Very good place and hidden right in the midtown. As soon as I walked in I felt it's a special vibe here - decor, people, staff. Everybody is friendly and very much helpful. Food is delicious and portions are huge for a very reasonable price. Will definitely stop by again to try their happy hour and taco Tuesday

After spending most of the day helping a friend move, we stopped by Emilio's for lunch. It was my first visit, and with so many Tex-Mex spots around Atlanta, I figured it was worth trying. The location is a big plus. While the address is on West Peachtree Street, it's easier to find from 13th Street, directly across from Atlantic House Leasing Entrance. With Barry's Bootcamp, Google, the Epicurean Hotel, and several apartments nearby, it's easy to see why this place gets so much foot traffic. We started with the chorizo queso, I ordered the enchiladas, and my friend had a couple of street tacos. The enchiladas were the right portion size and executed well. Nuevo Laredo is still my favorite for enchiladas, but Emilio's definitely delivered. Overall, the food was flavorful and everything was well prepared. The Piña Colada margaritas were the highlight. They were refreshing, strong, and worth ordering. The service was fast and friendly. Overall, Emilio's is a solid Midtown Tex-Mex spot with a great location, good food, strong drinks, and welcoming service. I'd definitely stop by again if I were in the area. They also have a covered patio!

Service was impressively fast. We barely had to wait for our food even though it was during the Mexico FIFA game. I ordered the birria tacos and was a little surprised because they came with sliced beef instead of shredded meat, and there wasn't any consome. I'm not sure if my order was mixed up, but they were still flavorful and enjoyable. The mango margarita definitely packed a punch, so be prepared! My favorite item, though, was the queso gringo. I love white cheddar, and it was absolutely delicious.

Came here the other night with a friend and It's a vibe and the staff is so friendly. So well priced for Atlanta and the food was amazing. I suggest the birria quesadillas and the trio dips. I am coming back next time I am in town!!! Loved it

10/10 We stayed at the nearby AC Marriott and saw this spot when driving in. I've been craving shrimp tacos so this was perfect. When I say CUTE, I mean this spot is CUTE. It was definitely giving authentic vibes. And, it was still decorated really cute for Valentine's Day. We made it in for happy hour and that was an added plus... $6 margaritas and cheap chips and queso. And those chips were thIn, airy and flavorful! I got my shrimp taco and a Baja fish one. These tacos took me back to vacationing in Cancun. That fish one beat the shrimp one, to my surprise! I added refried beans and rice. The only negative comment is that we were seated literally beside a set of stairs. I wasn't a fan but I'm also not a complainer. The seating location didn't impact my star rating or the great dining we had.

I got pretty hungry while visiting a friend and he suggested this place as it's right under his building. We ordered for pickup. Once we arrived, food was made to our liking. It was super delicious! Ambiance inside is cool and what you'd expect from a restaurant serving Hispanic goodness! The only thing I did not like is that they don't carry meal combo options. Everything is ala cart. But would definitely come back!

Came here for New Year's Eve around 9pm, they had a live Dj playing great mixes and a ballon drop at 12. I reserved my table on open table so there was no wait time. There is parking behind the restaurant connected a hotel and it's $3.75 per 30 mins but they validate the first hour. Staff was kind and attentive with helping to clear up the table. We ordered the ceviche, chips and salsa, and two orders of the dos plate with blackened shrimp and fish tacos. Ceviche has a bit of a kick but overall delicious, will need extra chips to scope up all the goodness. Chips and salsa include avocado verde (has a kick) and medium salsa so much flavor in the salsa and worth the order. Now for the star of the show the main entree when comparing the blackened taco to the fish the blackened taco is winning by a long shot. The only issue is the fish taco is the best fish taco I've ever had, although cold and warm at the same time (temperature wise) the toppings brought the flavor. Overall top Mexican spot will indefinitely come back despite paying for parking the appetizer and tacos are worth it. Tip: if you get the black beans add the avocado salsa verde to enhance the flavor of the black beans. The rice will need some salt as well

Emilio's was one of our first stops during a recent trip to Atlanta. We arrived during happy hour, which was perfect! We ended up being sat on the upper level, which was pretty dead at the time. I got the wings and some beef and chicken tacos. Also, I had a couple margaritas. Our waiter was cool. Overall, I had a pretty good experience! I would definitely return when I'm back in Atlanta.

Came here for a business trip dinner. They put us at a great table that was away from the crowd and near windows - so you almost felt like you were outside without being outside. Service was pretty quick and nice. Super tasty and enjoyable mojito. Everyone else really liked their cocktails, including the margarita flight. The tres amigos appetizer (guac, queso, salsa) was a hit. Chips reminded me of Chili's - think and crispy and salty. LOVED the queso especially. I had the birria quesadillas and they were quite phenomenal I must say. They were nice and crisp and came with the dipping sauce. Highly recommend!

Emilio's seems to be a hidden gem right here in the heart of Atlanta near Atlantic Station. They do validate an hour at the attached parking deck as well. I call Emilio's a hidden gem because of the service, the quality of food, and the fun/curated vibe of the decor + patio. Interior + Patio: 10/10 super cute decorations and spacious patio. Plenty of seating and heaters on outside area. Service: Our server was Jasmine/Jazmine and she was so sweet! Super attentive and quick to grab orders/answer any questions we had. Now for the food review specifically! 1. Birria Street Taco 8/10: meat was pretty tender and flavored well! Tortilla was not my favorite, slightly tough but the juice from the meat helped soften it up. 2. Asada Street Taco 7/10: this one was okay, but I think because the tortilla was drier, but there wasn't a sauce...it overall felt like it was missing something 3. Whole Fried Snapper 9/10: flavor was nice, not overly salty, and a nice amount of meat. would have wanted it fried a little longer, but will definitely come back to order 4. Cali Queso 9/10: very good queso, loved the red sauce, and those were some amazing, fresh chips Drinks 1. Shot Flight 10/10: great flight selection for the price brand wise 2. Cocktail Flight 5/10: happy I tried it! Some different flavors as far as smokiness, spice, etc, but not my favorite cocktails. Granted, my server did let me know some of the cocktails are different/unique in flavor profile 3. Passionfruit Mojito 7/10: a little sweet for me but still solid

Emilio Tacos & Tequila is an amazing spot! The party atmosphere is fun and energetic, the service is outstanding, and the food is absolutely delicious. Great vibes, great drinks, and an all-around fantastic experience. I'll definitely be back!

