I travel extensively for work, US & International, so making time to purchase a car the old fashion way (multiple trips to dealership/test drive at dealership/etc) and specifically for a car that was being introduced in 2026 was not an option for us, and the team at Lynch Toyota - From JR (Client Advisor); Clayton (Online Support), and Jonathan (Finance) made it happen from start to finish and even Adrian at the dealership front desk made today's car pick up process a breeze. We have been a long time Subaru family nationwide, so deciding to purchase the new "2026 Toyota RAV4 PHEV Woodland" was a big family discussion topic with lots and lots of questions that always started with Why? For us, long SUV PHEVs total range with high electric range and solid reliability in harsh winter/snow climates were key in narrowing down the possible car options and the 2026 RAV4 PHEV Woodland was far and above all the rest that we looked at. After deciding on the car, then we looked at the nearby dealership reviews and reached out with simple questions to a couple of them with the highest customer ratings, and it was at this point that the quick follow up by the Lynch Toyota team helped to make up our mind early on. We started our search process in November 2025, and knew the car was coming, but that it would not likely be here until May or June 2026, but with the help of the Lynch Team - we configured the car specs and they kept us informed along the way on the progress of deliveries - they found the exact configuration we wanted; reached out, and we put our deposit on the car. They also shared the various financing options and financial partner options, and gave us the latitude to make our own decisions each step of the way. The last challenge we faced was that I was again heading on the road overseas, and while the car was in the US - it did not make it to the dealership before my departure - it actually made it the day after I had to leave, but they made sure to hold the car for the 4 weeks I was away, and while it was also the only Woodland in stock - they did not abuse the car with multiple test-drives for potential customers and we very much appreciated that. Today at pick-up, we did not have a lot of time and they had all the paperwork ready to go by the time we got there, but Jonathan (finance) was on time for our appointment and took the time to explain each of the documents i was signing and all the warranties, and JR (Client Advisor) went thru each of the many new great features that this model is introducing - many of which I was not aware off/even after doing all our research - so very much apprecitated, and Adrian (Dealership Front Desk) even gave us a tour of where we would be coming back for oil changes and any service we may need. Bottomline, fron online to pick up - this was an excellent, knowledgeable and accomodating team that you will not go wrong with in purchasing your new car - specially, if your time is limited. read more

A few years ago I had to bring our Toyota Tundra multiple times to get the air pump completely fixed. I'm happy to say that today they went above and beyond! I brought my Highlander in yesterday with an over-heating issue. They determined a new water pump was needed, as well as new shocks and struts. They also checked my extended warranty (without my having to ask) and determined everything was covered. I can't thank them enough!!! read more

