After test driving we spoke with Mike & told him which car we selected. He asks "I take it you're paying cash?" I told him "no some down & financing the rest" he proceeds to tell me they don't do that there! Yet they have a finance calculator on their website!! Agggh! What's the purpose of that? After a bit he does say down the street AAA finances & ask me what's my credit like. Well I have very good credit but at this point I don't want anything to do with this place. I drove an hour to this place to learn that my money's not green here.!!

They sell cars with…read moreproblems, first off I bought a 2013 Honda Civic recently and on the same day I went to put gas because they didn't fill my tank gave it to me almost empty. So had to do that, and come to find out that while I was pumping the gas the gas was leaking and wetting the whole floor as I was pumping. I left the gas station and parked to see and saw a massive leak coming from the gas tank area underneath my car. I called and spoke with Dave he said to bring it in and they took care of that issue when I put them under pressure and demanded that they took care of it due to the fact that it was a safety hazard. So then he gave me a loaner blah blah blah. Fixed it the same day. I drove it off and then about a 2 weeks after buying the car cash, the unthinkable happens, driving from the beach the car in the middle of the road just shuts off and starts smoking up. Won't respond and it wasn't the battery AAA checked it and said it's engine issue, brought it to my local mechanic and was told that the dealer half assed a lot of the issues on the car. Said that they pretty much let a beginner take care of it. Which most of the mechanics there are not certified or have experience with fixing cars. So fixing that with my mechanic and NOW hopefully there won't be anymore issues. I won't buy again from this place, due to the fact that they don't care about their customers. They just care about the money and not the overall safety of their customers. Shitty place. Like I said, if I could give them no stars I would.

PHENOMENAL!! To say I was impressed with North Bay is an understatement! Let's start from the…read morebeginning. I have been looking for a cabriolet 2018 Audi S5 Cabriolet for at least a month, either they were sold by the time the dealer got to me or the price wasn't right. I saw that North Bay had a few on their lot(which is unheard of) and I contacted them about a particular S5 Premium Plus. It was after hours and they got back to me next day, and we began the process. From the pictures, the car looked immaculate, low miles, off lease and a fantastic price. As I work and live in NY and they are in CT, I was looking to do the deal online. I contacted many dealerships outside of my area that would only talk to me if I drove to their dealer, some as far as Virginia. Being out of state was no problem from the team at North Bay. Put in a credit app online and they went to work to make the deal work. My credit has some dings and this was going to be third vehicle that we financed. A lot of banks wanted us to trade in one of the vehicles but we were looking to have three, as my son needed a car and we were going to be gifting him one of the cars. I don't know what or how they did it, but they were able to not only find a bank willing to accept the terms but the rate was very agreeable. Gave me a call and email on a Saturday to tell me the deal was done. Again, like no dealer I have ever dealt with, they asked for no deposit and started to prep the car for pick up! They put the car through their shop, full check up, and even put on a set of BRAND NEW, HIGH END tires! We drove up to CT from Long Island, NY to pick up the car on a Saturday am. Since we purchased the car sight on seen, it was the first time being at the dealer and seeing the car. Timmy and the team immediately welcomed us, had the detailed car bought around with temp plates for us to drive before taking care of the paperwork! The car was beautifully detailed and in absolute phenomenal shape, it looked like it just came of the factory line. Timmy took us through the pay work, and it was seamless! No high pressure add on nonsense, just a small dealer fee(which wouldn't even cover the cost of new tires on this particular car) and we added GAP insurance. Less than 40 minutes, in and out with a beautiful S5 cabriolet! This place is what a car buying experience should be, especially with cars at this price point! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a late model luxury vehicle that is perfect condition, low miles, great price with ZERO HASSELE OR dealer BS! Timmy is a great dude and the rest of the guys in the office were also great! It's the happiest I've ever seen people watching me take the car home, it was awesome! GET HERE TO GET THE PERFECT CAR! I'll be back without a doubt!!

