Bright, cheery and comfortable. Friendly staff. I had the meatball sandwich. Not your average "meat loafy" stuff so many places call meatballs. This was fabulously flavored and had great texture. The bread was fresh. The slices of fresh mozzarella cheese completed the ample sized sandwich. My friend had the black bean soup. Very good. Servings were generous and very fairly priced. read more

I have had several take out meals (lunch and breakfast) here, and I really like the food. It's fresh and tasty...the real breakfast sandwiches (real egg, real bacon, yummy bread, cooked, not nuked), salad with real greens (no iceburg lettuce here) and tasty soups have not disappointed. Finally a place that doesn't cook home fries in oil. Thank you. My husband & I have had breakfast there twice and both times I've had an egg white omelet& he has had the blue plate special which is eggs, home fries, bacon & toast. The food come out very quickly and cooked perfectly. The coffee is pretty decent too. I work nearby so got a salad for lunch one day that was terrific & fairly large. Everything seems on the healthy side. The place is comfortable & much bigger than you would think. The staff is friendly & the owner is great. Looking forward to trying more things. read more

In a small orchard town west of Boston, we are fortunate to have delicious farm-to-table salads, soups, omelets, and panini. The espresso bar is such a treat. The cafe has a warm, family-friendly feel and Andrew and Stacey, the owners and their staff are always gracious, attentive and welcoming. Fresh flowers grace every table. You know it's really farm-to-table when you watch farmers carry in boxes of flowers and lettuce. I am a writer, and when my home office gets lonely, I head to Emma's for food, company and inspiration. I especially like the lobster sandwich and the vegetable panini. read more

What do you picture when you hear a place is "child friendly"? You certainly do not picture a place like Emma's. It is sophisticated, both in decor and in food selection. Yet at the same time it has a sizable area dedicated to toys, alongside a couch and a couple of armchairs. A place for adults and kids both - what a novel idea! read more

My go to spot for coffee and family breakfast outings. Kid friendly, great staff, and delicious food. Right next to dunkin donuts, for about $.50 more you can get a delicious coffee and service with a smile. I'd gladly pay that difference any day. read more

I had high hopes for Emma's after seeing that they were rated with 4 stars. I was , therefore, especially disappointed. Despite the fresh ingredients, my Florentine omelet wasn't seasoned and therefore had surprisingly little flavor. The home fries consisted of fried onions and peppers added to overcooked, mushy potatoes. They too were under-seasoned. Even the brand of coffee they serve is bland. That being said, my husband enjoyed his blueberry pancakes very much and the wait staff are friendly and courteous. read more

Wow, if I could give zero stars I would. I stopped in today with my daughter to pick up some to-go lunch. I ordered the Beef Stoup (yes, that's the spelling lol), and Italian Submarine sandwich, and a meatball sandwich. If I didn't live 20 minutes away I would have gone back and returned everything :( I don't know what soup they gave me, but it had no flavor at all, I mean zero taste. The veggies were still crunchy and I'm not sure what was up with the beef, but it was just gross. The "zero flavor broth" was almost congealed it was so thick. And it was luke warm at best. The meatball sandwich had a hamburger like pattie, again no seasonings that would make it taste like anything other than a beef pattie, with some tomato sauce and sliced fresh mozzarella. I'd like the fresh mozzarella on a different sandwich, but not this. I was really looking forward to going here, and now I know I never plan to go back. Big waste of money. read more

absolutely incredible. if i had to choose whether i could see my late great grand dog again or eat at emmas cafe i would eat at emmas cafe. i would sell my soul to Satan TM for a chance to have even the crusts of an emmas cafe pancake. love it here. some of my favs are the strawberry banana smoothie, any pancakes (pumpkin is my fave), and bagel sandys (sandwhiches) soo nice in there great music even fits my Avant Garde unique tastes. people see me in there so much they even recognize me and my Fathern. live music is sweet and makes me feel like someone really cares about me read more

Decided to stop here with the fam today. Upon walking in, the place is much bigger than it appears from the outside. It was very clean and the employees were nice enough. I had the italian panini and chose to add grilled chicken for $2 extra. My wife got the strawberry pancakes. The italian panini was good, however it says it includes basil and balsamic, I honestly couldn't taste much of either of those ingredients. I could tell the ingredients were fresh and it was otherwise tasty. Would rate the sandwich 7/10. My wife said she would rate the pancakes 7.5/10 and overall they were good. The kids each got a sandwich off the kids menu that came with apple slices. Both looked fresh and healthy. As i stated before the restaurant was clean, however it felt like a cafeteria due to the large dining area, bright lights and large counter next to the dining area. I wish they would have put as much effort into the rest of the dining area as they did the cool wood wall towards the front. The food itself was a good value and I appreciate that they source local fresh foods into their menu. Would recommend. read more

A friend and I met at Emma's for lunch today. Probably would not have noticed it tucked into this busy shopping center, but we were looking for a restaurant in Stow. I had the tuna melt Panini and my friend had a salad. They were very accommodating when I said I'd prefer a cheese other than Swiss on my sandwich. Service was prompt. You order at the counter, and they give you a number to put on your table ala the way Boston Chicken would do it. My friend liked her salad - we were told they use freshly made salad products - not bagged. Also that they buy their lettuce from a local farm which is great to hear. The place was very clean, and they have a nice sized private function room. I'd say they could do a little more to decorate the main room especially the front of the long kitchen counter, but they have not been open all that long. On a side note, the staff went WAY beyond the call of duty helping to retrieve something that my friend accidentally threw in the trash. So, if you are in Stow and looking for a place to try, give Emma's a try. read more
