In town from NC for a concert 5/26. Hubby and I stayed at Hampton Inn for 2 nights. We didn't want to lose our parking spot and this restaurant was across the street. There's a kiosk at the entrance to place your order, which was easy to use. Hubs had steak quesadilla and I had chicken quesadilla. They have these awesome little table lights that put out a lot of light from the small dome top. I went straight to Amazon to find them. Pricy but cute. Anyway, we took our food back to hotel room to eat. It was delicious. The chicken was grilled and had the wonderful chargrilled taste to it. Same with the steak. They were served with sour cream, picante, and a spicy sauce on the side. It was so good, we went back again the next night after the concert and ordered the same thing. I also got a mango flavored drink which was yummy. Hubby got très leches both nights and said it was really good. This is a chain restaurant with locations only in Atlanta from what I found. . This restaurant would do well in CLT if they ever decide to franchise it. Would recommend. read more

We went on a Saturday night, and the place was hopping! Though it was busy and packed, we managed to get seated right away at a high top. We got the taco platter ($55), which came with 12 tacos. You pick 4 proteins, and you get 3 of each protein. We opted for beef barbacoa, al pastor, carnitas, and beef birria. We also ordered a side of cilantro rice ($3.99). The tacos were delicious. Our favorite by far was the al pastor, which had the most balanced flavors to us. We especially liked the pineapple chunks, which added a sweet and slightly tart moisture. The other tacos were great, though some were a bit on the salty side. However, the cilantro rice helped with the saltiness. Our server was friendly and quick with the water refills, but we did wait for some time for our food (understandable though, given how busy it was!). The restaurant has a lively, fun atmosphere, but it is pretty loud, so probably not the best place to have a super deep conversation over a meal. Also not the biggest fan of the QR codes for menus and payments (though they do bring paper menus upon request), especially since the QR payment method came with junk fees, making our bill more expensive than we expected. read more

Our server was pretty attentive despite how busy it was. Ordered fish tacos, guacamole, esquites, vegetarian tacos, a small quesadilla, and a tostada. Ordered a margarita for a drink. Most things were tasty, especially the guac and esquites. My least favorite was the tostada. It was so loaded, you couldn't eat it. Portions were good, and prices were great. Came here for lunch while in Atlanta. There's a parking garage beside it and you can get your parking validated. They have indoor and patio dining. It's a nice restaurant space with friendly staff. Real Tacos had a great vibe and some really solid food. I ordered the chicken tacos with rice and black beans, and the tacos were flavorful with a nice char on the meat. I've been on a bit of a Rreal Tacos kick lately thanks to a BOGO deal on Uber Eats, and after three orders in about two and a half weeks, it felt right to share a proper review. I usually go for the quesabirria, which is consistently solid, but the asada quesadillas deserve just as much attention. They're packed with generous, high-quality chunks of steak and melted cheese, and come with a trio of sauces that really elevate the meal. They're not clearly labeled on the menu, but one tastes like a creamy avocado-based sauce, another leans toward a deep red chipotle-style flavor, and the third is a burnt orange sauce with noticeable heat. All three are flavorful, but they definitely bring some spice. This last order, I also tried the tempura fish taco. I'll be honest--I'm usually hesitant with fish or even shrimp tacos because they tend to fall flat. This one surprised me. Wonderful taco spot within walking distance of our hotel. I really enjoyed everything I tried and the service was very friendly and food came out quickly. Prices were as expected for Buckhead, but I didn't feel like I was ripped off lol. The food was well worth the price and I will come back next time in town. There's indoor and outdoor seating and the outdoor seating has fans on the patio so it doesn't get too hot. Indoor has a variation of bar seating, high tops, and regular tables. I've never heard of the Rreal Tacos before so I guess you can tell that I'm new to the area. Once there, I overheard nearby customers raving about its popularity and specifically other locations. I love that this restaurant is located near my employer and there's parking readily available. I'd rather it not be paid parking and I forgot to ask whether or not they'll validate your ticket. There is indoor and outdoor seating. You can seat yourself at the bar, but you have to wait to be seated in the dining areas. I elected to sit the bar and try a couple of drinks since I was waiting on a friend, it didn't appear to be any wine available and it just didn't seem right to ask for a glass lol. It was a really chill and laid back environment. There was a bit of music playing which wasn't too loud and the Masters was being shown on the televisions. Overall, I loved how authentic and crispy the chips tasted. The pineapple drink and queso dip were a bit thick. I felt the queso dip should have had some a protein or jalapeños in it. The burrito bowl was delicious and of the three drinks I sampled, the strawberry margarita was by far my favorite. I plan on returning in the near future to try the nachos. read more