I'm writing this experience for two reasons:…read more 1. To inform you to always do your due diligence when making any purchase, but especially a large purchase. If I had shown up at this dealer in the morning to purchase this car and found this out in the moment, it would have been a problem. 2. To encourage car salespeople to 'do better'. I've met some great ones, but most of my experience has been disappointing. Dec 5th, 2025 North Bay Imports in East Windsor, CT and I recently settled on a price for a car, and they sent me a deal sheet. I sent North Bay Imports a deposit and they prepped the car for sale. Financing was in place, insurance for the car was acquired and an appointment was set to pick up the car. In the meantime, I had been in contact with Audi corporate and they, Audi, sent me the original window sticker for the car. When I looked at the original window sticker, the car options listed on North Bay Imports website and the original window sticker did not match. The option missing, that is listed on North Bay Imports website for the car I ordered is the AC charging package, and it is an $1,850 package. I immediately reached out to North Bay Imports to see where the mistake was. The next morning the Sales Manager, Steve Powers, leaves a message saying that, in fact, the mistake was theirs. In Steve's message to me when I pointed out the discrepancy he said, "It looks like the vehicle that we were on doesn't have charging ports on both sides, but it still has the same capability to charge on a level 1, level 2 or level 3 through that one port..." Steve, no it does not have the same capability because the AC charging option adds a 19.2kW AC onboard charger. Justin, the salesperson, swore it was a mistake and not deception so whoever is reading this will have to decide that for themselves. The comments made to me by Justin, after I told him that this was "stereotypical dealer B.S. (I said the entire word)", were, "...I'm glad you caught it because that would have been a bad trip for ya." He also said, "...I've been here for four years, this is the first time this has happened to me, generally it doesn't." Generally?? And then he says, "I didn't know, or we didn't know, that the, the second charging port was a sticking point for you..." Sticking Point? That's like saying that if they knew that a sunroof was important to me, we would have told me there wasn't a sunroof even though they advertised that the car had a sunroof. He was acting like this was my fault. Unbelievable. Assuming an $1,850 option isn't important to anyone shows the lack of care and accountability when it comes to listing their cars. And so, since we were supposed to pick this car up in less than 24 hours, I gave them the option of taking the cost of the missing option, in which they admitted was their mistake, off the price of the car or give us our $500 deposit back. Steve's response was, "We're not discounting the car." Discounting the car, he says? That's an interesting choice of words considering the almost $2,000 option missing from the car they were attempting to sell me. The one thing I can say is that they refunded me my deposit very quickly. Too bad they just wasted two weeks of my car search. This dealer is two hours away from our home, we rented a car, had our cashier's check in hand and ready to go. You know that feeling you have when you're about to get a new (new to us) car? North Bay Imports ruined that for us. The vehicle we were going to purchase was labeled "Sale Pending" on their website. The "Sale Pending" label was removed almost immediately after returning my deposit. But you know what still remains? Yup. The false and misleading information about the car is still on their website. (Screenshot taken on Dec 7th at 1:14pm. They were informed on Dec 5th 8am). Does this sound like a business that genuinely made a mistake? I can't tell you how much I DO NOT recommend North Bay Imports located in East Windsor, CT for your car buying needs.

My car was shipped from another location to this location. Took a cab to get there to get my car. The car looked great so it was a quick transaction. It had more blemishes than were described online but they were nothing major so I kept the car. The car also smelled a little like an overwhelming cleaner. It has dissipated now and it aired out and the car smells fine. It actually drives real smooth like a dream. I was REALLY worried because I see many bad reviews but also I see some good ones too. But still was worried. No issues really. None big enough that I had to go and return it or anything. The website does not take as many pictures of blemishes though. Probably why the cars are a good deal. And I got it without warranty. It had 7 days return warranty it came with and due to me wanting the more affordable deal I opted out of the extra mileage warranty. The reason was the warranty was only up to a certain amount of miles. But I would definitely buy another vehicle with Carvana.

I bought a car from them in November of 2025, expecting a wonderful experience. It was far from…read morethat. When I initially purchased the car I asked to add on the extended warranty. After the delivery was scheduled, I needed to change the time. When I called to change the time the team member also removed the extended warranty I requested and did not disclose the change. This will turn out to be a very expensive mistake on my part since I did not notice the warranty was removed. Back to initial experience- when I needed to change the time, Carvana then began changing my delivery date altogether. This occurred three times. Finally after my next day delivery being delayed 5 days the car arrived. The next day the car wouldn't start. Had to have it towed. Once the battery issue was fixed, I drove to a mechanic, now also hearing a weird noise coming from the fan. Turns out it was a serpentine chain that had to be replaced ($900). Had to get a rental for 3 days. A month after that, the mass air flow sensor failed. Had to have that replaced ($600). Another rental and tow charge. 6 weeks later same issue. Finally in March as I was on the Merritt parkway the car wouldn't get over 40mph. I finished my drive to NYC only for the car to die again. What do you know? Another mass air flow sensor issue. Most recently, July 17th the transmission went, in the middle of an intersection on a busy Friday morning. Turns out it needs a new transmission, which is $6,500 (have not replaced) Another rental another mechanic charge. So far besides the 421 a month payments for 8 months. Between payments and repairs I have put over 5700 dollars into this car. I have called Carvana multiple times now and they've offered me no help. I've reported them to the BBB but in reality, very little, if anything, will be done. I still owe $16,000 for this car. I inquired on selling it, I could get $2800 for the car if I don't replace the transmission, or $9800 if I do replace it. No way I'm keeping this piece of $hit car just for something else to break. So between the repairs, the payments, and the value of the car at this point- I'm at $13k+ loss for a car I've had for not even a year. Extremely frustrating and disappointing and I have no idea how I will pay for all of this. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from Carvana. They very obviously do not do appropriate checks of the cars before they sell them. Could you get lucky and get a great deal and a perfect car? Sure. Could you also end up just like me and I'm sure hundreds of others now back without a car and out 13k +repairs and rentals? Also yes. Go to a local dealership or Carmax or anywhere that will stand behind the cars they sell and have ethical business practices.
