After a total nightmare at our local dealership in Victorville, CA, that left us carless for days, scammed with fake diagnostics, and charged over $1,000 for unauthorized work, we brought our 2025 Nissan Kicks down the hill to Empire Nissan for a second opinion. From the second we arrived, Steven Trevino was an absolute lifesaver. He was honest, deeply sincere, and highly communicative. Unlike our previous experience where everything was just shady "word-of-mouth," Steven and his team actually took the time to fully inspect our car and wrote down *every single detail* perfectly. They completely exposed the fraudulent diagnosis we were given elsewhere. Steven's technicians proved our steering rack was perfectly fine and instead found the real culprits: separated lower control arm bushings and a steering angle sensor error. Steven handled everything professionally, getting those factory defects completely repaired under our warranty for $0.00! (The other dealership Valley Hi Nissan, Victorville, CA) had forced us to drive on a failing suspension, our front tires were completely ruined, but Steven got us sorted out with brand new tires and a precision alignment. I just picked up the car, and it drives as good as new. I would love to come here again. Save yourself your time at Valley Hi Nissan Victorville, and go somewhere where they actually value you and your money, and where they actually take good care of you. I promise you, this is where I'll be going from now on! It really sucks having a Nissan dealership right in the High Desert where I live and not even being able to go there because they're not trustworthy. Itook my Nissan in for the 100,000 Miles Recommended Service, before getting anything done, I requested a Diagnostic. mind you I purchased the vehicle in 2021 with 17 miles. I reached the 100,000 mile mark with ZERO ISSUES or concerns with my vehicle UNTIL I brought it to Empire Nissan!! Over the years, I kept up with all maintenance and no issues ever! I received the Diagnostic and to my surprise was given 2 pages of (so-called) problems that need to be fixed in addition to the 100,000 Miles Recommended Service? I never had 1 issue with my vehicle and when I took the vehicle in for (SOME) of the recommended services, spark plugs, changing oil etc. simple services; Carlos in the service department complimented my vehicle several times and even inquired as to where I take it for service?! I told him I never had an issue as far as services only tire rotation and regular oil changes. There is so much to this review that there is too much to write! Long story short some mechanic named Cruz ruined my car THEN tried to say I brought it in that way!!! I brought my vehicle back only to be met with hostility from the Manager, Mike who said there is no way of telling who caused the issues with my vehicle!!! it's been over a month and Empire Nissan has avoided everything!! I've been waiting for Carlos. I did come a little earlier than my appointment time (5pm) but it's after that time now and I would have been waiting outside in the heat for Carlos since he is the only advisor today. I decided to come inside the lounge because waiting in 98 degree weather for more than ten minutes is unacceptable to me. I went back outside and I was finally seen at 5:13pm. At first I had two stars on this review but things started looking better after Manny helped me. I was trying to use Sunbit for my service payment. My phone died and another sales consultant took me over by Manny to charge my phone so that I could unfreeze my credit. I tried Experian at first that didn't work, then Equifax and still nothing. Carlos gave me the number to Sunbit. So I called and asked which credit bureau they used. It was Transunion. I used the computer and unfroze that one. I went back to Carlos and it worked. So I didn't have to pay the full amount of my service today. Manny was great. He charged my phone and escorted me back and forth to Carlos. I also heard his coworker ask him if he was going home. So he stayed over to make sure that I was ok. Manny is a good guy. He didn't have to do any of this for me, especially when I wasn't there to purchase a car. Sorry, this dealership and its bankers did not act in our best interest. Only theirs. They only agreed to an 18 month lease instead of the 36 mo (which is what I asked). They only agreed to 10,000 miles per year instead of 12,000 (which is what I asked). And they refused to approve to have the car under my name (the owner / payer / driver) on the title and only allowed my cosigner's name. I deeply regret not trusting my instincts and continuing to go to Redlands for my regular oil changes on this vehicle. I went for a simple oil change, and left with a list of "issues," that were listed, that were in fact not present. The one that stood out the most was the all popular, "oil leak." Mind you, the car has no leak. Now, to fill in the blanks. Immediately after them telling me my car was ready, I went to pay. I noticed what they put on the print out and begin to question it. I addressed my concerns with the service advisor who didn't seem to really care. So, when I left, I called back and spoke to a Mike, who said he was the Manager. I explained to him my concerns, and, in a nutshell, all he could say was, "I'm sorry, you don't like the service you received." During the conversation, I told him how I was hesitant to go there because I watched a lot of the 'beware of mechanics shows' and what to look out for, and how the presence of an oil leak is the most popular think that they find that mechanics do. His response was, "Yeah, I know." That's it. I know time did he disagree with that statement. Ultimately, we ended the conversation. Not being satisfied with the reponse, I called back and spoke to the man that I noticed had his number here on Yelp, responding to as many reviews as possible. (I'm typing and don't feel the need to stop to retrieve it). I had a *very bad* experience with this dealer's service department. Paid for control arms and tie rods in June. In December, when getting tires replaced another dealer saw wear and tear on the repaired parts. Brought my vehicle back in January to Empire and was coerced into paying another $500+ for part replacement. Asked for my non-core parts back. They weren't willing to give them. Harassed by the GM and service staff when I tried to negotiated a resolution. GM tried to say I was "overthinking" or had a "personality changed" and was very unprofessional. Also believe I was doxxed by their staff (look up the penal code if you don't know) who were somehow alluding to personal info about my life outside of the transaction. Just recently learned of the state Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) and the right to file a complaint with this organization and the one I have underway with Nissan corporate. I am also trying to reach out to corporate owners Oremor Automotive Group and its owner Richard Romero which is a run around. 