One of my favorite places in Greensboro! The food is always fresh and hot. The service is on point, especially when the "moms" get involved. I experiment with the spice levels but they always get it right. Beautiful inside and well lit.

So far the food here has been amazing. I've got the red curry and panang curry. Both which were really good. I've gotten the pad Thai twice, both in which were amazing each time although I will say they were inconsistent. The second time I got pad Thai, it seemed really saucy. But either way they were delicious. The staff are always really nice when I walk in and place my order. The ambience is cozy.

I met a friend for lunch and the food was so good that I forgot to take photos! I did, however, take photos of the interior adorned for the holidays. It was beautiful. I enjoyed spicy tofu with mixed vegetables and my friend had crunchy fried tofu with peanut sauce. This is my go to Thai restaurant for delicious food and ambience. It's especially a festive restaurant to have a holiday lunch or dinner at.

As someone who's vegetarian, I was somewhat disappointed with the options. The quality of the food is great, and the flavors were good. I ordered pad kee mao and the cashew nut with tofu, both of which were good. However, none of the curries or coconut milk based items could be made vegetarian. All include fish sauce. They do make many of the noodle or entrees vegetarian though. Service was great and the decor was fresh. Overall, I wouldn't return as a vegetarian.

This is one of the best Thai places in Greensboro hands down. The food came out fast and the service was very friendly! They have a great selection of wine and also saki. Definitely recommend!

I truly enjoyed this thai dinner. The decor is so cute and garden like. The rolls tasted fresh and were crunchy. I ordered the massaman curry. As long as you don't have a nut allergy, it's delicious. It didn't take longer than the other orders at my table. Idk if it took longer to prepare or if they forgot but it was delicious. My friend wished for more rice but my portion was perfect. It's located on battleground beside sprouts. I'll have to come back asap.

My family are suckers for Asian food, and while we have lived in Greensboro for the last 8 years, I hadn't tried Thai Square yet. My three year old and I decided to have a lunch date after being housebound from the snow, and we loved the food that we got! The servers were very friendly and helped us with recommendations and they were great with my toddler. The restaurant was clean and the music pleasant and everything smelled AMAZING. We ordered the chicken Tom Ka, the Kao Ob, and the shumai. The complimentary soup that came with my entree was also devoured by my three year old. We also were able to take home some leftovers. We will likely come again!

ive come here multiple times, and I love this place! the food is so flavorful and the portions are great for the prices. ive tried other thai restaurants in NC and they just dont compare to this one, especially the red curry! this waa my first time trying the crab rangoon and its the best ive had in a while

Came in for a late lunch and they weren't too busy. We were immediately greeted and our service was top tier! The server brought "special" straws for our toddler - so cute! She enjoyed her chicken and noodle dish and we had plenty to bring home that reheated amazingly! The curry was delicious - it seemed to get better with every bite! Yum!

Check out the menu! Everything smelled and looked delicious!

Thailand was the first country I visited in Southeast Asia. I will never forget that trip and the amazing time I had. Although I started off in Bangkok, I had a wonderful life experience of traveling all over the country. The people were so sweet, the sites were incredible and the food was out of this world and dirt cheap! I remember having huge plates of rice and fish and vegetables for $1 or $2. I wonder what it costs today? I wondered if it's still possible to get Thai food in the Greensboro without spending a million, and then I discovered Thai Square square at the Westridge shopping Center! Rabbi Amy suggested this place since it is close to Temple and since I had never been there, I thought it would be a great opportunity for another Yelp review, even if it was just a mediocre restaurant. Boy was I wrong! Thai Square is located right in the heart of the Westridge shopping Center so it is very easy to access from Battleground Avenue or Bryan Boulevard. Plenty of parking right up front and you can also get some other chores in the shopping center while you are there. I did not know what to expect when I walked in. The place looked pretty casual but welcoming! As soon as you walk in, the smells are hypnotizing and enticing! Not sure what the dinner menu looks like... maybe it's the same menu? In either case, I was pleasantly surprised with the offerings and even more pleasantly surprised at the prices. Quite reasonable considering what things are costing these days. I ordered chicken with vegetables. The plate came and it was quite hearty but with white rice. Before I even completed my sentence, the waitress knew exactly what I was going to ask her and returned shortly with brown rice which I absolutely love and is so much better for me! They won me over with that!! Very hard to find restaurants with brown rice, so I was impressed! Refills of drink were constant accompanied by subtle but welcomed checking in from time to time. It's attentive staff and a lovely conversation with Rabbi Amy coupled with this delicious plate of food made in excellent lunch and only $11. Impressive!!! I would highly recommend Thai Square next time you are looking for Asian food with a wonderful taste, wanting to brown rice, good portion and a very reasonable price. I may not have been in Bangkok or Chiang Mai, but I certainly loved my Thai food at Westridge shopping center! Go check it out!!