I wanted to share my recent positive experience buying a 2021 Camry Hybrid with Lynch Toyota. We stopped into the dealership to look at Camry's. I was pretty specific on what I was searching for from the start. My first welcome to the dealership was from Margarita. She was an energetic sales lady that welcomed my girl and me into the showroom! Within minutes, we determined that the car I was looking for they didn't have on the lot and it would have to be ordered. I asked for a quote on a vehicle, and without wasting time Margarita hand wrote out a quote. The process was super transparent and direct--no runaround. This by-the-way was precisely what I was looking for. We left the dealership, and about a week later, I called Margarita and said, let's order the car. The car's pricing was transparent, and she was very open about the challenges with the current car market. She also was realistic regarding when I could expect to take delivery. Margarita was super helpful throughout the process, providing continuous updates on where things were in the process and what would happen next. Then, finally, the car came in, and she even texted me some pics of the new vehicle! It looked great! I showed up to take delivery, and Julie, finance manager, helped explain the financial options in clear, simple terms. Although I'm a bit old school--using my HP12C financial calculator--I appreciated her entertaining me while I pecked in number after number. Within minutes we had all the financials agreed and quickly signed the necessary documents. The car was registered, and the plates were added. Margarita also took time to walk me through the entire vehicle, including an overview of the trunk, spare, and locking features to the electronics inside. We even set up the next-gen Toyota app on my iPhone--which is super cool, BTW. I probably went to 5 or 6 dealers before I decided to buy a car from Margarita, who was friendly, direct, and super helpful! It was so refreshing to have such a seamless and pleasurable experience buying a car. If you're in the market for a car, stop looking around and get to Lynch Toyota. DO NOT get Mikael as your service advisor. My first two experiences at Lynch were great since I had a more senior advisor who was professional, charged me correctly, etc., but that was not the case with Mikael. Although women always have to watch out for sexist overcharging when having their cars serviced, this man charged me $94 for an oil change on a 2010 vehicle for which I have never paid over $80. When I told him this, he replied smugly that prices are rising everywhere. I saw the female service provider next to him was noticeably surprised at this price, a clear indicator to me that this was an overcharge. His overall demeanor was unprofessional since the moment I arrived and I waited outside. I initially thought that people inside were busy, but then once I finally got in, I realized that I was waiting there for 10 minutes because he was on his phone (not taking a call on the work phone, checking his cell phone). He clearly lacked knowledge about cars since when asked why I needed the laundry list of additional unnecessary spark plugs, brake pad and other repairs, he couldn't even tell me why I needed them. Later, when he reviewed the purchase and checked me out, he admitted that leaving the spark plugs as they were would probably not pose any sizable risk, and brake pads that I supposedly needed could go another 5-10,000 miles which is at least another oil change. I think he was hired in a hurry since last time I was at Lynch they asked if I wanted a job as a service advisor and/or if any of my friends were looking for work‍. Ultimately, this was the only poor experience I've had at Lynch so I would use their services again, but request to not have Mikael. read more

What I know is that I see their parking lot with no or very few new cars and never see people bringing their business there. I think the word is out and people avoid them like the plague. I had tires mounted on my truck by @lynchtoyota. These were specialty tire I purchased online since they could not get them. They mounted and balanced them. As I got on the highway to go home, I felt a vibration both in my wheel and seat. I called them about a week later and made an appointment to come back in to have them check them and re-balance them. So far not horrible even though I had to go back but hey, mistakes happen. I took 2 work meeting while sitting waiting for my truck and after 2 HOURS I went and asked what was going on with my truck. The service woman handed me my keys and said, "you are all set. they took your truck for a ride and couldn't feel the vibration so you are all set" I asked "so they didn't check the balancing? "2 hours and all they did was drive it"? She asked if I wanted to talk to the mechanic but I said no since I had to get to another appointment. Here is where it goes from really bad to horrible! I entered a complaint on their website since I am so busy and was really ticked and my truck was still not fixed after 2 appointments and 3 hours of my time. I got a response back from "the internet manager" saying all the things that sound good like "I'm sorry" and how great their service is etc etc....ending with "you should contact our service manager and here is his #". I responded with...."could you not have forwarded him my complaint or get it to the correct person" NO RESPONSE!!! I then emailed the service manager the same cmplaint. NO RESPONSE!!! In the midst of all this, I now start getting daily emails from "the internet manager" about all their sales and special pricing. I actually responded to one of them saying "I filed a complaint and all that happens is I got added to your mailing list?" NO RESPONSE!!! Make a long story a little longer....I took my truck to another dealer, paid for the same service again, and guess what.....vibration went away. @lynchtoyota took my $100 and lost a customer. Imagine purchasing a vehicle where the price increased from $34k to $40k because the dealership doesn't follow up with you or answer your calls for 1.5 yrs. Imagine you are paying more also because the dealership kept adding features that you declined numerous times. Imagine you purchase the vehicle so that your elderly mother can drive it. A woman named Julie gravitates to my mother's driver's license with a disgusted look on her face. Then out loud says, "Is that a Puerto Rico license?" "It's not legal". She then states out loud "Do you even drive with auto insurance in Puerto Rico!" Lynch employs a colonizer mentally it appears and very ignorant culture. There are many other things that have gone wrong with Lynch. They do not seem to understand the problem when I presented them with the issue. A driver's license is a valid driver's license no matter where it's from. To imply Puerto Rican's do not have auto insurance, to drive without auto insurance and that a Puerto Rican license is not valid is quite disgusting. The fact they see nothing wrong is more disgusting. The owner Mr. Lynch did personally call me to apologize, which was nice, except for the fact that he still did not understand what was wrong and what went wrong. read more

