Had my first experience today with Empire after reading so many glowing reviews, and I can certainly see why they get the praise they do! Everyone there couldn't have been more awesome! I am super particular when it comes to my vehicles (make that "obsessive") and always want the best for them when it comes to service and how they are cared for. Empire was very accommodating with my desire to use my preferred fluids of choice (Amsoil) and provide them myself. Chris was also very helpful in getting my vehicle in and out in a timely manner and it was ready right when he said it would be. Everyone in their office was so nice and pleasant to deal with (particularly Gabby) and I had such a good feeling with the entire experience even as a first time customer. I felt like my car was in very good hands and I will absolutely be coming back as a repeat customer in the future. The pricing was also incredibly reasonable for what I had done! I'm very fortunate that their shop is within about a 2 minute walk of my house, so it makes a great thing even better when you feel you have an honest and dependable "neighborhood" mechanic. Simply put, their honesty and integrity saved us several thousand dollars on a transmission replacement for a truck we have only owned for a couple of months. Our son's Ram 2500 diesel was having transmission problems and we took it to Empire Automotive on a Thursday for diagnostics. Chris called me the next morning to let me know the transmission was in fact toast and would need replacement. However, he had good news for us. He saw a warranty sticker on the transmission and called the company and found out the transmission was still under warranty. The transmission company sent out a replacement transmission free of charge and helped cover the cost of the installation. Chris installed the new transmission and made sure it was all dialed in by the following Wednesday. I was only charged for the diagnostic and installation of the transmission, which was very reasonably priced and I will get reimbursed for a big chunk of it from the transmission company to boot. I appreciate their honesty and integrity with their customers, and I never felt like they were trying to pad their profits. Just good folks looking out for their customers. They could have just as easily ignored the sticker, like I'm sure occurs more than we know at other garages, and charged us for a transmission as well, since we had no idea the transmission had a warranty when we bought it. They have certainly won my trust and I will not hesitate to take my vehicles there going forward. The entire staff is friendly, honest, and knowledgeable and their turn around time was much quicker than expected. Based on my experience, I absolutely recommend them to anybody! read more

Seriously amazing service!! I was referred here by another auto place in the area that couldn't fix what I needed - an oil leak in my car. The team at Empire welcomed me and got me set with an appointment the next day! During my service time, I relaxed in the comfy waiting room with tons of snacks and amenities. The man helping me - who I believe may be the owner? - was so attentive and explained what they were doing at each step. He called me by name each time he had info to report back, and got my car all fixed up in just a few hours. I recently used Empire automotive for an oil leak that I had on my Chevrolet Tahoe. I also had an O2 sensor that need to be replaced. All the people who helped me out were fantastic, they got my Tahoe up on the rack and back to me in a few hours. Empire was accommodating, professional and fast. I was having battery issues with my Chevrolet Tahoe and they immediately made time for me to bring it in, even though it was near the end of the day. Scott at the front desk was really helpful and made sure that I was seen quickly. As soon as I arrived they started diagnosing the problem, and had a solution for me within an hour (due to a need to test the battery). Turned out that we needed to replace the battery. Chris (the mechanic) discussed my options and installed the new decca (sp?) battery within 20 minutes. I would absolutely recommend empire to anyone with car trouble.
