The smoothie portion of the acaii bowls tastes a little less like acaii and a little more like that one uber healthy slim actor's morning routine shake that's slightly frozen. It's next door to Met Market on 1st Ave N side, where that Yeti Yogurt place used to be. It was a hot day so I wanted something refreshing and decided to get their watermelon juice with lemon, mint and probiotic because I am getting up there in my years and need to stay regular if you know what I mean. Staff has always been friendly, will help you choose something if you need, let you sample a juice if you aren't sure about it. Prices are pricey for a bottle of juice, about $6 + or so, so do what you gotta do to buy one. They also have yogurt as well with some toppings etc but I haven't tried it. I usually always come in for a freeze (it's a necessity) and grab some of their aloe waters. This review is specifically for the cleanses they sell. I have not tried any of the "freezes" that seem quite popular in many of the other reviews. I ordered the cleanse 2 for same day pickup on Sunday. I was pleasantly surprised when I received an email less than 20min later saying that it was ready for pickup. When I arrived everything was already bagged up and ready to go. Upon returning home and placing the juices in my fridge, I noticed some of them had expiration dates a month or two out. I was a little disappointed as given the distant expiration dates and speedy preparation, these juices were clearly produced en mass, in advance. I was hoping they would be more freshly juiced as the nutrient content diminishes over time. Additionally, I noticed the bottles had been number incorrectly per the order listed in the pamphlet. It took a few minutes to peel off the labels and place them in the correct order to ensure I drank them as recommended. In terms of the cleanse itself, the juices all taste good. The sugar content is a little high given the fruit juices. I do wish there was a higher proportion of veggies to fruit in each juice. They are just plain pressed juice, not blended, so there's no fiber. I did find myself a bit more hungry than usual, as the cleanses I typically purchase contain fiber. Overall not my favorite and I will likely switch back to the other brand in the future. read more

I've been here twice - the first time was 5 stars this time was just not good. I came in looking for a specific juice Greens and another one elderberry with vitamin c. I walked in told him what I was looking for. He pulled out the juices except a shot of vitality of elderberry. I showed him a picture of the elderberry vitamin c I was looking for and I was told that they do not sell it and are discontinued - (even though the pic I showed him was from instacart) of course I was disappointed as to not looking around. Juicing (whether you make it or buy it) is a bit intimidating--it's like walking into a CrossFit gym with no history of exercise. But on to the review... While visiting home, my best friend could not stop raving about this amazing place she went to in LA, Pressed Juicery. I mentally put it in the back of my mind since I had no near future plans to travel to LA. Upon my return to Seattle, I noticed a new spot in place of the old Yeti Yogurt, it sounded familiar. I instantly snapped a photo and asked my friend if this was the spot she was raving about and received an all caps response of yes, followed by an insane amount of exclamation points. Still feeling intimidated, I passed it by. Later that week, I finally felt the urge to go in when I got hit with the worst cold. If I thought I was intimidated before I walked in, that intimidation went up 10 fold upon looking at the menu. There were so many combinations, types of drinks (not all juices) and I felt like every time I scanned the menu, my brain's processing functions were malfunctioning out of "ordering panic". Once the customer in front of me finished up their order, I was greeted by a blonde cashier (Hagar I think? I remember seeing something along those lines on her name tag) who instantly relieved my anxiety. I had a million questions and she warmly answered every one of them, I distinctly remember being impressed with her knowledge, after I realized I had embarrassingly asked question after question like the newbie I was. She was very attentive and encouraged me to sample a bunch of juices which helped tremendously. I ended up walking out with a couple of juices and some wellness and vitality shots to help with the cold...and went back every day, for 4 days, afterwards. For being the new establishment that it was, it seemed that they had everything down to a science. I admittedly had one odd experience on the 2nd day, with a different cashier, but I chalked it up to her possibly still learning the ropes. The 3rd day I was convinced that this was "my place" after my experience with another employee, Jenn. I've been back quite a few times and Jenn has helped to expand my ordering horizons. I've had most of the juices, the hot drinks (turmeric latte is where it's at!) and the freezes...oh the freezes...I don't know if I can live life without those. I hope Pressed Juicery stays around for awhile, there's really nothing else like it in the neighborhood. I came for the juices and stayed for everything else including the stellar service this store provides. If you have an opportunity to come to this location, I highly highly recommend it. I tried the greens Freeze, and it is really good - it's vegan, has no added sugars, and contains kale, so it makes for a nice guilt-free treat. It's $5.95 for a small with 3 toppings. There are a handful of fresh toppings to choose from, and I liked that the fruit toppings weren't the floating-in-syrup kind. The shop itself is very small and is focused on selling the pre-made juices, I think. But since they do offer coffee and frozen treats, it'd be nice to have maybe one or two 2-top tables in there.
