I purchase a Lifetime Alignment from Firestone/Wheel Works whenever I purchase a new vehicle. Bring it in every year. Last time I brought in my Ford Escape AWD Titanium 2.0T I was told they could not align my vehicle and that I needed a sub frame adjustment. No accident. No major pot holes. Non off-road. Since I just purchased 4 new tires from Costco I wanted to keep things aligned and good. I asked around friends in Petaluma and Accu-Line Brake & Wheel came up unanimously! Couple that with outstanding Yelp reviews and I made an appointment. I dropped it off, mentioning what the Wheel Works guys said. An hour or so later I get a call saying to pick up my Escape. Yay!! When I speak to the guys, and they are all great, they said no problems. I again mention what was told to me by the "other guys" and they couldn't say why. Handed me my before and after spec sheet. Terrible customer service. My first experience with Accu-line was good but my second was terrible. I was having trouble with my tire that they patched twice and so I called to see if they would take a second look without charging me. I was only asking if they would so I could decide whether I wanted to used them again or start fresh with someone else. To be clear I was not insisting on it, I was just asking and the person on the phone started, literally, yelling at me about how they needed to get paid. I tried to explain that they had already patched the tire twice, the last time a week ago, and I was happy to pay for a new puncture but if they did not think I should have to pay if it was not repaired properly and after a lot of back and forth he said fine, and then hung up on me. read more

I made an appointment for 8:00 a.m. thinking my SUV would be serviced first. Unknown to me, there were two vehicles ahead of me. Accu-Line provided a loaner car. Three days later, my vehicle was done. Throughout the process, I received phone calls updating me on work done, and other work that was needed. I would recommend this shop to anyone. This shop is excellent. It's not a chain and you deal with the owner and his crew. They are very very professional and do thorough, complete work! They were able to determine the problem with my steering and front end. While test driving Steve (owner) heard a rattle coming from rear end. Being a great detective, he was able to discover that it was a connecting arm in rear ended that was totally loose and missing a bolt. After a couple hours they called me and let me know that they didn't find anything. That shows trustworthiness, honesty, and many more qualities that don't need to be said. My 2014 BMW has been sitting in my parents' driveway for 2.5 years (live in SF, didn't need a car) and it was time to bring it out of retirement. This is a great one man shop. With all the rain we have had there are tons of potholes here in the Petaluma area, Petaluma already rated as having the worst streets in the Bay Area. Well, my car started acting wonky. I took into Craig to have an alignment done, which would have cost $99. Craig said we ought to take a test drive to see if that is really what the car needed, which we did. He determined that the alignment was not the issue. It was a wheel problem, he fixed it. We took another test drive, charged me $20. Bottom line is, he could have done the alignment as I requested and made $99, but he spent about the same amount of time sorting out the wheel problem and only make $20. I only want to YELP when I'm ecstatic or furious. B/c of Steven - I'm ECSTATIC! In a nutshell, one week ago my vehicle behaved as though it was possessed. The lights kept going on and off, my alarm started screaming intermittently and I don't believe the gas light was even working. I called numerous shops that hemmed and hawed that they would 'try to fit me in, is it really important'? I'm not a professional but I believe that it's pretty important that my electric panel not drown by what appeared to be a leak in either my door or my sunroof aka rainroof. Thank goodness for Steven, he told me that it sounded like I should bring it right down and he'd fit me in. He made the time to look over my vehicle and communicated what may happen depending on what he found. I had a check engine light on and a friend told me this auto repair shop could help. The name Accu-line Brake & Wheel is just a name it turns out they can do almost all general automotive repair. So they put a tool on my car no coast and found a code in the computer. Turns out I had left my gas cap off they orderd a factory one for me and put it on for the cost of th cap. Check engine light did not come back. All of the employees where very friendly and explained everything so I could understand.
