The host was friendly and quickly responded by finding our reservation and getting us seated. Fusion Grill and Bar immediately gave me the vibe of a big city bistro with its decor and dimly lit dining room. The walls were covered with greenery and floral designs music filling the air but not too overpowering. Our server patiently answered questions and guided us through the very extensive menu. There was a plan to sample as much of the menu as our stomachs would hold. First, the cocktails before dinner were great and beautifully served. The bartenders are very talented with their creations filling a drink menu with something for everyone. My dining experience started with the calamari 5/5 which was plentiful, perfectly seasoned and tender. This absolutely killed my appetite before I could consider an entree but ordered a burger anyway. The burgers 5/5 are massive and a real challenge to consume after eating a starter. Fusion Grill and Bar was an incredible find in Katy and now one of my local top five.

We went on a Wednesday and were seated quickly. Parking was easy, and the host/server was friendly and helpful. The drinks were really good! The Oaxaca was refreshing with a little spice, and the passionfruit martini was fruity and flavorful. The loaded brisket fries were easily the best thing we ordered--huge portion and full of flavor. The red chili Brussels sprouts were also delicious! Unfortunately, the food was hit or miss. The mango habanero chicken had good flavor, but the mashed potatoes tasted like boxed potatoes and seemed undercooked. The spinach chicken was a huge portion but needed more seasoning. A little salt and pepper would've gone a long way. Overall, it was a decent experience. I'd come back and try something else, but for me, it was a 7/10. Just sharing my personal experience!

The chandeliers are the main characters for sure. Lol. We popped in for happy hour and was blessed to be served by Argelis, the most handsome bartender on the block. Not only is he eye candy, he makes you feel right at home for the moment you are there. The specialty cocktails were tasty and just the right amount of booze to keep you classy hehe. We had lite bites such as the beef carpaccio and chicken cobb salad. Both were yummy. The only complaint was the ranch dressing wasn't ranching. However the manager was delightful enough to rectify the situation with grace. I love that customer satisfaction is top tier here in a world where it has become a lost art! So kuddos to the team for being GREEEAAAT*in my Tony the Tiger voice! I would definitely come back for a brunch and get dolled up in vintage swag for an expensive day out with the girls. Pinkies up lol. They also have $10 theater tix on Tues! Take notes. This restaurant is #BarbieApproved

My husband got the NY strip from the Chef's specials; it was a little over cooked but the taste was there. Overall, a hidden gem in The Woodlands! Check them out. Ask for Avery! Service 10/10!

However, we felt like our food was just OK. We got the calamari and there wasn't anything unique about it, but it was good. My Caesar salad was a little odd. It did not taste like Cesar at all. The lasagna was just ok. We were quite disappointed in the chicken fried steak. It did not seem like it was seasoned at all, the batter was very bland and unfortunately, adding salt and pepper didn't do much because it would've been better if the batter itself was seasoned. I would return to this location, but maybe not have my hopes up so much to have a good meal. The prices are fair for what you get.

We had a few people cancel before coming in. Once again, nobody answered the phone before we arrived. The server wasn't inviting when we arrived. He said, you told us a table for 15. We ended being a party of 9. We had mediocre food and rude service. They weren't friendly, our server took our order and never came back to check on us. We could hear how he spoke to other customers too. We did actually get our water refilled from one of the other staff. The server didn't offer us any dessert. We felt rushed to leave. One guest asked for dessert and he said they one had one type of dessert. The staff at the hotel wasn't friendly either. We stopped by to look around and not one person spoke to us. We left and went to Must Be Heaven for dessert. We should've gone there for lunch but we wanted to support another local business.

I have been curious about Blisswood for awhile. I like getaways with nice tubs and hot tubs. This…read moreone seemed to foot the bill being close to Houston. I was on the fence as the pictures made it look nice but was it dated? Too country? I wasn't sure. So...headed to Wimberly, I decided to break up the driving and try this place out. So, now I'm thinking Blisswood is running out of bliss. We arrived at night and let me tell you, it is hard to find at night. When I called the owner about getting inside since the gate was shut, she explained we had to open the gate (manually)...odd for such a large operation. Forget food...it is quite far for food. We wound up eating breakfast for dinner as we did bring breakfast items. The bed seemed comfy as far as sheets were clean but pillows were all soft and old. Not one firm pillow. If you go, bring your own. It did not feel antiquish. It felt garage sale-ish. Everything was very dated and just tired. The curtains really tripped me out. They looked like rags and did not even match. The shower had gross caulking that looked like mold. The cabin had a moldy smell and just looked like it was built of the cheapest possible scraps. The hot tub...see photos. We kept on one side only. It smelt like tons of bleach. The hot tub surroundings were a rickety hazard. The step down into the bedroom...another hazard. I'm sure people have fallen as it blends. Maybe I'm spoiled from my recent Round Top stays but this place needs a serious "redo." I saw the owner's story one day I believe on YouTube and wanted to support her cause. Maybe it's good for the activities. I want to believe that's where it shines. If you really love super rustic, super dated spaces, this may be ideal for you. Also, the kitchen light did not work. Bulb was out. Doesn't someone make sure the cabins are ready? Obviously not or the hot tub would not have looked like that. So, for a romantic getaway, I would keep looking. There is much better out there and even cheaper. I don't get how they charge what they do here.

A great place to explore and get away for a while…read more We came to this ranch as a bit of an escape from the city life and rest our heads. We were going to do the safari tent but the tent got damaged. So we ended up in a little cabin in the woods instead. The cabin itself was simple, but had plenty of modern amenities. A stovetop, microwave, indoor bathroom and shower, hot water, hot tub, electric fireplace, and whirlpool bath. The space was small but intimate, clean and furnished but aged and worn. It's not luxurious living, but it has a ton of luxury items that one would not normally find in a venue like this. We booked some horseback riding and wildlife safari excursions. The horseback riding was fun, slow paced but as I never rode a horse before it was enough to get the feel of things. The wildlife safari was actually quite entertaining as well. You get up close and personal with deer, buffalo, bucks, donkeys, emu, and antelope. They very much know you got food, and watching a pack of stampeding buffalo barrel towards you for food is a very cool experience. The space is large and varied, there's plenty to see and lots you can do. It's a great space to take the family to and live as simple as you would like. The girlfriend dealt with logistics, but every interaction with staff or the owner was professional and friendly. Every part of the booking, modifying, and check in process was easy and everyone we interacted with was very hospitable. This was one of the highlights of our trip, and although our weather was not ideal we did make the best of it. It's a nice place to stay and worth the trek if you just want a respite
