I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with the repeated issues I have experienced regarding the condition of my 2024 GMC Sierra, which I purchased from your dealership. the vehicle had noticeable scratches. I was assured these would be taken care of, but after the first attempt at repair, the truck was returned with a clear coat finish that was unacceptable--filled with swirl marks and holographic scratches. When I raised this concern, I was told a proper clear coat correction would be performed. Unfortunately, the second attempt also left the truck with poor results. On the third occasion, General Manager Phil personally assured me that a professional detailing crew would be hired to resolve the matter. I trusted this would finally correct the issue, but once again, the results were disappointing. At this point, the truck looks worse than ever, and the situation has caused nothing but frustration and wasted time on my end. I should not be forced to repeatedly bring my new vehicle back to the dealership for the same unresolved problem. As a customer who made a significant investment in this truck, I expect the dealership to uphold its responsibility and deliver the quality promised. While I could pay an independent professional to properly correct the paint, I strongly believe this is the dealership's responsibility to resolve at no additional cost to me. I ask that this matter be escalated and handled appropriately without further delays or excuses. Please provide a clear resolution plan, as I should not be left dealing with a brand-new vehicle in this condition. read more

Absolutely horrible service - post sale, of course! I ordered a bed liner for my truck. Never received a call that it was in. I called and was told it had arrived. I showed up but they couldn't find it. The man said once he found it, as he was sure it was in his warehouse, he would personally deliver it to my home. Two days later, no bed liner! So, I called and the same man said he would look for it and call me back in one hour. Guess what? You guessed it - NO call back. I then proceeded to call the GM, Steve, who finally picked up after having me on hold for 7 minutes. He sounded about as enthused to help as Eeyore would after having a root canal sans novacaine. I financed a vehicle here 3 years ago. The Motor died! And I have another 2 1/2 years of payments. The Warranty company does not cover any of parts or the repairs. With $13,000 owed and doing the repairs myself, which is the cost of another motor put into the car, I have a strong disapproval of the way they do business at this dealership. Update: I got a call from the sales manager about this review. And he said he is the current manager not the one who was there at the time I bought my vehicle. Warning, one of the few dealerships in the areas that adds a $2,000 fee to the listed price for used vehicles. I offered more than the listed price for the car, but couldn't get a deal because of a non-marketed $2k hidden fee. Avoid Buick Empire - Dishonest Promises and Terrible Service My grandmother purchased a car from Buick Empire in early November, and the experience has been nothing but disappointing. At the time of purchase, we were promised roadside assistance, warranty coverage on nearly everything (brakes, tires, transmission), free oil changes, and even a third key if we returned in three weeks. All of it sounded great--too great, apparently. Just three weeks after buying the car, she got a nail in her tire. When we called roadside assistance, they told us coverage hadn't "kicked in" and tried to charge $350. I called the dealership, and the manager told me--very disrespectfully--"get out the car change the tire & bring it in " mind you im a women! Absolutely unacceptable. Even though she had already paid for roadside assistance at the time of purchase, she had to pay again. Both the store and finance managers ("Zee" and "Ryan ") promised reimbursement. I sent bank statements to prove the charge, but we've never received a refund. Zee is no longer even with the dealership. When I returned for an oil change months later, I asked again about the refund and the promised key--still nothing. No one could even reset the oil service light. It's been six months, and we're still chasing them for what we were promised. No follow-up, no accountability. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere. read more

Upon arrival @ the dealership I was informed that I would qualify for the offer 2024 Terrain $370.00 a month 39 months no money down. After looking at a 2024 Terrain I sat down to discuss the deal. The salesman after speaking to his boss can back with a $399.00 offer. This offer was $29.00 higher than their offer I received in two mailings to my home. This is my 3 rd GMC, second one with this business. The previous owners were awesome. The new owners well that's a issue. I have a recall and 1st the wrong part was ordered back in June. They were supposed to order the correct one they did not then in August they purchased the correct part. It is now the middle of November and the part is on back order. read more