I frequent the Rreal Tacos brand often throughout the year along with my adult daughter. Whether it's for the extensive holiday decorations, a good drink, or great tacos and vibes. I've been wanting my mother to try the soft serve margaritas so we decided on Rreal Tacos. Upon arrival we were told it would be a wait for a table or we would be able to find seats at the bar. We proceeded to the bar. My daughter sat with her friend and my mother.I found a seat two chairs down. Before my daughter could order anything,...he stated she had to be 21 to sit at the bar. Which she is, and she replied: "I am, I'm 24, but I'm not ordering alcohol." Her informing him of her age and providing photo proof was not sufficient. Granted, she appears youthful for her age, but that did not entitle the bartender to then request that she move from the bar, although she was over 21 and not ordering alcohol, because he decided she didn't appear old enough. Stay with me ...she sat at the bar out of convenience, which we both have done countless times .Was informed of the age requirement, responded and provided proof, and was told she could not sit at the bar. He didn't stop there; we moved to avoid further confrontation and embarrassment. When the manager asked for his side of the story he told a complete lie and stated that she asked for alcohol when that was never discussed. Oliver, the manager, extended a free appetizer for the lie and humiliation at that point a trio was not going to salvage a night of unwarranted discrimination based on age and appearance. Food was really good here on Thursday 8/13/26. I had the taco special and my wife had the frozen Cadillac soft serve drink as well as the shredded chicken tacos. I had two Dos Equis beers - not on tap. Service was ok - we were at the bar as there was a 1/2 hour wait and we felt like not waiting. Never felt like I needed to hunt anyone down as they did good on anticipating my needs for napkins, sauces and light as is it got darker outside. Drinks: I had the pineapple guava margarita. Delicious, I'd get this again if they still offer it! Food: RReal nachos w/ chicken minus the beans. So delicious, especially with the red hot sauce. Everything came out hot, flavorful, and fresh. I love that rreal incorporates cheese throughout their nachos so it's not just all piled at the top. I definitely recommend a reservation if you plan to come in during busier times or with a large group. I have been to this location a handful of times but most recently I visited and they were doing their Christmas-thened pop-up bar. I liked how they went all out with the Christmas lights and holiday decorations throughout the restaurant. Though they srill had their regular menu offerings, there was also a special Christmas menu with specialty food and drink items available. I ordered the Beef Christmas Birria Taco which was described as a festive red corn tortilla filled with melted cheese, slow-cooked birria, onion, and cilantro (chicken was also an option instead of beef) and The Rudolph, which was their version of Coquito. Both items were tasty and enjoyable. Minus one star because in general the service was a bit lacking, but I would consider returning and trying other items since I enjoyed what I ordered. read more

The decor for Halloween was top tier. This place and all the staff really get into the spirit. A small and random thing I appreciate would be the tongs and tooth picks they utilize for garnish. I've seen many bartenders throw everything in with their hand or a glove that has touched much more than the fruit. The drinks were also mixed well. (Mocktails for me) How was the food? Good, I enjoyed a costra taco and the Abuela salad. For both, the meat choices seemed endless so I just went with what I knew. Al pastor for the taco and grilled chicken for the salad. If I ate this salad again I think I would remove the radish. It was a little dry and didn't complement the salad dressing. Staff? Amazing and attentive, Spanish too, which I personally loved. Parking? The angle for each parking spot will be shhhhharp. There were so many wheels out of place. But they validate for 3 hours so that is nice. The walk is also minimal. I like this little area if you're going on a date. But inside is small for a group of friends so just know you'll be packed in a little tight. Large group table options and the patio is more spacious than inside. Lastly be ready for tons of bells and sparkles going through the room. All and all I think I'll be back and I hope there is more holiday decor when I return. read more