I was told my car would be arriving in May so I agreed to place the order However when I spoke to Steve on phone, he said it would be built in May and I would not get it until June. That was not agreed upon when I left deposit. And of couse I tried to get my money back but apparently they are so desperate for money they refused to return it to me even though I was misled. I have been a loyal customer for 20 years. DO NOT lease a car from Toyota. The contract states this - "You may not change or stop your monthly payments for any reason, even if the vehicle is non-operative." I must continue paying the last 4 months of my lease even though I can't drive the car. They are unable to fix the damage to my car because a part is back-ordered. It won't be in until after my lease has expired. And, they have no car to loan me in the meantime. read more

I paid 31995 a little high. I hate this car so I wanted to trade back for my old car which is still there. They offered me 26000. A 6000 dollars loss in 6 weeks. Wow !! and no discount on the purchase of my old car. It would be a loss of 10000 dollars to get back into my old car. went to test drive a 2016 Subaru Forrester XT that had a clean car fax. when I showed up, within a minute I could tell the car had been in a front end collision due to the pushed up hood and front quarter panel. upon further inspection when I popped the hood, the freaking driver side headlight brackets were completely destroyed. mind you- this was AFTER the salesman proceeded to tell me this car went through a safety inspection. just what exactly did the mechanic look at?? then, i hop in the car, the windshield is cracked. no one looked at this car. it was thrown on the lot with zero regards for whoever would buy it. very disheartening, but what do you expect from dealerships these days? always keep your guard up with these dealerships and don't believe a word that comes out of anyone's mouth. read more

I brought my car in for a VSC alert signal. After waiting 3 days for a replacement part , with a $750 service estimate, which they quoted after doing a diagnostic test. They did a "2nd" test today. I brought it to the Service Managers attention he said it looked suspicious ! I explained Lynch Toyota is the only place that has touched my Car to rotate my Tires and change oil, and he did NOTHING to make it right ! He can see all my Service Records. I brought my FJ Cruiser in today for a parking brake repair, which is an admittedly miserable task. I also asked them to replace a rotor while in there. After a few hours, they called to inform me that the frame was so rotted, and brake backing plate so warped, that the vehicle was unsafe and not worth repairing. Incidentally, I had the FJ up on a lift the previous day to look at the brake situation; the frame was and is perfectly solid, and backing plate fit for use. Lynch Service simply didn't want to do the job, wouldn't admit to that fact, and charged me $150 to essentially call my otherwise fine vehicle a piece of junk. They couldn't even be bothered to replace the rotor, a simple 10-minute job. To be fair, they "managed to get the wheel back on and rolling." Gee, thanks. After I paid the invoice, the cashier pointed vaguely to the parking lot and said "it's over to the right somewhere." Indeed it was, about 150 yards away. Terrible business. read more

Because I decided to lease with a different dealership, I have been charged with the installation of a Remote Starter in a car I am NOT leasing / buying!!! Their excuse is that they are concerned that no one else will want a Remote Starter on their new Toyota RAV4 - in New England no less!!! And as a further 'kicker' they will end up charging whoever leases / buys that same RAV4 for the Remote Starter; thereby, committing fraud by charging both of us for the installation of the same option!! I might see charging me for the installation of an option that was uncommon and therefore, difficult to 'sell' (for example, adding custom paint), but we live in New England, and I would estimate that more than 75% (conservatively) of people buying / leasing new, 2018 vehicles want a Remote Starter!! Came in for an oil change and tire rotation. The prices were very fair as there was a service promotion going on at the time. From the moment I drove up to the garage bay and dropped off my car, all the staff I interacted with were diligent and courteous (especially Wayne). The waiting room was clean and comfortable. The actual service time was pretty close to the estimate I was given. I plan on coming back to service my car here in the future. Hopefully this experience will be repeated. read more

