Literally the best landscaping company we've ever hired. Hired them to replace our current gardener, whom I thought was pretty good. (Me, haha) I ended up having to be out of town the day they were scheduled, but Anthony from Eminent Landscaping went over everything they would be doing, and he assured me the requests I made, in addition to what he had mentioned would be completed. Wow is what I kept saying as I walked around the front and back yards when I got home. I have found my new gardeners. Trees trimmed, bushes trimmed, rocks raked, yard tidy - looked like a model-home yard. I'm going to have them take a look at our drip irrigation system next. They're licensed and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this company. read more

Wow! Amazing work! We got a flier on our door For this company and there was a "free estimate" option. So we called the phone number and Anthony came out the next morning to ask us what we were looking for. He emailed us the estimate that night and we were able to see a breakdown of the services and fees. We were able to uncheck the services we didn't want and approve the estimate that same evening. They came out to do the work right away. They even installed our irrigation system and showed us how to use it. I will be using them in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone in the valley. read more

I needed a one time clean up done within a few days. I called Eminent and spoke with Anthony who scheduled a time to come the next day and give me an estimate. He was very friendly, explained everything they would do and broke it all down for me. They did an excellent job with the yard! I was very pleased. I will definitely use Eminent again. read more

This company is horrible. They came out twice then completely ghosted us for no reason. We emailed and called and nothing. Do NOT go with them. No communication and will just drop you. No stars worth giving but had to put one to post unfortunately. read more

I'm not sure what happened with this company. They were fantastic. Then in the last several weeks they took a turn for the terrible. They missed appointments without giving any notice. They would not complete yard work. I had weeds growing up in the rocks around my yard. They were untouched one week. I called and asked them about it. They assured me they would take care of it on their next visit. Not only did they did they not spray the weeds, but went I called them on it they lied to my face about it and said it was done. So I gave it a few days and sure enough no dead or wilted leaves. I called back an no body answered. I left a message and nobody returned my call. After about 10 calls they finally answered the phone. I let them know they lied. They argued. I offered to take pictures of the weeds all around my property l, and they said, "Don't waste your time" and that we would just part ways. So, if you want terrible customer service, being lied to, and paying for partial work then this company is for you. If not, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. read more

My concern was that I felt the result was very different from what I hoped. I was disappointed. I hoped to have one of the nicest properties in the community, and instead I felt a little embarrassed. This is my fault, but I was out of the country for a couple of months while the company was doing the install, and I was too busy to give the project the careful thought that it required. After being in the house for one week, I decided that I was unhappy enough to be feel bad instead of happy about my new front and back yards. I decided to find another landscaper to totally redo the landscaping. I had seen the Desert Sage Landscaping truck several times over the past few months working on nicely landscaped properties (I rented a house in the community for 8 moths while they built my house). I liked what I saw. I talked with one of the guys and he took me to the owner, Miguel. I liked having the owner actively maintaining landscapes because that gave me confidence that he had a lot of practical, on the job experience with plants in our desert environment. I showed him my front and back yards and told him what I wanted done. I asked him about many plants that I liked and he told me what was good and what was bad. He was speaking from experience in maintaining so many properties. He gave me a plan within 24 hours and began a couple of days later. He and his crew spent about a week replacing the walkways and plants, and adding boulders, hills, irrigation, lights and many plants. The price was reasonable and the result is excellent. I now have one of the nicest landscaping in the community. Thank you, Miguel and your team at Desert Sage Landscaping.

Water from the pool or rain would flood the back patio. After thirty years of wear and tear in the backyard, the rocks and the dirt were sliding into the pool during rain or heavy pool days as well. The brickwork that was put in by the previous owners was not level. And I needed to be pulled up.They were able to level the ground and patio. Miguel installed a drain line and a French drain. This moves the water away from the house and gives it a place to go. He added a pony wall that serves as a bench and also a small retaining wall to help divert water away from the pool, and keep rocks from being kicked into the pool pair.He if we removed old brickwork and installed new bricks with a nice border to make it look seamless A nd inviting into the backyard, He refreshed our our ground covering rocks front and back. He moved some decorative boulders and also trimmed up the yard.And removed some bushes. He and his crew were on time. Communicated well and cleaned up after themselves. This is an unprofessional and dishonest business because:…read more - Sprayed weed killer when I specifically asked him not to - Did not complete the job with weed roots and debris still in my yard and when asked about it, he said that the chemicals would clear it in a couple of days and to call him if they were still there in 2 days - 2 days later when I texted him with pictures and he didn't respond - I'm glad I only paid him $125 of his $175 fee - Did not come on the first agreed upon date and had to reschedule Contacted Jorge on 2/24 to clear out weeds in my backyard that had overgrown and we agreed to Tuesday 3/3 afternoon for him to come. On 3/3, I reached out to him and he said he forgot to schedule me and had to reschedule me for 3/5. He quoted me $175 for: Weed removal Spray weed killer Blow out the debris Haul away everything I thought it was a lot but agreed to the price and told him that I didn't want chemicals sprayed. After he said he was done, I inspected and found weed roots still in the ground and debris everywhere. I asked him about it and he said the chemicals (that he wasn't supposed to spray) would kill everything and remove the debris. I was skeptical that the chemicals would magically clear away all the debris. He said to call him in 2 days if it didn't. I still had my doubts and asked for a $50 holdback in case the debris didn't go away. He countered with $25 and I knew then that if I called him, he simply wouldn't return my call. I stuck to the $50 and he agreed. 2 days later, the debris had not magically disappeared and I texted him with pictures to come back and finish the job, but he didn't respond as expected. Now, I have to clear the remaining weed roots and debris myself.

They did an extensive front area remodel --4100 square feet of pavers for a circular drive, re-designed the front hill by removing 20 tons of dirt and old plants, added a river bed, replaced all the granite, installed new lighting and watering system, added new plants, built stone accent walls and the list goes on. Once you give Sean a deposit and you agree on the work, he gives you a firm start and end date. Taking into account weather delays, the schedule is right on target. Our project encountered one entire week of rain but the crew worked through it (6 days a week, 7-5) and finished the project within only a few extra days from the original end date. The crew was timely, professional, pleasant and easy to deal with. If we ever had questions or needed to reach Sean, we received a return call, text or email within minutes. Having lived in Arizona for almost 50 years and dealing with many contractors, we can honestly say that Sean and Envirogreen Landscaping are the only contractors that we do not have one complaint to express. I interviewed several companies for our complete backyard remodel, and it was apparent from the beginning that Sean was the best. He came up with a creative design for our backyard that provided more privacy; an entertainment space with a bar, tv, fire pit; and an outdoor kitchen. He asks questions to understand what your needs are and how you envision yourself using your yard to come up with a 3-D rendering of your ideal space. Sean has an eye for design and thinks of the big picture and the small details. We had to wait several months for the crew to start, but in my mind that was a good sign that Envirogreen was well sought after. They were worth the wait! Envirogreen has their own crews, instead of a bunch of subcontractors. Their crew, led by Abraham, was punctual, reliable, and hardworking. They showed up 5-6 days a week and worked long days until our project was complete. This kind of work ethic and reliability is so rare these days. Sean communicated with us throughout the entire process and his insights allowed us to make some decisions to improve the original plan as needed (i.e.- installed one bigger propane tank to serve our smoker, grill, fire pit, and indoor stove instead of added another smaller one). Envirogreen does good quality work, and we are very happy with the results! When we are ready to have work done on our front yard, we will be calling Envirogreen again!
