Food: 7.5/10 Service: 6.8/10 Ambiance: 9/10 Perfect grab & go spot for lunch! They're primarily a baking company so there aren't many breakfast items other than pastries & bagels. Lunch items are great because they're paired nicely with healthy choices and will get you full!! The appearance is fresh... yet some items are processed and have additives. Read labels :). The service is decent. Unfortunately there are two ladies in particular that I've repeatedly experienced negative attitude and ingenuity from. Other younger girls are nicer. Cute place, cold atmosphere (in regards to some of the workers--unfortunately I think one is the manager/owner)

Wonderful family owned bakery. Made from scratch hearty breads, delicious cookies and baked goods. Fabulous seasonal baked treats, including Kings Cake and Chocolate Babka. A well stocked pantry of artisan jams, spreads, salads, and, wooden serving platters. There are also already made sandwiches to go. Friendly is the staff. On my rotation of a monthly visit along with my other favorite Big D's bakeries! CHEERS!

We stopped n for a quick snack while waiting for Rise No1 to open. I ordered a rugelach - which was one of the better ones I have eaten that was not home-made. I went back in to order a 2nd one for a snack later in the day.

Decided to try this place for our very first time today.. We walked in about 12pm, we weren't initially greeted. I had to sarcastically say "good morning" in my best CSR voice to be acknowledged, to be promptly ignored again. We were sort of standing around waiting for one of the 2 ladies at checkout to help us. So, again I had to initiate conversation with the older lady. We ordered the butter and chocolate crossaints, and a sticky bun which was very hard even after microwaving. The total came out to 24 dollars for the pastries, bad service was free of charge, I guess.

I rarely leave reviews , in fact, this may be my first one, but this experience was so negative…read morethat I feel compelled to share it. I ordered two sandwiches through the DoorDash app for pickup. The app clearly stated that the sandwiches came with chips and potato salad, which is why I chose that option instead of ordering a different special. When I arrived at the restaurant, I still had to wait in line before reaching the cashier. When I finally got to the counter, she handed me my sandwiches and then told me that I had ordered chips and potato salad but had not paid for them. I calmly explained that the app showed those items as included with the sandwich. Instead of resolving the situation professionally, she told me she needed to call the owner. She then had me step aside while she helped three other customers, leaving me waiting awkwardly off to the side. When the owner finally called her back, she spoke to him loudly (almost argumentatively) about me being there and "claiming" the sandwiches came with chips and potato salad. It was embarrassing because other customers could clearly hear what was happening. Ultimately, I was told the owner said the sandwiches did not come with those sides. At that point, I just took my sandwiches and left. The entire situation felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. If there was a mix-up with the app, that isn't the customer's fault. Good customer service would have been to honor what was displayed in the app and clarify the issue internally afterward. Instead, I left feeling frustrated and embarrassed. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had.

You Make your way to the counter where the gentleman takes your order and gives you a number. We went with the Prosciutto and Hot Italian Sausage. The Prosciutto sandwich was super tasty with fresh ingredients and top tier bread. The Hot Italian Sausage was over to top and delicious. Great sausage and amazing bread with just the right amount of spice overall. The sauce they use could be a meal by itself. Super great sandwich! It truly feels like you've stepped into a legit Italian market. It's packed--in a good way--but be prepared to rub elbows while you shop. If you don't have social anxiety, it's all part of the experience. We met another couple there for sandwiches, and they absolutely delivered. I had the Italian beef, which was delicious--but definitely spicy. I even asked for light peppers and it still brought some heat. So fair warning: if you're sensitive to spice, you might want to pivot to something else. My wife has been missing New Orleans, so she went with the muffaletta. Let's just say it was a much cheaper solution than flying her to the Big Easy. No gumbo on the menu, but the sandwich hit the spot. After we ate, we did a little shopping and grabbed some fresh Italian ingredients imported straight from Italy--which is always a win in my book. Great food, great vibe, and a true Dallas institution. We'll definitely be back.
