With reasonable prices, and the convenience of U-Haul rentals, this place eased some of the stress of moving. The facilities are clean, climate-controlled and secure. However, don't set-up automatic payment with them. After vacating, we were still charged rent. I had to call them four times until it was finally fixed. They also offered a $10 discount for writing a Yelp review which I never received. When I spoke with the owner about it, first he offered $10 in credit towards boxes and moving supplies, which I didn't need. So then he said he'd deal with it, but he didn't. When I finally got reimbursed for the overcharge he offered that I could come by and he'd give me cash for the Yelp review, but I don't live anywhere near there. Not sure why he didn't just include that with the reimbursement. This place makes mistakes and then inconveniences the customer in making amends. read more

You rented me a dirty truck, or at least dirty in the opinion of Dennis, who upon retiring the truck handed me a boom and told me to go sweep out the back of the truck. I went to look at this mess he was taking about, and all I could see was some sand or small black pebbles? Either way, there is no way this was something I did, so I returned him and told him that it was not me. He then proceeded to get very angry, and eventually told me to get the fu*k out of his store and he would email me the receipt (which I have not received yet). Edit: after contacting U-Haul support to get my receipt, Dennis lied and over charged me for mileage and gas. Luckily I had taken pictures and provided them to U-Haul. I was told "Dennis is on their radar". Clearly this manager needs to go. Just read others reviews. read more

I've been renting a small storage shed (10 x 5?) from Empire Mini Storage for the past year and I couldn't be happier with the helpful, friendly staff. As someone who regularly loses things - to the point where I sometimes wonder if I'm developing early onset dementia - I appreciate the many times they have had to assist me with having to replace the lock to my shed since I would manage to eventually lose the three keys allotted per lock...twice over. They helpfully suggested by the third set of keys that I keep one at the desk for use when needed, available to me during business hours. Bill and Rob are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and respectful of my wife and I as new tenants. They explained all details clearly and precisely. The facility is clean and laid out well. Our locker is easy to get to with an elevator ride and dollies are provided. It is affordable for this area. This storage is really convenient with the Uhaul right there so there is no wasted $ on driving the rental truck back. I just go it yesterday but so far it seems great. It was very clean and secure so I don't feel worried leaving my things there at all. read more