*****BEWARE OF LYNCH TOYOTA SERVICE DEPARTMENT*** This place is the biggest SCAM going! I brought my 2015 RAV4 in for service 2 days after the check engine light went on. I asked for an oil change and for them to test the battery because the car had a hard start. The car was there from 7:30-4:30. I guess I needed a new battery because they installed one without my permission. However, they neglected to clean off any of the corrosion on the battery tray and clamps. They literally just put the battery in and took no care to clean up. that cost me $361.00. When i arrived to pick it up the l was showed a CODE from the computer and they told me the code meant I needed a new "CRANK sensor. I said fine and they ordered the part. I brought the car back in 3 days later to have the CRANK sensor replaced. They had the car all day. Stephanie Diaz the assistant service coordinator called me in the afternoon and said they put in the sensor but couldn't clear the code and check engine light. She told me the car needed a NEW ENGINE and quoted me $8900.00. I was in shock! I purchased this car there and only ever had it serviced there. Something felt wrong. I went down to pick up the car and Kevin Fitzgerald and Stephanie both reiterated the same thing about a new engine. I asked to see the quote for the engine and the labor. They quoted me $2500.00 for a USED ENGINE with 63K miles and 3500.00 for LABOR. SIMPLE Math $6,000.00 plus tax and some small parts totalling $6700.00. Disgusting that an assistant service manager can complete simple 4 digit math!!! Both Kevin and Stephanie looked at me and were adamant that I needed to buy the USED engine. I told them that something felt wrong and that I needed to think about it and they BOTH told me that maybe I should get a second opinion! WHAT?????? you are the dealership Im trusting that what you are recommending is the correct diagnosis. Paid the bill $301.00. I took the car the next day to JARVIS AUTOMOTIVE in South Windsor for a second opinion. Lester called me and said that the computer showed the same code that Lynch came up with BUT the tech who used the computer WROTE DOWN THE WRONG DIAGNOSIS FOR THAT CODE! the car needed a "CAM SHAFT SENSOR" and NOT a crank sensor. Lester from Jarvis Automotive put in the CORRECT sensor, took pictures of the problem, wrote me up a testimonial, printed out the code and the code explanation, and even offered to call Lynch Toyota if I needed help getting my money back. I went directly to Lynch Toyota and presented my case. I asked for ALL of the money I spent back. Stephanie Diaz was shocked and didn't know how to handle or resolve the situation. She told me that she would leave everything for Kevin Fitzgerald (service manager) I told her that I wanted a meeting the next day to resolve this. Kevin called me the next morning and I explained that I wanted my money back for both Toyota visits and that I wanted the money back for what I paid to Jarvis Automotive. He had to make some calls but I did get $875 returned to my credit card. However, they really DID NOT CARE that they had made a mistake or inconvenienced me. THIS DEALERSHIP IS DISGUSTING and the work is shotty - if you really even need the work done. They are DISHONEST AND JUST OUT TO RIP CUSTOMERS OFF! DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE TO BE SERVICED!!! THEY ARE CROOKS! Find a local, honest, reliable auto shop and give them the business. Lynch Toyota does not care about their customers nor do they know simple math or how to read computer codes. **Not considerate of customer time or money. The person I normally deal with wasn't there so I feel like I got the runaround. First Told no more than an hour. I was there for an hour and a half before my car was parked outside and paperwork still wasn't done yet. Then i'm being told my initial paperwork from when I came in the first time to do my oil consumption test is missing so I had to redo the mileage. After getting angry that I wasted my time and money driving this car around to do this mileage (which is more driving than I normally do in a small period of time) the service writer grabbed a management person of some sort. I was explaining to this person what type of info I needed as well as some explanation of why my paperwork was missing. He then said "I just printed one off from before" which doesn't make sense if it's something so "technical" they have to fill out this vigorous paperwork, how can they just do it again out of thin air with the first one missing??? I feel like a scam is going on here. They give you little to no info, they don't let you confirm or look at the oil or level. At this point the management person said to me that nothing has changed and they're denying the work. All of this and the management person didn't even answer my beginning questions about the service. Your management personnel needs a little help. Not to mention he was stumbling over his words and looked like he