Stopped in with family late Saturday afternoon. There were 4 of us total and we were seated and getting serviced within 5-7 minutes. I was serviced by Yvon for my 4 in 1 pedicure and she did a great job accommodating all my requests. I was a little nervous because I go to one person at my salon at home and I have an acrylic overlay on my big toes but they came out great. And the leg massage she gave me almost put me to sleep. Service was SNS Nails and Gel Pedicure It was my first time at Emily's Nail Salon. It was nice and clean. Both of the technicians were very nice and friendly. Just like other salons they charge for special nail shapes and more. I did find their prices comparable to other shops in the area. I usually go to another salon but they were closed. I gave Emily Nail a try and I'm really glad I did! I was greeted as soon as I entered the salon. They weren't too busy on a rainy morning. I was seated with a nail tech immediately. I asked for a full set with a natural color. I was shown three different options for colors, which I appreciated. My nails were a hot mess when I walked in and they did an amazing job that was fast but not at all rushed. The salon was very clean. My favorite part was that the full set and a generous tip was less than I would have paid just for the full set at the other place. I will absolutely go back to Emily Nail in the future. read more

I've been on the prowl for a nail salon with excellent estheticians as I've run into so many issues with various salons around Atlanta. I'd even drive the distance for one if I have to. I came across Emily and decided to take a chance as the reviews were mostly positive. I didn't have to make an appointment and was taken in right away for an SNS. It was pretty busy, so I was pretty pleased at the quick service. I wish I had gotten my estheticians name as he did a good job with my SNS. I absolutely love the color and shape, though he did file my nails down shorter than I wanted but I didn't make a fuss about that. My biggest issue with him was that he was quite aggressive when using the electric nail tool to buff and file my old SNS out. He ended up going over my skin and cuticles multiple times causing bleeding on one of my fingers and swelling on multiple (see pictures). He did apologize which was nice. It happens from time to time but I think it should be taught to be gentle when using those tools and have some self awareness on if you're grinding on someone's skin. I didn't feel the pain until after he was through and saw the bleeding. My cuticles are swollen and hurt much more today (the next day). I hope this review is seen and relayed to all the staff there and corrected for future customers. I'll give this place another chance and will be more aware next time as well. This was my second time getting my nails done at Emily's. The first time although I enjoyed my experience and my nails I felt they didn't last as long as I would've like. I decided to go back, because like I said...i did like my nails! This time I tried SNS instead of gel. I had SNS before and really wasn't sold on it, but decided to give it a try. So glad I did! Henry did a great job! I love my nails and he was so patient with me and my indecisiveness on color and nail shape! LOL. He did a great job! If I could give them a 0, I would. Me and my husband got the "Luxury Pedicure" and there was nothing LUXURY about it. No massages, wax left on my leg and in between my toes. They rushed everything. I even got my daughter's nails and toes painted for the FIRST time and they look horrible. They didn't talk to us. We were the only darker people of color and they just wanted us out. Don't worry. Allison and Jenny were both phenomenal and took great care of my mom and I. We came in just for pedicures, I got gel polish and my mom got regular. The lady originally doing my pedicure (Manic? Not sure how to spell her name) was awful. I told her three times I'm ticklish don't scrub my feet & the nail tech Allison also told her twice and she still continued to try and scrub my feet. Allison was great and promptly got me another nail tech who is named Jenny. Manic continued to make a scene yelling and getting all upset because another nail tech was taking over which was just embarrassing, but whatever. Overall still giving this place 5/5 stars because of Allison and Jenny. I would come back just for them. The vibe of the salon is also nice, clean, used sterile products. read more