    Birria quesadilla
    Emily S.

Came in on a weekday afternoon and it was quite empty. They have a lot of cool decor as well as an outdoor and indoor bar area. We ordered the chips and guac and I got the birria quesadilla and a mango passion fruit frozen margarita. Couldn't quite taste the passion fruit but it was still good. Everything was delicious and very large portions. No complaints on the food, would definitely want to come back to try other menu items.

    Joe H.

Possibly the best enchiladas I've had! Guac was super fresh and perfectly salted and they were not hesitant to get me a pitcher of Coke Zero

When you walk in the mood is instantly set with by the low ambient lighting and decor. Being that the theme & cuisine is Asian fusion, they really put a lot of effort into transporting to visually to an Asian oasis. We were seated at a table in the main dining area, but there's also a full bar with ample seating and very nice view. The seats were very comfortable and the tables are spaced in a way for intimacy. They also have music playing the background & the playlist was diverse with music ranging from K-Pop to R&B. Now on to our meal! The menu is pretty straight forward and broken down into apps/small plates, mains/big dishes, and a separate menu for cocktails. To start off we got drinks: lychee martini 10/10 & "cucumber salad" 8/10. Both were very good. The ingredients used make the drinks very intriguing and definitely something you've probably never tasted. It's suggested to keep an open mind when trying their cocktails. For food we had the shrimp wontons 10/10 (sauce was so good ... a little spice to it), the salt and pepper shrimp 8/10 (a little salty but fried well), the Thai basil fried rice 10/10 (the fried egg on top and the pickled cabbage was a great touch), and last the lobster pot 10/10 (presentation alone would make me go back to visit ... this dish was so good and flavor full). Overall my experience was great and I would definitely make it a priority to visit when I come back.

He assured me that my request for an non-tradtional dinner reservation could be fulfilled. He also informed me that they offered 2 hour parking validation in the 1010 parking deck. So I made reservations for the 6th from 630p-1100p. That particular day they also had a love band. So Dante reserved the high top bar tables for me which was 4 that sat upto 8 ppl. It was perfect b/c when I got there I had 1 friend waiting and then as we ordered food and drinks more ppl came through, and then some left and that was throughout the night. It was perfect. No waiting on opl not splitting bills just come enjoy buy what you want and leave when you want. The set up was EXACTLY what I wanted. SERVICE: Starting with the phone call to make the reservation Dante the GM was really nice an accommodating as I mentioned. I just hate I didnt get to meet him, b/c that day was his one day off. But nevertheless he had everything don't just the way i asked and I was grateful for his attentative nature. We had Yaz as our server and she was amazing to say the least! She was attentative and made sure everyone that came in was properly taking care of. She was personable and quite friendly which isn't that common these days. With everyone wanting a tip for bare minimal service it was refreshing to see someone who seemed to like her job and did it with ease and was on top of her game, so there for she deserved th3 tips she made from us that night. I didn't pay for anything (hence it being my bday), and I still tipped her. That's how good she was. And when I go back I will definitely ask for her section. The hist that checked us in, I believe his name was Mike. He was also very nice. There was a table next to pur high top tables and I asked if my mom could sit there and he said sure as long as they didn't need it, b/c my mom couldn't get up on the barstools that good. And so her and another friend's mom sat there. So worked out perfect AMBIANCE: The restaurant itself was really nice. I enjoyed every part. It was loud and the band was nice. At first on the appearance of the band I didn't know what to expect, but all in all they played a variety of really nice music and it wasn't over powering like they thought they were at a concert like most bands in restaurants. FOOD/DRINKS All I can day here was it was all soo very good. All of my friends were impressed and every person stated how they would have to come back b/c it was so nice. The drinks the food everything. I dont think Iate one thing I didn't like. Only thing I had that I mentioned to the server Yaz was that the octopus tail was a bit chewy amd that's it. The drinks were AMAZING. For me it is all about presentation and the had great presentation and tasted as good as they looked. One drink called the Good Time Girl was soo good and it came out with all these bubbles. It was amazing. They had a appetizer special 3 for $39 and me and a friend order 2 and so we tried 6 different things and it all was good. We had the calamari, grilled octopus tail, chicken wings, lettuce wraps, mussels, and oysters. It was ALL SOO YUMMY! We had a great time and it was perfect for how I wanted to celebrate. I would definitely come again hands down. The only downfall was that night the parking for 2 hours wasn't working properly so I parked on the street, but that wasn't the fault of the restaurant that was something with the garage I suppose.‍ So I definitely recommend this place. It's good for date night, hangout, drinks or a light bite. You won't be disappointed.

Nowhere to wait except standing there like idiots until bartender says we can sit in a reserved section for a bit. Nasty waitress comes by soon after to usher us away, despite conflicting instructions from the bar. Anyway, insult to injury when it appears I've been charged a service charge and a gratuity charge and the dishes were small and mostly not great. The wings were ok, but the grilled cheese was gross, the flatbread was minuscule, the cheese plate was meh. Overall, between the mostly rude to indifferent staff attitude, lack of seating, and poor quality of food this place deserves a pass. ,