Be advised. In every step you take in their dealership, there is a hidden dealer truck waiting for you to drag you into a regretful deal. If you saw a bargain advertised by them, be mindful. It is a scam. They know what they do. From changing the price online while you are on the test drive, to offering you ridiculous discounts if you do this and that. Story short, after 2 days of talking and agreeing over a deal they were trying to charge me for 5 grand more than advertised price, the manager texted me that they can not give me the car because they need to get the title from bank! Shady dealership. Told me there would be a diagnostic fee for a recall? Really? Trying to rip off customers for necessary repairs. Called me Back and told me the machine was broken to fix the recall and it should be the next day that the vehicle would be fixed. I waited over a week which my car was left at this dealership and it still wasn't fixed. I wanted my car back and was told I needed to pay $179.00 do take possession of my vehicle. How do you charge someone for a recall and on top of that, the repair was never done! This dealership should be investigation for their criminal practices and shut down completely! read more

The sales department here is an absolute joke. They told me my car was ready for pick up and all I had to do was come sign and drive. I had already given them a hefty down payment. When we got there there was only sales person. Music was blasting like it was a club. After waiting almost 2 hours to see the salesperson (who said the financial paperwork was complete) and get my car we were directed to a person in the finance office who was almost clueless. No paperwork was complete. They had no monthly payment comparisons available. There were multiple phone calls needed to be made. Very disorganized dealership. I bought a vehicle here after paying off my 2010 Ford Explorer. The salesman did not understand the features I wanted, which included leather seating and enough room to accommodate two large dogs. And long trips out of state. They gave me a car with a warranty. A 4 cylinder engine with barely any pickup on the highway. Often other vehicles go around me because my car doesn't accelerate fast enough to join the other cars. The warranty doesn't cover normal wear and tear of the car. I was told after they told me by the service department that I have no warranty that it only covers oil changes. And when I took the car In because the braking system didn't seem right, I was told there is nothing wrong with the brakes! When stopping at the traffic lights it felt like the brake pads were worn down. Finally I went to a trusted repair shop like Mavis tires. And they found the problem! The rotor plates had a problem. To repair this and get rear shocks $800. Not covered by any warranty I had with this dealership. read more

If you are asking about my service yesterday Thursday 8/22 and you want the honest feedback, here it is.  Prior to yesterday, I was happy with the dealer sales and the service received to date working with the female advisors.     However, yesterday afternoon I was informed of a quote of $____   When I went to pick up the car close of business I was surprised but didn't react immediately to be charged over ____ dollars. I was surprised that the receipt said customer requested oil change (approx $70) .   I was surprised that the receipt said customer requested tire balance.    On the contrary , I only asked for specific work to be done not extra work that could have waited. This leads me to believe that this type of behavior happens more often than not where advisors quote one price and then customers end up paying over the quoted price. Am happy to take my future business elsewhere as I know the market is competitive and I can easily go a few more miles and get different honest and credible customer service. read more

