Wuddup! I ordered churrasco skirt steak with french fries and salad. I tried my best to order the food in Español. The Atmosphere felt like I was in Dominican Republic. The service was OK. One thing I noticed they were trying to set up a Domino game while I was eating. The manager/Owner gave me a free Mofongo sample and frozen shot. I asked for medium- well on the skirt steak and it came out well-done. The bill came out to $31 and I tip $9. Last but not least, customers did smoke hookah and watch baseball game at the bar. I'm updating my review on this location. Firstly, the lady they have taking orders is extremely rude! I ordered the picadera combo of $20.00 which consists of 4 meats and two sides. The lady did not bother to ask me what sides I would like nor the type of meats. All she said was "ok...cual es la dirección" (ok... whats your address) I ask won't you be asking what type of meats and side I want? So she getting all feisty and is like "Dime dime what you want" had to repeat myself like 4 times before she said 40 min pick up or delivery. I said I will go pick it up. (I'm down the block from this location). 40 min later I go pick up my order, food was just sitting at the counter, I get home not to my surprise food is cold she give me one side instead of two. I call her back and explained I just went to pick up the food and I'm missing stuff. She tell me "bring me back the food and I'll give you what's missing" I told her are you aware of what you have just asked me to do? I had to explain to her we are in the middle of a pandemic with a virus whom we don't know who can and cannot be carrying this and your asking me to take something I have touched and opens back into the restaurant? When you could have easily said I will prepare you that missing side and you can come pick it up. She got upset and yelled "if you want you bring back the food and get the side." I will be filing a restaurant surcharge complaint against this restaurant for discriminatory pricing. The food here is decent. That aside, the service staff is rude and engages in deceptive practices. Staff will claim that items listed in the menu have changed in price and selectively overcharge you. Staff is so dismissive and flippant they make you feel like an intruder, not a customer. If you order the same items on Seamless, they will be delivered for the listed price without fail. Very disappointed with the quality of food. When they were on Edward L Grant, whatever was served out the kitchen was very flavorful 10/10 every-time i went or my friends. It had you recommending to anyone who asked where can they get good food at in the hood. Now with their new location i guess they forgot what quality food is. We ordered a cuban, quesadilla, y palito de queso. First lo palito de queso are super doughy, like where is the cheese? They should call them palito de masa. The quesadilla was luke warm and the chicken cold. The cuban ended being so sad, first they gave it to me in a hero bread, it wasn't flatten, and it didn't have the butter garlic taste that cubans have. The pros: Cheap Flavorful Clean Nice staff Fast Good smoothies Sandwiches The cons: No tables, but they got some stuff attached to the walls where you can eat your food.
