first seated. If you're here in the heat of the summer, make sure to get the 5 star experience in the bar area. This is a non issue the rest of the year. Regardless, come and enjoy the 5 star food and 5 star service. You won't be disappointed!

Dats what I'm talkin about! Their artichokes look so good. I can't stop thinking about them and am kicking myself in the pants for not getting some. Oh well, I guess that means I'll be forced to go back and get some. Ha! What I did get was the Italian Stallion sub and the Meatball Parm sub. First. Let's talk about the bread. FRESH and slightly crunchy on the outside, with the perfect amount of chewy, and pillowy yet dense on the inside. The BEST bread on a sub that I've found in NC. The Marinara on the sub is authentic Italian marinara with just the right amount of cheese, but those MEATBALLS...I've never had a meatball quite like theirs and they are homemade, delicious with the perfect seasonings. Yum! The Italian Stallion. Absolutely the BEST sandwich I think I've ever eaten. They don't skimp on the meat that's for sure and its QUALITY cold cuts all the way. And the best thing about getting food from here? Their prices. They have kept their prices on the lean side while still keeping their sandwiches fat. Love love love! So what ya gonna do about it? Go back for more! That's what! This is a 100% YES and I will be recommending to everyone.

I came here to write, in short, that the food was great and the service was awful. Which is funny,…read morebecause it turns out I wrote nearly the exact opposite of that almost a year ago. Who knew a corporate chain could have such variation. On my most recent visit, we were seated immediately, but sat for around 15 minutes before anyone spoke to us at all. Right when we were about to get up and walk out, we saw the manager flag down someone, who turned out not to be our server, but got our drink orders. Interesting approach... I was surprised he would rather pull someone off their section than take our drinks himself. I guess he was too busy hovering near the host stand, watching everyone. We got our drinks very promptly after ordering, but it was a little while longer before our server came by to take our food orders. She was lovely, and very apologetic about the wait. She was clearly doing her best, but had multiple HUGE parties that ate up most of her time. I watched her run around all night. She never stopped moving, yet there were huge delays in our service, and we had several drinks-empty-out-of-bread-no-food moments. We got our appetizer around 30 minutes after arriving. While we sat idle, with no food or drink, we had plenty of time to people-watch. And we observed many other parties having similar issues to us. The table behind us, who had a different, equally busy server, had to get up and walk to the bar or host stand several times to ask for things like drink refills, napkins, etc. Mind you, our tables were literally right next to the host stand, and by extension, by the manager who hovered there the whole time. I understand that management does, obviously, involve managing. So, sometimes managers do need to supervise and coach their staff. However, part of being a leader is jumping in when needed. Which this guy clearly had no interest in doing. I can't fathom why you would ever choose to hunt down another, uninvolved staff member, to do something that would take you all of 30 seconds to do yourself. He also never actually spoke to us directly, despite clearly seeing our delays in service. A far cry from the many restaurants whose managers circle the dining room checking on every guest at least once. Oh and there was a green, hair-like object (Dyed hair? Thin plastic thread?) in my chicken. Our waitress had the dish replaced promptly, but, it really should not happen to start with. We also were served a basket of still-frozen-inside bread once. Not so fresh baked, I guess. Other than the hair and the (ice) cold bread, the food was great. I do really like the Carrabba's menu in general. However, this location continues to disappoint. I doubt I'll make the mistake of coming here a 3rd time.
