Horrible experience. I left my car on a Friday morning around 8:30am. My front brakes have been squeaking. I had to call them around 3pm because I have not received any information. I was told the mechanic drove my car around the neighborhood and could not hear a sound. They wanted to take the tires off to check the brake pads but they couldn't because the specialized socket wrench sized to fit my specific wheels was missing. When I left my car there, they never asked for this tool. I let them know that it's in the car not sure where but it's in there. They said they'll search for it. I was told to leave my car over the weekend so they could "try" to take a look at it and maybe use a special tool to take my tires off. Monday comes around my husband, had to go into work late because he had to drop me off. I go straight to my advisor Jonathan Peña and he lets me know that the car has not been touched since they didn't have the tool to take off my tires. He said, we can take a look at your car, but we will have to brake it. Why would I want my brand new car broken!? I informed him that the tool he's looking for is in my car. I went straight to my car and I found it right away. After waiting hours in the waiting area they finally took my tires off letting me know that the two front brakes were overheating at one point. Mind you this is a 2025 suburban. Brand new. This car is a family car. I use it for school drop off , pick up, runs to the grocery store and sports nothing crazy. I asked why is my brand new car already squeaking he said, it could be because of the way I drive. I assured him it's not driving. Then he said it's the way the manufacturers are making cars these days. They make brake pads too soft. I was told I should have all 4 bake rotors sanded Jonathan verbally quoted me 540. I asked, why have the back two tires done when they are perfectly fine so then he quoted me 390 for the two front brakes. After having that done two days later, I come back because they're still squeaking. I was told to go on a drive with the mechanic. We barely left the driveway and the mechanic said, oh it's coming from the back brakes. Make a U-turn and head back to the dealership. As soon as I got out of my car, I asked how is it that you heard it from the back when I hear it from the front. He proceeded to tell me this is his job and he's been doing this for years and look at the back brakes. He continued saying, there's a shiny coat on the routers that the manufacturers put on. That's what's making it squeak. I went back to Jonathan to let him know the mechanic thought it was coming from the back and what I thought I was hearing. Jonathan then quoted me again 390 to have the two back routers sanded. I asked, how is It 390 for the 2 back brakes when you quoted me 540 for all four the other day? He said he never quoted me 540. I kept insisting that he did. Why would I be making this up? I was told to come back the following day so they could take the tires off again. So coming back for a third time Jonathan and the mechanic drove my car around the neighborhood. He concluded that it was coming from the front and not the back. Again, I sat in the waiting area for SIX hours, only for them to put lubricant on my two front brakes. At one point I had to ask how much longer because I had to pick up my kids from school. They couldn't even find the mechanic. I was late to pick up my children from elementary school and junior high. After everything was set and done, I asked Jonathan how long will the lubricate last he said, the duration of my brakes. I wanted to make sure that this was put in writing. So I asked him the same question in front of the secretary, and he said the complete opposite . He can't guarantee that my brakes won't squeak again because of the way I drive even though he has no idea how I drive. I got so many excuses as to why my brakes have been squeaking to the way I drive, to the pads being too soft, and to the manufacturer, putting a shiny coat over the routers. Women beware because they will blame your driving. They will try to charge you for something that does not need to be fixed. They will call you a liar and If you go there with no knowledge of cars, they will take advantage. read more

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Mountain View Chevrolet Service. I brought my car in for service, and they assured me they would do a diagnosis and call me right away. Two full days passed, and I received no updates or communication from them. I had to call them myself to find out what was going on. When I finally got through, a guy named Jon told me, "I told you we don't have a mechanic." This was absolutely untrue--he never mentioned anything about not having a mechanic when I dropped off my car. Had I known, I would never have left my vehicle there in the first place. In the end, I picked up my car two days later, completely unfixed and in the same condition as when I brought it in. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of communication is unacceptable. These guys are liars, They somehow convinced me to pay $1,500 for transmission work that was under full warranty. In addition to that they promised me $600 reimbursement for the 2 week car rental which after almost 5 months; $170 came in the mail; totally unacceptable. I have had to use way too much energy to recover anything, and it looks like they lied to me and I will not recover the agreed amount. In the end; do not trust their warranty, they will not honor it. What a scam! On top of that, they will BS you until the cows come home. On a separate issue, their sales manager Andy Ho in sales treats potential clients awful. He called me 2 days in a row and when he did not get the immediate response he was looking for he hung on me babbling some incoherent anger at me, then I received a text message which I responded with some questions; which then Andy Ho once again called me; when he didn't get the immediate response he was looking for he scolded me and hung up on me again. This guy should not be a representative of anyone's company. Up until this warranty issue I have had a great relationship with this dealer and would have potentially purchased a new vehicle in the near future. Find a different dealership, they cannot be trusted; and they treat people poorly. read more