44,000 miles later, I am seeing additional issues with replaced parts. Service : Two of my tires had nails in them after getting oil change from this place. Not to mention I drove palm springs to la that morning no problem, la to ontario no problem. Right after the service, 10 mins into freeway I get warning light for my tires. Sales : The salesman who sold me a car asked me to fill out a survey or bring it to them so he can do the survey himself for compensation (gift card or fill gas). As soon as I got the survey in my email, I drive 40 mins to show him the survey and he did it himself. He gave me my phone back, thanked me, and nothing. No gift card, no gas fill. My husband and I purchased, in full, a used 2023 Nissan Frontier and the battery, that has a warranty, has died 3 times in 2 months. We called USAA roadside service three times to jump the battery. When reading other people's reviews, I tend to have a different experience with Empire NISSAN. Everything has been positive from when I bought my car to every time I bring it in for service. I was introduced to Gary Worley when I bought my car. He is the service supervisor and is usually there when I bring my car in for service in the mornings if I ever have a question or concerns, I bring it to him and he makes it right. Today I brought my car in for just a simple oil service and was out of there pretty quickly even though busy with people getting their cars serviced for Fourth of July. His team is the reason why I returned back to this location for all of my family's car services. I came into the service department several days ago when my Sentra had broke down on the freeway completely losing power and no control at all. When my car was dropped off at the service department I was worried about the complexity of getting warranty to cover the cost. I was reassured that all my concerns and questions would be answered and within a statement or sentence I can understand. I was greeted by all service members when walking around looking for help, they checked in on me to assure me that I wasn't invisible. The drop off was seamlessly stress free and easy. The technician right away pulled my car around to begin inspection and tests. The worry of getting into a rental and getting someone to understand my concerns about the situation were easy. The advisor thoroughly explained everything on how the process will work. Even though I asked the same questions in about 4 different ways Rafael was exceptionally great and assuring me my vehicle was in good hands. Never take your car to Empire Nissan. Before I brought my vehicle in I called and spoke to Mark Avila whom ensured they would stay honest with pricing. Upon getting there everything was fine but after leaving my car there for two days I was provided with a list of items "needed" to get done that was gonna cost more than the car was worth which made absolutely no sense. On top of that, the dealer doesn't even have the parts needed to do the repairs like how does that make any sense? They had to call a specialist to check out my car then they were trying to overcharge me. The diagnostic fee was even out of hand but I take the L for thinking the dealer would help at all. Yesterday January 21, 2025 I drove almost an hour to see a used vehicle. We did a test drive and then sales rep named Roel abandoned us to see another client, like why would you do that ? We were there first before that other client and that is one of the reasons why we decided to leave. It's like we are not worth his time. Ontario Nissan used to be my primary place to get my oil change and fix my car, but after I went to another dealer, I noticed I was taken care of better. I took my car for the past few years to change my oil here and fix an ongoing issue with my radio. Unfortunately, whenever I asked for my radio to get fixed, it was an issue with my cords and me, but never the radio itself. My warranty ran out, so I continued my extended warranty and took it to another Nissan dealership. They found the issue that day, and within two weeks, they fixed my radio with no concern about thinking it was my charging cable. It was inconvenient that I had to go to another dealership, but I am happy the issue was resolved. Got my first major breakdown fix at the dealership with the help of Gary, he was responsive during the whole process as it has been there for a month. By the time we pick up the car, Gary discuss the complexity of fixing along with how many things have to be change to get it moving again, we were eager to get a price if we were to sell it, sad to say price was astonishingly low, guess LEAFS doesn't hold much value even when gas prices are high. Please be aware of scratches and dents from the dealership, take pictures because they are not willing to stand up for those, discuss later in the review. We got some more trouble a 2nd time with starting the car and charging at some Chadmo chargers. We have it tow, they weren't able to figure out the problem so we pick up the car today, discussing with Gary the touch up is done. Please see attached photos of their touch up job, seems like a kid put some paint and call it done. I ask nicely what can they do about this, seems scratches and dent created at the dealership is not their problem but the consumers, by his words, it's not our problem but yours, you can contact customer service at Nissan to complaint about this matter. I will gladly do so, and ensure I put in the good words. There are many car brands within the Ontario auto center, and in honesty, greater brands and customer service, thus I don't recommend Nissan brand as a whole, FYI: on my way home, tire pressure light came on right outside the dealership, great job Nissan! read more

I thought he was going to take pictures guessed it was part of the job instead he has the mechanic remove my air filter and show me how filthy it is. Wish he would've been more professional about it but pretty much put me on blast. Told him I would get to then he said "you said that last time" I don't remember that being discussed before. I was in the market to buy a new car. Not just any car, a small, economical car with good gas mileage. I began doing my research and decided on a Nissan Versa. I began looking at different websites and quickly realized a lot of dealerships were adding a lot of dealer add-on items, like outrageously priced tint, wheels locks, protective film and other items. I did an online inquiry and Dave Ky (Key) responded. He quickly replied and said Empire Nissan didn't run those scams on people. The advertised price was the actual price. No scams to get me into the dealership and then bam, here's this and here's that. Based on his honesty, I set an appointment for the following morning and wife wife and I drove out to see him. We were helped within minutes, test driving the Versa I was interested in within 15 minutes and then sat down and started working the numbers. I was honest with Dave, I told him I didn't need the car, but I would like something that has better gas mileage than my Silverado since it would strictly be a commuter vehicle. From our arrival to signing paperwork, was right around two hours. A very good experience and I would definitely deal with Dave again. I would recommend Empire Nissan to anyone. I guess it pays to know what you want and know what you bring to the table. Did deduct one star because one of the tires was low and the sales team didn't have access to anything to put air in the tire on a Sunday.