needed his mom there with him to talk to me, which made it even more suspect that some really sketchy stuff is going on here. 0/5 stars. Crap customer service on this visit. Didn't say anything/apologize about being 30 mins + offer when they said it was going to be done (who knows how much longer it would've took if I didn't go and ask about it). Very inconsiderate of my time. Also when asked what about all the time and money on gas I spent doing all these miles when they're denying the claim without the first initial paperwork, got a blank coward like stare. If you find yourself in the service department, hopefully you have the opportunity to deal with Danny. I brought my Wife's RAV4 in for some factory recall repairs and Danny made my experience very pleasant. I was skeptical at first when no one in the service department seemed eager to help, but Danny came around the corner with the first smile I saw since entering the garage. He made sure to explain everything to me in an understandable manner and completed both the intake and pick-up process in no time. If it were up to me, Danny would receive twice the pay of anyone else behind those desks. The only thing I got from the other employees were dirty looks and bad attitudes. The company shouldn't overlook the great attitude and friendly service that Danny brings to their staff. I'm leaving 3 stars instead of 5 because the rest of the service staff was rude and the tech that worked on my wife's car not only broke my son's Mickey Mouse sunglasses when removing his car seat, but also installed the left and right rear seat cushion panels (seat frame covers) with zip-ties instead of the listed factory clips on the recall order paperwork. DECEPTIVE PRACTICES at Lynch Service Department. As a previous reviewer has stated; Lynch service department will lie straight to your face and try to give you a run around to justify their deceptive business practices. Attn: DANNY - Service Department Manager! In April, I purchased 4 new tires from Lynch. I was told I was "squeezed in" and that they had the tires there already. In the 3 years I have owned my Rav 4, the tire sensor light had never come on. Almost immediately after they put the tires on, the tire sensor light kept coming on. I brought my car in and they shut it off, saying if it comes on again, there is a problem with the tires. Well, it came on again, and low and behold - they found a nail in my brand new tire! (what are the chances?) I never believed they gave me 4 new tires and here they are having to replace one in less than a month? Thankfully, they replaced it for $20, the cost of mounting it. In early August, my Maintenance Required light was on, so my husband brought it in for service. Everything was fine...except the tire sensor light! The service manager, Danny explained to my husband that one of the sensor's batteries needed to be replaced to the tune of $230+! (It's a $25 part, with labor, but still..) When my husband drove the car into Lynch service, the tire sensor light was NOT on. When he drove the car out of Lynch service, the tire sensor light WAS on! I called today to ask Danny what was going on with my tire sensor light, to see if he could clarify for me how it wasn't on and after they looked at the car it went on???? He gave me the run around like this: "Maybe you have a nail in your tire!" "Maybe the weather is doing it to your tires!" WHAT??? Didn't remember a thing about what he told my husband. It was like he suddenly got amnesia! He wanted me to bring the car in again, which I did. He checked the tire pressure and it was fine. Then he wanted me to wait another half hour or so to check the tire sensors again! WHAT? After my husband just spent over 2 hours there on Saturday? You told him what it was, now you don't know? ATTN: Mike Lynch: what kind of a place are your running there? We bought our RAV 4 at Lynch, have had it serviced there since buying (3 years) even oil changes. No more. How can we? We can't trust the service department. They lie, outright lie to your face. I believe they damaged the tire sensor and don't want to own up to it. I also don't believe we were sold 4 brand new tires. None of this has added up. We thought it was wise to keep everything at the dealership and faithfully take it where we bought it, for service. We can see we were sadly mistaken. You have been warned. Excellent service by JR salesperson couldn't get any better

Prices were more than 1.5 times as advertised. Plus sucky services. Wasted my whole afternoon out of which mostly I waited by myself on chair and test drove a camry for 15 minutes. They didn't have the car I needed. All for a fat bald guy come up to me and ask "What are you an Aggie!?(because of my texas license)", "Give me a key number!!" etc etc. As I heard later, I am not the only one who got pissed here. My first ever toyota dealership visit, not a good impression. Thanks but no thanks. Not recommended. read more