I didn't have anything to drink but, I did try 3different tacos. Grilled Shrimp- shrimp was nicely done. Not overcooked. Slaw, onions and cilantro were on it. Nice flavor and a bite of crunch. Pork Belly- Came with onion and cilantro topping. Pork belly was crispy and juicy. Picahna-topped with chimicurri and pickled onion. Great flavor. Steak was deliciously seasoned and cooked. Chimi sauce was to die for! I'll say that each taco was nicely portioned for the price. I was stuffed eating all 3. But sad I for went the chips and salsa. It looked deelish. This is my third time trying Rreal Tacos and in truth, it only happened again in a moment of desperation. I ordered 4 tacos of various meat types and my sister ordered 2 shrimp tacos among other accoutrements (beans, chips & salsas, sauce, etc.). These items were to go (pick up). When we cracked upon the package at home, all the tacos were crammed into one box (see one photo, minus one of the shrimp tacos my sister snagged while I emailed the restaurant. You will also note there is only 3, not 4 meat tacos.) Perhaps for a typical person packaging the items in the same clamshell wouldnt be a problem, but I have severe anaphylactic reactions to shellfish, meaning I can't consume it, my food cant be cooked on the same unclean surface as it and it and cant be served touching it. I was really frustrated as it was well past 10PM on a weeknight and I was hungry. Plus, there was no way to notate specific allergies on their site. But even further, shellfish is one of the major FDA allergens so its really basic food safety not to place them together. I called Rreal tacos four times that night and was hung up on every single time. Not sure if theres something up with their phone, but I couldn't get in touch with them. I also emailed the restaurant the same night and have not received a response. I just would like a solution as I was unable to eat any of the meal due to their poor food handling practices. read more

Came to Atlanta for the fist time. This place was recommended by my valet guy where I am staying and boy did it not disappoint. We live right up the road from this taco joint, and we love walking up and hanging on the patio during nice weather and inside is just as great--they did a great job on sound absorption for those who struggle with sensory stimulation like myself. The atmosphere is always beyond what you expect, especially during the holidays--they go all out! Service is always solid, and extremely knowledgeable of their menu and special items--take their advice if you're curious about their cocktails and entrees! Their birria options are by far our favorite to indulge ourselves with, but we've ventured some outside of those and the seasonal specials have always spiked our taste buds. Sat at the bar and it was pretty empty because I came during the afternoon so it was pretty good. Only thing that I will note that sets to the part is the taco that they gave me. Now I go for the pork belly tacos because they are amazing! I don't know what it is about them but they are amazing. All I know was when they gave me the tacos I ordered, the chunks of pork were huge so you get larger portions of meat inside your taco. That really made me happy. As a California girl born and raised, I know good Mexican food. I ordered a Birria barbacoa taco and two grilled chicken tacos, and let me tell you, they were all incredible. Each taco was packed with flavor, and the meat was so moist--definitely not dry like at most taco places in Atlanta, where they often rely on toppings to compensate. The food was pretty good. Large portions and well seasons. The vibe, even on a Sunday night was interesting at best. It's a place to go for large drinks, decent tacos, and a bit more party atmosphere. Prices are a bit high but portion sizes make up for most of it. Service is nearly not existent given they were so busy, understaffed, or both. They only have QR menus, had to ask for silverware multiple times, and they never came back to provide us a check. Luckily they had a QR pay at the table, but they charge a 3% fee to use the pay by app "app service fee" and tried to calculate the tip based off the total with taxes vs the sub total, while suggesting a way too high of tips for a restraint (30% was the first default in pretty sure). No one should ever be charged to pay for the business application a restaurant used so customers can pay for their meal, especially when the service doesn't bring the check. read more
