The variety is impressive, from savory breads to delicate desserts, and everything tastes fresh rather than overly sweet or heavy. Their sea salt coffee and specialty drinks are balanced and smooth, and the self-serve bakery layout makes it easy to browse without feeling rushed. I also appreciate how efficiently they package everything, especially when ordering multiple items. If you're looking for high-quality pastries and drinks that feel a step above typical chain bakeries, 85°C delivers every time.

I haven't redeemed any rewards in several months because I've been overseas, so I wasn't sure whether I simply scanned the code or if there was another step involved. Instead of explaining the process, he repeatedly pointed at the screen and said, it's right here. When I asked for clarification, he continued to respond the same way without actually explaining what I needed to do. His tone and mannerisms made me feel as though I was being treated like an inconvenience for asking a simple question. Not every customer is familiar with the app, and some may be using rewards for the first time. A little patience and clearer communication would have gone a long way. The experience was made more frustrating by the long wait beforehand. There were only two cashiers working and the customer ahead of me spent several minutes at the register asking questions. Another cashier was also helping a customer who needed additional assistance. While I understand that questions happen and employees do their best, waiting a considerable amount of time only to receive dismissive customer service was disappointing. Good customer service isn't just about completing a transaction--it's about helping customers understand the process and making them feel welcome. Unfortunately, that was not my experience during this visit.

Extremely friendly and solicitous folks. Stopped at the new Spring location twice and picked up…read moresome Indian-Pakistani sweets. The ladoos the first round were hard and inedible, with a funky taste. The other barfis (Mango and Walnut-based milk barfi) were tasty. Went back to notify them about the ladoos. They were incredibly gracious and substituted the ladoos with more of the other barfis at no cost. So as not to be a complete heel, decided to buy more sweets - besan laddoos, milk barfi, and dry jamun , and potato samosas. Unfortunately the besan laddoos did not taste good. The besan (chickpea flour) has not been sufficiently roasted and it tasted and smelled raw. That spoiled the taste of the whole sweet - inedible. The samosas were quite tasty. Apparently the sweets are transported to the Spring location from their Sugarland location where they are made. The inconsistency in taste and flavor have put me off anymore sweets from there. Willing to give the savories a try next time. Prices are not cheap - approx $14 for a pound of sweets (any type).

How did I not know this place existed…read more One thing I love about MoCity is all the gems that are just buried unsuspecting that will blow your mind. There is no billboard or web article acclaim - but when you step inside you are transported to warmth and love on 100. This place is no exception. Such a cozy feel, the baristas are so kind and accommodating, actually smiling - can you imagine that?! They genuinely take interest in you. Here is the set up. There are so many chairs and tables, it feels like you're in a massive well decorated living room. Ample space to spread out and work or study or read scripture. Speaking of reading scripture - if God made coffee on Day 6 it was because the two new humans made him exhausted. That's why he needed rest on Day 7 teeheehee. I had a matcha latte. It was wayyyy to sweet for me. Considering I do not have a single sweet tooth in my mouth and usually drink my matcha plain. They were kinda and gave me a coffee on the house with free refills. There are alot of pastries, I heard there were tacos, I will try those next time. Will I be back?... of course. This place was popping by 9 and I see why. They are doing something RIGHT!

I got there right at Saturday opening & a customer was already there studying/working. The brick wall and forest wall mural with indoor dim lighting gave a cool and chill cafe vibe. The employee was welcoming and friendly while I made my final order decision. I got the matcha latte with oat milk (vanilla syrup is used) & jalapeño sausage & cheese kolache. My friend got a Texas latte & sausage breakfast sandwich. My friend said the latte was energizing & the sandwich was perfectly filling. My matcha latte was little too sweet and creamy for me so I'll probably just need to make little adjustments for my preference next time like almond milk and less syrup. The kolache was a very good serving size and only wish I had a stronger jalapeño taste. We definitely need to come back for another visit soon!

I don't have to drive to Pinoy Corner in the Medical Center area to get delicious baked goods. This is super convenient to shop my favorite Filipino pastries and grocery at the same time. I spent average $25 each time shopping here. It has become a must go place for me. I particularly like the chicken Siopao and Ensaymada. I'm not a fan of ube. Because I could easily be overwhelmed with ube everything. Shopping here I have to start from the grocery store entrance to get the plate, tissue and tong first. On the other side is the baskets. The employees were friendly and everything is self serve. I would love to bring my friends here to show them around the store. I found Dubai Chocolate Croissant being the most exotic item because it has knafeh filling with chocolate coating. I couldn't eat it in my car but I have to eat it by the kitchen sink.