I called the dealership multiple times for 3 days requesting to speak to a finance manager and never received a call back. As of this review, I still have not received a call. It is not at the point that they don't even answer the phones, they just pick up and immediately place me on hold. Adrian Jr. called, and we finalized everything over the phone. He listened to everything I had to say. They worked their magic; after hearing my questions, he answered them all without negativity or saying "can't," which is huge when making a big purchase. Upon arriving at the dealership, Adrian Jr. immediately greeted me and showed me my new truck, which was ready to go. Adrian, the general manager, came out to thank me and greet me as well. If I could leave negative stars, I would. Two days after I purchase a 2024 from them the check engine light came on. The sales rep was quick to remedy The situation picked up my vehicle from work for me and returned it not even a day and a half later, the check engine light came on again again, they can pick the vehicle up for me and then they have to keep my vehicle for two weeks They give me a rental with almost 117,000 miles on it with a nasty ass white stain in the back. I requested a new vehicle and they gave me one. Finally after receiving my car back mind you DiRTY! Couldn't even bother to vacuum or clean the outside. Things seemed to be going good. Untill it came time to renew my registration m. They registered the vehicle address under the dealer ship!!!! Now im Having to go through a change of address to renew my vehicle. If I could give zero stars I would. My recent experience with Mountain View Chevrolet, specifically with service advisor Johnathan Penna, was the most unprofessional and uncaring service I have ever encountered at any dealership. My family has trusted this place for years and what I experienced was completely unacceptable. I had my 2021 Chevy Tahoe towed in on December 3rd after it stopped recognizing my key fob and would not start. A locksmith who came to my home told me the issue was very likely the antenna not picking up the key fob signal. I explained this clearly when I brought the vehicle in. Despite that, I was charged almost one thousand dollars for diagnostics, a new key fob and labor, only for them to later admit that the key fobs were never the issue to begin with. The communication from Johnathan was absolutely terrible. He promised updates and did not follow through even once. I waited all day on Thursday with no call. When I finally reached out near closing time, only then did he tell me the vehicle was still not ready. On Friday I had to call multiple times just to get any information and another employee was shocked that I had not received a single update. This shows how little he cared about keeping me informed, even though he knew my family was without a functioning vehicle. When he finally did call me back, he told me that the real problem was the exact issue I had explained from the start which was the antenna. Then he told me it would be another nine hundred dollars to replace it. There was no apology, no ownership and no concern that I had already been charged almost a thousand dollars for work that did not solve anything. When I went to pick up my vehicle, the situation became even worse. The technician had put a dent in my door and my key fobs were still unreliable. Johnathan originally said they could send someone to my home to fix the damage, and he said this knowing the vehicle would not start. Later he changed what he said and told me I would have to tow the vehicle back to the dealership to fix the damage their own technician caused. This showed a complete lack of accountability and a total disregard for the inconvenience this created for my family. The final conversation I had with him told me everything I needed to know about his attitude. Instead of speaking to me professionally and respectfully, he referred to me as "bud" while I was dealing with thousand dollar bill, a damaged door and no working key fobs. It was dismissive, rude and completely out of line. In my line of work, if demonstrated this level of poor communication, lack of responsibility and complete lack of caring for the people relying on me, I would be disciplined immediately. There is no excuse for this kind of behavior in any field, especially one where customers are placing trust in you to take care of their vehicle and communicate honestly. I left the dealership with a large bill, two key fobs that still do not work, a damaged door and absolutely no sense that the person handling my vehicle cared about fixing anything or doing the right thing. The unprofessionalism was unbelievable and I strongly encourage anyone considering service here to be aware of what I experienced with Johnathan Penna. read more

Awful experience. I was interested in purchasing a used vehicle, but the entire process left me deeply disappointed. The dealership's website made no mention that the advertised price for the used EV I was considering already included the federal tax credit - something not all buyers are even eligible for. During the test drive, the salesman refused to address me directly, speaking only to my male passenger and even making jokes at my expense. This was unprofessional and incredibly disrespectful. I was told the car had only been on the lot for two weeks, yet it was scratched, dirty, missing a floor mat, and even had a hole in the driver's side floor - hardly the condition one would expect. When I asked about the EV tax credit, the salesman initially didn't even know the car was eligible. After confirming with his manager, he returned to tell us that the advertised price already factored in the credit. When I pointed out that this was not disclosed anywhere on the website and that it was misleading to advertise a price assuming eligibility for a rebate, he insisted it was clearly listed (it was not). We expressed our concerns, but rather than acknowledge the issue, the manager tried to take us to his office to "show us" where it supposedly said this on the website. At that point, we decided to leave. Between the misleading pricing practices and the poor customer service, we will not be returning - and I strongly caution others to avoid this dealership. read more
