    Delicious cream of mushroom soup!
    Sara K.

This is a delightful little place! Decor is charming, there's a mini gift shop at the back of the restaurant for browsing after you eat and staff is super friendly and helpful. Food is delicious. I enjoyed a cup of very flavorful cream of mushroom soup and chicken salad on a croissant. My side salad with so pretty and one of their dressing options is Vidalia onion which was yummy. The friend I dined with is gluten-free so there weren't very many options for her so I didn't get dessert as I didn't want her to feel bad. I would definitely go back! This would be a fun mother-daughter place, It's tricky to find as it's not on a Major Street and I suspect parking might be limited sometimes,

This is a casual tea room featuring sandwiches, soups, salads plus breads and desserts from scratch. You can usually find something light or something more hearty as well.

Clara Barton Platter. Half sandwich, cup of soup, house salad, fruit bread, and fresh fruit.

Everything on the menu is made fresh and from scratch. Wonderful soups, fruit breads, and salads. First time? I'd recommend the Clara Barton Platter. Half sandwich, cup of soup, slice of fruit bread, house salad, and fresh fruit. Great way to sample a little of everything.

I've been enjoying trying out different coffee shops in the Peoria area and this time I brought my…read moresister along! This is my very first time visiting Café Santa Rosa! When we arrived, there was only one other customer in the shop, so it was very quiet and relaxed. The music was playing but it was almost to quiet. We did get there right around 2:30 and they close at 3:00 p.m. so that could be why they weren't busy at all. Only one other customer came in while we drink our coffee. I was hoping to try one of their chocolate croissants, but they were out at the time. I ordered the winter spice latte, and my sister ordered the hot mocha latte. I have to say, my favorite part of the entire visit was the atmosphere. The space is absolutely beautiful -- warm, industrial, and rustic all at the same time. The wood accents paired with the exposed ceilings, soft lighting, and open layout make it feel welcoming while still being really unique. There's so much room, and it feels like a place where you could comfortably sit and hang out for a while with friends. One of the coolest little details was spotting an old dumbwaiter -- you really don't see those very often anymore, and it added even more character to the space. I also loved learning that they have a bar-style setup on the other side of the restaurant a few nights a week, which is a fun and unexpected touch. Another special feature is that their coffee comes straight from Colombia, and you could truly taste the quality. They've been in this location here for about 2 years and since the building is bigger I hope that they are getting a lot more customers but I'm not sure. Overall, it's a really neat spot with a great vibe, and it's worth checking out.

We were warmly greeted by the owner, and fell in love with the layout. The menu is extensive, and I tried the cortado and a harvest muffin. Both were extraordinary, and my friend tried the avocado toast. Lucky to try a bite, it exceeded ALL avo toasts I've ever tried. The sourdough was homemade, and the avo had a Colombian twist that took it to a new level. Topped with a medium boiled egg, it was just sublime. Very classy, very comfortable..can't wait to go back!

Always love going to Ardor Bakery!!…read more Today we went during the farmers market & we were quickly welcomed & able to sit outside on the patio. Quickly, our server came by & got us started on some drinks. I had the oat milk draft latte (which I've ordered to go multiple times) & it remains my favorite drink in Peoria! We got the maple breakfast sandwich with bacon added & it was the perfect amount of crispy & flavorful. We got two bakery items to share which were also yummy! The best thing we got was the potatoes with the harissa sauce - OBSESSED. They were beautiful & the dill was a great touch. Loved our meal & service! Will be back of course!! Added some photos from a previous to-go bakery order!

This is a place where passion for food meets a passion for cultivating an experience. Restaurants like Ardor are hard to come by in food meccas like New York or Chicago ... so you can say I was surprised in the best way possible when I found it in Peoria, Illinois. No food was bad. All of it was excellent and unique. Zeke (the head chef) just knows how to make good food. I would give some recommendations, but it seems like they change the menu based on what's in season. So go and have fun, you can't be steered wrong. Few highlights if they have it: - Bone-in Ribeye - Pork Chop - Risotto Each of these were some of the best I've had... anywhere Thank you Ardor for proving that personality and quality in the restaurant biz is not going anywhere!