    Crab Rangoons

Popped into Thai square for lunch today on a whim and let me just say zero regrets. A friend and I arrived around 12:30 and it was busy but we got seated quickly. The restaurant itself is clean and decorated very well. They had their holiday decorations up and every single plate on their walls had a little red bow on it. The time and attention to detail was a good indication of what was going to happen next. We ordered the crab cakes Rangoons as our appetizer and they were stuffed with a delicious cream cheese and crab filling. They did not skimp at all. For our entrees we ordered the Panang curry with chicken and the chicken pad Thai with the intentions of trying each other's dish. Both entrees came with a delicious brothy soup. I considered getting a pint to go it was so good. Both of our dishes were 10/10. The panang curry had a rich and savory broth that had the perfect amount of kick to it. The chicken pad Thai was some of the best I have tried in a very long time. The noodles were cooked to perfection and the flavors in it were exactly what I wanted with bits of fried egg sneaking in each bite. I honestly don't know which one I liked better they were both so delicious. Every server we encountered was kind, personable, and efficient. We will most definitely be back and I'm claiming this as our new spot

Met over here again for work lunch. This time, I tried the panang curry which was a red curry with peas, carrots, zucchini and onions. I had the shrimp and asked for broccoli to be added. The upcharge was only $2 more, not as much as quoted which made it even better. This curry was medium spicy and very flavorful. I thought I'd have to add from the spice rack which I often do, but not this time. Just forgot to ask for brown rice to replace the white rice but still delicious non the less. This would be my go to dish here over my beloved pad Thai that I usually get at most places.

I ordered the Madison Avenue which is a croissant smeared with honey walnut cream cheese, smoked turkey, and granny smith apples. My side was slaw and I also ordered fries with a side of ranch. Upon walking in the place appeared clean, the customer service, not the best. But maybe someone was having a bad day, I get it. I'm so glad I did check my bag before I left because they did not give me ranch or plasticware, man I would have missed out on some amazing ranch. The young man gave me three ranches which I'm so disappointed I only grabbed one. Unfortunately I didn't get the best pictures but the food tasted great. The fries were thick cut (probably frozen) and let me tell you, I would just come back for the ranch! They have my favorite restaurant ranch. The slaw was really tasty - good ole southern sweet mayonnaise slaw, not too vinegary. The sandwich, not bad, good combo of toppings, they paired well together. I' ll be back. Anyone want to go for a patio lunch? Ciao for now

The waitress was prompt-I was afraid I would feel rushed but she seemed to have a hurried nature and it didn't feel directly related to it being close to closing. I ordered my ramen with no egg and spicy and it came with no spice and an egg. Disappointing to say the least because I've heard great things and expected better since in the short period of time we were there, so many people came in to pickup takeout orders. There was 2 pieces of thinly sliced pork in my ramen and it was mostly mushrooms. The broth was super flavorful I just wish I had more spice. If you're planning to eat there, just know the food isn't fast--it's made fresh to order, so expect a little wait, but it's worth it for hot, quality meals. My go-to is the egusi with chicken and a side of pounded yam. I'll also switch it up with their vegetable soup and pounded yam, which is always a good choice. I've tried the jollof rice as well--I'd give it about a 7/10. It's solid, especially with chicken, and I recommend asking for a little extra red sauce or gravy to take it up a notch. Overall, the food is consistently good when I order delivery. One thing to watch for--they've occasionally forgotten my extra pounded yam, so double-check your order before settling in. Stopped in for a weekday lunch and the person behind the counter was really nice. The place was clean and bright with an open air feel to it. I ordered an Egusi with Chicken and Fufu. Let's go through what all this is, but first why the 3.5 rating...the chicken. This is supposed to be fall off the bone that is fresh and stewed in the sauces. Great flavor for sure, but it was very tough. The plastic knife given had trouble cutting it. You want to think fall off the bone meat, this wasn't it. Not sure if I came in on a bad rotation where they reheated chicken from earlier or the night before, but it did not taste fresh as you'd expect. Ok now to the good stuff... Egusi: this is the main flavor, listed as a soup on the menu but more like a stew instead. It's nutty and hearty with 5 star flavor and spices. This thing rocked! Fufu: this as a mild and soft starch that goes with it all. Almost like a softer consistency gnocchi or some other potato/noodle combo. Not much to it by itself honestly, but man, what a great flavor bomb when you take a piece of it and dunk it in that amazing egusi. Maybe on a day with fresh and tender chicken, the trifecta would be complete: soft and chewy fufu + rich and nutty egusi + fall off the bone tender chicken. Unfortunately today the 3rd piece was missing.

It was huge, no skimping here. And for $2.50 it's a steal. Went with the lunch shrimp pho for $11.50. Everything for lunch is $9.50-$11.50, and the rest of the menu is also well priced. I couldn't believe the size of this lunch portion. Whoever said size doesn't matter in regard to food is kidding themselves. And the size wasn't the biggest surprise...this was one of the best pho dishes I've ever had! The separate plated bean sprouts, Thai basil, jalapeños, and lime were unbelievably fresh. The beef broth was full of flavor (choice of chicken broth as well), shrimp perfectly cooked, and noodles delicious. I can't say enough about the extra chili crisp sauce on the side. This is gold.
