This place consistently under pours yet charges full price. They're not the greatest smoothies but we go because it's convenient. I always get the 16 oz mocha bliss and they never give me 16 oz. Why are we still being charged full price ?

I've always loved their smoothies and still do! Finally tried out one of their bowls today and what I received looks nothing like the bowls online in their pictures. There is literally no granola, and there is huge chunks of ice in it. Essentially I was given a smoothie with some fruit on top. Definitely still edible but for $12 pretty disappointing.

This is a really reliable spot for a smoothie. I wouldn't say it's anything special but I've liked everything I've tried. They have lots of additions available too, i add their greens and vitamin C to everything and those are always really tasty! The service is always good, and there is some indoor and outdoor seating available.

Really respectful and knowledgeable workers! the young man working as a one man job did a great job while being very helpful and quick. I recommended if you are looking for a filling nutritious snack!

Love ECS but this location falls short. Pros: nice staff. Cons: no sugar free options, no natural peanut butter or PB 2. Won't go back

Literally worst açaí bowl I've ever had. Insanely over priced. They don't even cut up the bananas. I highly recommend to not go here

Took 20 minutes to make a smoothie. Only one new guy working. Plus the hours on Yelp here are incorrect. Thanks for wasting my time.

I liked the sandwich, it just wasn't quite worth the price imo. Like I'd still go if it was payday or something but probably not on a regular day tbhhh. I did like the bread of the sandwich though! It threw me for a loop since I didn't expect it to be so crunchy and thin, but it really grew on me.

The bread surprised me as being a new type of sandwich bread - it was really crispy, and the grill marks were pretty cool to see. The crunch on it was actually quite nice. Honestly was very surprised the bread was this good. The steak was decent enough. Nothing special, but also they don't do the thing where they call it a steak sandwich or bowl and give you a few pieces of skirt steak. The meat was actually spread apart well throughout the sandwich. The cheese and sauces gave this a good moisture level to prevent it from being too dry. This contributed to the pretty good taste Only issue is the price - it's quite a small sandwich, and yet you're paying 15 bucks for it. That's just insane prices. This is hardly filling enough for a single person for lunch. Overall, I was expecting this to be expensive and bad, and at least it was just expensive. 7.5/10

I've previously had HeyTea in their Bellevue location, so I expected more or less the same when I…read moregot to this one on a hot, sweaty Tuesday evening around 5:40pm. Because it was hot and sweaty, a big sea of people were waiting both outside and inside this place, and I saw only about 5 or so staff members making all the drinks. There's only two tables and two benches to sit at on the right-hand side of the place; otherwise, the rest of the space is behind the counter where all the drinks are made and the strong aromatic aroma of tea fills the interior. From my visit here, I think you can only place orders either through their lone kiosk to the left-hand side of the entrance near a corner, or by scanning the QR code at the front of the entrance and following prompts on your phone. Staff was too busy making drinks to take orders at the front counter when I was inside. Either way, you have to use the HeyTea app to scan a QR code (on the receipt you get after placing your order) if you want to see an estimate on when your drink(s) will be ready. By the time I signed up for an account and downloaded the app using the slow 5G, my estimated time was 25 minutes; however, the wait for my triple supreme matcha latte (with extra matcha, less sugar and all other things in their recommended settings) ended up being more than 45 minutes as I walked around the perimeter and waited inside and outside this location as well. It was really chaotic trying to get my drink once it was ready; people were cutting in front of me and others to show staff their receipt and pick up their orders even though I was in front of the line. Taste wise though, the matcha is a strong ceremonial blend with grassy tones that actually caught me by surprise. That's because they have a matcha cheese cloud which I thought would have dulled the matcha taste but it didn't! There's also matcha mochi and what tasted like matcha jelly on the bottom which further strengthened the earthy tones. Probably because it was really hot as of this writing, the ice melted much fasted than usual so that's out of this place's control and therefor doesn't detract from my experience itself. Wait here was really long for just one drink but I'm thankful there's something you can use to see when your drinks are ready - in this case, their HeyTea app. I would probably only come back if I was around the area, though wait times for drinks might deter me from doing so altogether.

Unfortunately, neither one was for me, but I can definitely see why they're popular with younger customers. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and very fast with preparing the drinks. The shop itself is quite small, so I wouldn't plan on staying to sit for long.

I decided to try the matcha bubble waffle since I love a good bubble waffle. This is the first flavored bubble waffle I've ever ordered so I was a bit surprised at the texture difference on the inside. It looks undercooked but taste wise it definitely has a hint of matcha. I've only tried their chocolate and regular waffles, as well as a few of their tea options. Compared to the tea, the waffles and toppings are very mellow in flavor, while the drinks can be quite sweet. I haven't tried reducing the sweetness because I like the way they make their tea--at least, the ones I usually get. I prefer their fruit-flavored teas over the milk-based ones, but the milk-based options are also good. The inside is small and clean, with plenty of seating and enough separation for a bit of privacy if you're with a date. The place is very well lit, and you can watch the workers as they prepare everything. The workers are almost always pleasant and communicate well. However, on my last visit, they actually made me upset. I didn't say anything, but let's just say I had to wait to get my order after everyone else received theirs, even though I had ordered for three people. This meant they got their items, and I got mine after them, along with other random waiting customers, and even those who showed up in the next ten minutes. That was frustrating. Either way, it's just a simple snack, nothing extremely fancy like soufflé cheesecakes. Oh, and the parking stinks, but what else is new downtown / slu? At least there's plenty to do in this area, which makes coming here much easier as I often find myself already planning to hang out nearby. The beautiful surroundings and the restaurant being about one story up mean great views while you indulge.

If you're going to refuel in Seattle, this is prime territory. Now let's talk bowl. I'll be honest -- walking in, it felt a little... franchisey. Order-from-a-screen energy. Minimal small talk. Not quite the warm hug of a family-owned neighborhood gem. I was concerned. Then the bowl arrived. Ordered the Vervacious Bowl (Large, obviously -- I refuse to learn). And I LOVED it. Generous toppings. Not a sprinkle situation. A commitment. Peanut butter and açaí together? That combo continues to be undefeated. Jordan & Pippen. PB & Açaí. Some partnerships just work. Ingredients were fresh. Clean. Post-meal feeling? Light, energized, no regrets. That matters. Now for the structural critique. Why are we still building bowls vertically like we're constructing a downtown condo tower? These tall bowls make mixing a tactical challenge. I'm in there trying to integrate layers like I'm coaching a zone offense. Flavor? Great. Execution? Strong. Engineering? We can improve. Great company. Great location. Great variety of options.
