Food: 7.5/10 Service: 6.8/10 Ambiance: 9/10 Perfect grab & go spot for lunch! They're primarily a baking company so there aren't many breakfast items other than pastries & bagels. Lunch items are great because they're paired nicely with healthy choices and will get you full!! The appearance is fresh... yet some items are processed and have additives. Read labels :). The service is decent. Unfortunately there are two ladies in particular that I've repeatedly experienced negative attitude and ingenuity from. Other younger girls are nicer. Cute place, cold atmosphere (in regards to some of the workers--unfortunately I think one is the manager/owner)

Wonderful family owned bakery. Made from scratch hearty breads, delicious cookies and baked goods. Fabulous seasonal baked treats, including Kings Cake and Chocolate Babka. A well stocked pantry of artisan jams, spreads, salads, and, wooden serving platters. There are also already made sandwiches to go. Friendly is the staff. On my rotation of a monthly visit along with my other favorite Big D's bakeries! CHEERS!

We stopped n for a quick snack while waiting for Rise No1 to open. I ordered a rugelach - which was one of the better ones I have eaten that was not home-made. I went back in to order a 2nd one for a snack later in the day.

Decided to try this place for our very first time today.. We walked in about 12pm, we weren't initially greeted. I had to sarcastically say "good morning" in my best CSR voice to be acknowledged, to be promptly ignored again. We were sort of standing around waiting for one of the 2 ladies at checkout to help us. So, again I had to initiate conversation with the older lady. We ordered the butter and chocolate crossaints, and a sticky bun which was very hard even after microwaving. The total came out to 24 dollars for the pastries, bad service was free of charge, I guess.

I rarely leave reviews , in fact, this may be my first one, but this experience was so negative…read morethat I feel compelled to share it. I ordered two sandwiches through the DoorDash app for pickup. The app clearly stated that the sandwiches came with chips and potato salad, which is why I chose that option instead of ordering a different special. When I arrived at the restaurant, I still had to wait in line before reaching the cashier. When I finally got to the counter, she handed me my sandwiches and then told me that I had ordered chips and potato salad but had not paid for them. I calmly explained that the app showed those items as included with the sandwich. Instead of resolving the situation professionally, she told me she needed to call the owner. She then had me step aside while she helped three other customers, leaving me waiting awkwardly off to the side. When the owner finally called her back, she spoke to him loudly (almost argumentatively) about me being there and "claiming" the sandwiches came with chips and potato salad. It was embarrassing because other customers could clearly hear what was happening. Ultimately, I was told the owner said the sandwiches did not come with those sides. At that point, I just took my sandwiches and left. The entire situation felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. If there was a mix-up with the app, that isn't the customer's fault. Good customer service would have been to honor what was displayed in the app and clarify the issue internally afterward. Instead, I left feeling frustrated and embarrassed. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had.

Even though parking can be a challenge, there is parking in the front, and keep in mind there is a dedicated parking lot around the corner on Cedar Springs. I've tried so many things over the years of coming here. I especially love their breakfast sandwiches and pancakes, and can't forget to mention they have mimosas! The barista makes a delicious cappuccino and the lattes are good as well. If you're craving something sweet, they usually have iced cinnamon rolls and cookies in the display case. All delicious! Of course I'll continue to return time and time again.

I visited this breakfast spot on a recent trip to Dallas. I was actually planning on going…read moresomewhere else but ended up here instead. Parking was fairly easy as there is a lot on the north side of the building. If you are lucky there are 3 spots on the street in front of the restaurant. Upon entry, you are greeted right away by friendly staff. Interestingly enough, this is a counter service restaurant. There is a side bar with cocktails but I didn't walk in there. In the mornings that is where they're making all the coffees. I had looked at the menu for this place as well prior to coming to Dallas so I was familiar with the menu already and chose the chef's choice omelet with a pancake as my bread. We also tried the breakfast sandwich with bacon, but on a croissant. For drinks, we just had an OJ, and a iced white chocolate mocha latte. They don't have fresh squeezed OJ, but it is a bottled OJ which is not from concentrate. Omelet - great flavors with brisket, onions and mushrooms, just there wasn't enough brisket. The potatoes could have used some cooked onions with them. Breakfast sandwich- this was pretty good. They have a condiment bar in the middle of the room which has items for coffee like powered nutmeg and cinnamon, as well as different types of mill in pitchers. For more savory foods, they also have several bottles of hot sauces to choose from from a local company. The habanero goes pretty well on the potatoes. Latte - this was pretty good but seemed to be whiter than the average white chocolate mocha I've had before. Not that much mocha was added I'm guessing. The restrooms are nice and have a nice touch with pebbles in the sinks.