Avoid this place like the plague. when i purchased my original GMC Terrain, I was so thrilled with my experience that I went back and purchased an Acadia. My transmission had issues. left my car with the service team 12/21/19. they were backlogged. Got it back 1/31/20 (5 weeks!). they were "sorry" and could not give me a loaner due to the backlog. I borrowed cars from family, friends and got rides with co-workers to work. Other moms picked up and dropped kids off at school. I exhausted every favor from friends and family Got my car back. Transmission issues were NOT fixed properly. Brought it back to dealer on 2/21/20. As of today, they have not looked at my car and tell me it's probable another month to look at it and make repair. Again said "sorry" they can't give me a loaner or help me even after I explained that I was stranded without a car and 3 children (car seats included). They don't care. 3 kids and a full time job. Trying to get rides to work, move car seats to family and friends vehicle because GMC of White Plains doesn't care. Shame on White Plains GMC. When they ask you what you need in a new car do not drive off the lot until you check. Three things that I said I needed were not there. Then I called my salesman, but no, he's gone already!!! Too bad, tough luck!! I ordered floor mats (that I had to pay for) received an email that they were in. Go there, 20 minutes out of my way, was met by a rude parts dept man who told me I had to wait 20 minutes, he's busy! I thought that was his job!!! After standing there for 20 minutes, oh no, my computer is down! Too bad, tough luck!!! I went to manager to complain and he said ok give me a minute! Almost 10 minutes later the lady at front desk asks me for my address and they'll mail the mats to me. No idea when!!! Manager never came back to talk to me. When you appear to lease a car, they can't do enough for you, once you drive off, you're on your own. I leased a Lincoln for 9 years, should have stayed with them. Might be the worst service you could experience. They are all about selling you a car, and warranties on that car but god forbid you need to use that warranty. I bought a 70K GMC Acadia Denali, loaded, every bell and whistle. When the car had problems with the suspension and it was under warranty we had to deal with a song and a dance about sending pictures to a warranty company to see if they would fix it. The car has been in the shop for two weeks now with not one piece of work having been done. We had to call the warranty company who said they had not heard from the dealer and then the dealer told us the same thing. Keep in mind the whole time we are without our truck and it just sits in the dealers service lot. Do not buy from this dealer and certainly don't bring your car here. I'm never going to this place for service! I went in to fix a recalled airbag and left with a vibrating car. Their "complimentary scan," something any mechanic or AutoZone would do for free, found nothing. But, then there were no service warnings lit in my dash. Many of the people were at Saturn when they were in Elmsford and moved to this place. Last month they returned a to me half cleaned and vacuumed car that they didn't dry off after service. Apparently, they left their stellar customer service and professionalism behind. I tried to stick with them, but never again! read more

Walked in on 12/21/19 around 4:00 and the so called receptionist was on the phone making plans so we bypassed her. We walked to the sales floor and saw the GMC Denali we wanted and looked it over for about 10 minutes without one dealer walking up to us so we walked out. Sad part is we where in need of two vehicles because both of their leases are up. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone who just wants some simple service. I have no experience with their sales team, this review is for service only. Had a horrible experience with their service (which seems to be a theme in these reviews). Took a Buick Encore in that had been in a minor accident with a dent in the hood and some damage to the grille. Also had a problem with Check Engine light being on (which they had tried to fix twice before unsuccessfully). The body work they send out to Frank & Son Autobody in the Bronx, so some of this is the fault of the body shop - but the dealership refused to take responsibility for any of the problems caused by the body shop. And there were lots of problems: - The dealership had the car for a total of FOUR WEEKS to get some simple body work done. Multiple calls got no satisfaction from them other than to say that the delay was caused by Geico, when Geico was saying the delay was caused by the body shop. - When the car was returned to me, they had performed over $9,910 worth of work on it, which had been billed to Geico. As an example, replacing two complete headlamp assemblies at a total of $1,120, when the headlamps were completely undamaged (I have pictures to prove this). I showed the car and invoice to my own dealership the next day and they said it looked like a case of "massive fraud" and would no doubt harm the resale value of my car if a buyer ever runs a CARFAX report. - While the car was at the bodyshop, they parked the car illegally on the sidewalk and I got a $180 ticket for it (which they are going to pay, but still). - When the dealership got the car back in their garage and tried to fix the Check Engine light, they installed a new mass airflow sensor but disconnected the O2 sensor. The Check Engine light came back on within minutes after leaving the dealership, and my own dealership confirmed the other sensor had been disconnected. - Multiple calls to the dealership over the four weeks got no satisfactory answers, only excuses - and when I called with the above complaints after getting the car back, White Plains GMC refused to take responsibility for any of this, and just referred me to the body shop. Bottom line: for body work or other service, I will never go to this dealership again. If I could give less than one star I would. read more

