I ordered Magnolia Thai using DoorDash credit a friend sent me. I decided to do pickup since the difference was almost $20. It was ready on time, the people were so friendly. They tied the bags where it wasn't a quick open. Chile pissed me off so bad trying to open the bag to get my spring rolls to eat while driving home lol I also ordered Thai tea, red and yellow curries with chicken (level 3 spice), and cashew nut with shrimp. The food was pretty good especially the cashew nut; can't say the best Thai curry I've had but no complaints at all. It's good for the area and not having to driving all the way to Houston. I'd return; I went around 5pm and the dining room was empty. Maybe cause it was early. read more

Why 4 stars? Because this is another really solid Thai place in the area. --- --- --- I have had Magnolia Thai Restaurant bookmarked for an obscenely long time, and despite many close attempts, I had never visited until recently. It's weird that it's in Magnolia, but takes me more than 30 minutes to drive there, when Magnolia city limits start about 7 minutes from me. Magnolia, you're too big. The good news: we ordered tom kha and green curry, two dishes that are great for a pickup order because they were still borderline scalding hot when I got him. I did not try the tom kha but it got the seal of approval from the wife. I enjoyed my green curry - it was probably just a tiny notch down from my all-time favorites, so it hit the spot nicely. On their menu, it gives a 0-6 rating for spicy levels, with 0 being no spice and 1 being very mild. I went with 1 because I was a bit congested and just wanted a small hint of spice. It was a tad more than a small hint, but I am also a wuss with spicy things (not by choice, it's my body betraying me from enjoying things.) I ordered a mango sticky rice for dessert and it was standard. But standard mango sticky rice is still a good time. I also ordered a thai tea, and stupidly forgot to grab it when I checked out. I didn't realize it until I was already a quarter of the way home. RIP Thai Tea, I'll always dream of how you could have washed down that level 1 spiciness. I wish this place was closer, but I would happily visit again if I am in the area. read more

I ordered the Penang Curry with Shrimp and it was great but the spice level is too mild. I ordered a 5 heat level and it was maybe a 3. Also, VERY skimpy on the shrimp. I only had four in my order. read more

What can I say. It's not the most stunning restaurant I've ever been in but the food is OFF THE HOOK! The red curry with is my new favorite. I was enjoying it so much today I think I got half of it on my white shirt. They cracked a bottle of Perrier to help with the stains, which really didn't surprise me because the lunch service has always been super on point. The restaurant appears to do alot of "to go" business so it's easy to grab a seat for locals or travelers experiencing magnolia for the first time, it's a highly recommend for me. read more

1st time here and had high expectations due to the many 5 star reviews. Service was great and then the bad Food coming out so fast was a clue to everything being precooked. Chicken and beef were tough and dry like they were cooked in large batches yesterday then added to the noodles. The broccoli was mushy and way overcooked also like it is precooked then added to the noodles. Basically the noodle dish entrees reminded us of leftovers warmed up at home in the microwave. Had the same issues with the combination fried rice. Sorry just not worth our 1/2 drive to get there. We have been looking for a good Thai place and hoped this might be it based on reviews but I guess we'll just keep looking read more

Haven't reviewed this place in 2-3 years but have been plenty of times. Still my wife's favorite Thai in the area. It's really good. Yellow curry and pad Thai are our favorites. My wife gets the 3 spice I prefer the 4. Spring rolls and crab rangoons are awesome. Glad to see they are doing so well. 4.8 stars on yelp is amazing. Was so excited to find out Magnolia had a Thai restaurant!! After reading the reviews, I was more excited to try it. It did not disappoint. The service was very quick and the food was fresh and hot and tasted delicious. It is set in a strip mall type with a basic setup inside, but is extremely clean. I have lived in new Magnolia for several months now and have yet to find somewhere close by with yellow curry until now. It was the perfect portion size for me, and it tasted great. I also had Thai tea, which is always amazing. I overheard one of the other patrons ask how long they had been around, and the answer was 3-4 weeks. I hadn't realized that... My family and I have been here a lot times, and apparently never did a review of this place somehow. One of my favorite places, and favorite place in magnolia. The place gives off a sort of casual vibe, and is usually just the right amount of quite. They have good songs playing all day. Everyone here is very nice, and you can tell this is a good and peaceful work place. Iced Thai tea is amazing, and it will satisfy your sweet taste buds. My favorite thing to get is the orange chicken, which is sweet, spicy, and loving. Everything always comes hot and you can tell it was homemade, and not microwaved throughout the day. Fresh spring rolls are the best I've ever had, and I usually get some to go for the next day. I usually tell my parents I want to eat something "fresh", and the fresh spring rolls are the definition of fresh. If you are in Magnolia, stop by, you won't regret it! read more

Fantastic Thai food. Had the fresh spring rolls which came with peanut and sweet chili sauces. Very crunchy and the sauces were great. Lunch was chicken Pad Thai (level 4). Finally we have a great Thai restaurant close by! Everything we ordered was amazing! I got the Tom Kha soup and it was soooo good! The spring rolls were also great! We ate here for the first time and it was worth the 20 minute drive from the Woodlands. Service was quick and the food was excellent and flavorful.
