My experience with Emily was wonderful, and though I'm so thrilled that she's full time at her own private practice, it's a huge loss for Google. I saw her consistently for about 16 months at Google for deep-tissue massage. Emily is warm, caring, and strong, and I always left her sessions feeling like the specific issues I had described to her (usually hip flexor tightness from being seated and neck/shoulder issues from typing at a computer most of the day) were much improved. She was attentive to my feedback and specific requests. Emily is AMAZING! I've been seeing her for 1.5 years at Google (she currently works there part time) and have had the most relaxing and helpful massages ever. It's difficult to find massages that are both relaxing ("spa-like") and effective in treating more serious body pain and discomfort (such as computer-related issues). Since I'm breastfeeding she helped put rolled up towels around my breasts to help relieve the pressure while doing the massage - so creative! I was randomly paired him because I was in desperate need of a massage after hurting my shoulder and he was the 1st person at Empowering Hands that had availability. l'm SO glad I found him! He has advanced training that really benefited me and my injury and we've been working together to get me and my shoulder back to its pre-injured state and I couldn't be happier! The office is clean and comfortable and I feel like the therapists there really take the time to listen to the needs of their clients and actually address them rather then just give you a generic rub down and send you on your way.