I saw a leftover 2018 on Autotrader and started a dialogue with internet sales which eventually resulted in an appointment scheduled to appraise my trade in. I was instructed as follows: "When you arrive at our showroom, please go to the reception desk and ask to speak with my manager. When he introduces himself, let him know you are a preferred VIP customer and provide him with your name and phone number. This will allow him to quickly and easily reference our conversation so that you don't have to repeat yourself and we can save you as much time as possible." I arrived about an hour before my appointment and approached the desk in the sales area. The gentleman who I believe was Everton gave me a puzzled look after I mentioned the above per their instructions. I was hussled away from that desk by a salesman whose name I later learned (Al?) by reading it on the papers that he was filling out after showing me the car. So far, 2 people from sales with no introduction or handshake. Al continued to ask me all of the questions that we had previously corresponded about and I said I didn't want to go too far with things until I saw the pricing details. "Don't worry, it'll just be a little above where you're at now" was all I was told. Al said "If everything works out can you take the car tonight?" Still no pricing or discussion or illustration of monthly payments. After taking copies of my license, registration, title, insurance card and all of my information Al disappeared to the finance area. I sat for some time at a desk before I decided to go help myself to a cup of coffee (none was ever offered.) Meanwhile, I see that Al had prepared a paper to get the car prepped for delivery. (Still no substantial discussion about financials). After quite a while Mustafa came over and introduced himself and explained about how he believes in transparency. We discussed my goal, which was to keep my monthly payments as close to what they were as possible and get the most for my trade at a fair price. I also understood his goal of making a profit for the company. I hoped we both could have achieved our goals, but I was sadly mistaken. Again, after a while, another gentleman comes over while I was sitting at the desk and says "I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier, I'm Yuri." Yuri explains to me that with my "excellent credit rating" he can get me a good rate (4.99%) and that my monthly payments would be $715.00. No mention of terms or illustration of how putting some money down to get closer to my desired payment. At this point I realized that there was no good faith attempt to work out a deal and I terminated any further negotiations. By the way, my credit union is offering a rate of less than 3% so I know 4.99 is ridiculous. I feel like my 1 hour each way trip plus tolls was a complete waste of time, not to mention the nearly 3 hours I spent waiting. So much for a "VIP Experience." This was more or less a case of "this is the deal-take It or leave it." I also left wondering if they had sold the car in the interim and wanted to get rid of me. I've bought many new cars over the years and this, by far, was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. read more

We attempt to purchase a vehicle in the behind of October. The salesman made an error in showing us a car that did not have the only feature we were looking for in a used vehicle. We drove two cars of the same make and model. One with and the other without AWD. The first vehicle made a terrible thump when we drove out for the test drive. We returned immediately. Thats when we were shown the second vehicle without the AWD feature unbeknownst to us. We chose the second vehicle as it had more features. We left a $500 deposit. Our salesman was not in when we picked up the car but that was not a problem for us. When we came in to pick up the car we discovered it did not have the AWD feature. While waiting for a solution the sales manager kept us waiting for over 30 minutes to come up with a solution for which he had 3. The first was buy the incorrect car (um no) the other 2 were to buy to different cars at higher prices (still no). He was rude and condescending and he never told us the original car (the one with the thump which turned out to just be a tire tag) was still available. We did not make a purchase. Fast forward to today (12/28) we have not received our deposit despite numerous phone calls, emails and a visit to the showroom today. read more

I needed parts for my vehicle and called ahead to make sure the parts department would be open, the gentlemen I spoke to let me know that they were close at 5pm. I reached the parts department at 4:55pm only to see the lights off, with two gentlemen waiting at the entrance way for the clock to turn 5 (their vehicles turned on and warming up) . When I approached, one gentleman said that they were closed, and let me know that they would be opening tomorrow at 8am (website says 7:30am).
