    Sunshine Ahi Tuna

4 Stars! Although I've been to Emry's Garden for different events, this was my first time actually coming for dinner--and what a fun night! I happened to see a notification on social media that they were doing $1 oysters and immediately jumped online and grabbed a 5:30 reservation! If you've never been to Emry's Garden, you're missing out on the cutest little space! It's absolutely beautiful, filled with greenery, quaint décor, and so many cozy touches. It has such a warm, inviting feeling the minute you walk in. They also had live music that night , so the patio was definitely bumping! We were seated right away and our drink order was taken quickly. We started with a dozen oysters and the Ahi tuna appetizer. The tuna was very similar to an ahi tuna nacho--and WOW! Absolutely delicious and something I will 100% be ordering again! We were a little disappointed that they didn't have mignonette for the oysters, but honestly, the oysters were still completely delicious! By the time we were ready to order another dozen, we were told they were sold out. But honestly, I wasn't surprised--the restaurant was packed and it seemed like every table was enjoying those $1 oysters! Our server was very sweet , although the service was a little slow. I'm guessing that had a lot to do with how busy the restaurant was that evening. Oyster lovers, take my advice: Order more than a dozen right away! We'll definitely be back, and next time we'll either come a little earlier or make sure we order enough oysters to satisfy the craving! Overall, such a fun evening in a beautiful setting. I'm hoping they continue the $1 oyster nights because we will absolutely be back! Emry's Garden, you've got yourself some repeat customers!

I love this place . I love the space. I love the ambience. I love the music. This is a really chill bar with food that we've been coming to, on and off for a couple years, even before it was Emery's (The Beer Garden)- it's just a great spot. But today we came in for happy hour and had a perfect margarita and an Aperol spritz, which gave me a renewed appreciation for Aperol. To tomato off I had the most awesome delicious shrimp tacos that I've had in a very, very long time. It's worth the trip just to the shrimp tacos. Trust me people. This shit is the real real. The bomb!

Love the atmosphere at this fun place. I'm a plant girl and the place is surrounded with them! The vodka and soda I ordered was well made and my husband enjoyed his beer. The specialty cocktails look yummy and I'll have to try one next time. We sat outside on this warm late spring evening. I ordered the curried coconut mussels and he ordered the Lloyd personal pizza. The mussels were from the appetizer section but were plenty to eat as a main course. They were well cooked and soft not rubbery.I wish I had more toast to soak up the delicious sauce. My husband enjoyed his pizza which had hot honey, sausage and ricotta. It's not inexpensive but it's good.

Super cute and cozy place with friendly service. The food was good. We tried the short rib ragu pasta. The creme brulee for dessert was okay. Would definitely go back for a date night!

Street parking available. Restaurant is situated at the corner of a major junction. Patio seating was comfortable. Servers & staff were friendly. Ordered the shrimp tacos to share but I think it's good as an entree too since it's quite substantial. Very generous with the ingredients. Love the combination of sweet fruits, diced peppers and vegetable and grilled shrimp. The creamy dressing pulled all the flavors together. We also ordered the sliced pear and arugula pizza. The balance drizzle gave the pizza boost. My Cesar salad was sufficient. Was not too wet that I had to send it back. Will come back to try The Kurt Pizza next time.

This place is beautiful inside. It's cozy with nice lighting and lots of plants. We loved it. We came in for drinks and apps and it did not disappoint! The salted vanilla espresso martini is amazing...must try at least one! The sunshine Tina was delicious. It's a large scoop of guacamole with ahi tuna on top and served with fried wonton skins. I would love this as dinner! The pizza also had great flavors with arugula, pears and a nice drizzle of a balsamic reduction was delicious. Our waitress was amazing. Knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly as well as attentive. I would definitely come back here next time I'm in town!

Alert: First timer here. A few things to know beforehand. Parking is horrendous; there is No off street parking. Had to parallel park. I didn't see a changing table in the restroom. No high chairs, or at-least we asked for one and one was never delivered. That being said, not really a place for the kids more of an adult outting spot. Saturday night at 6pm showed up, sat right away. We wanted outdoors but we were not able to be accommodated with our request. A little disappointed as it was 80 and sunny. The indoors greets you with a warm welcome, divine presence of fresh flowers, cute little farm style tables and chairs, mostly mismatched and an array of different kinds of plants. We sat by the windows that had Edison lights around. Very cute, but no AC was on and the garage doors open to the outdoor patio needless to say there was no breeze to be felt and it was sweltering in the window seats. The food menu was a decent variety of dishes and additional menu for the pizzas. Pictured is all the menus we were given(food, beer, cocktails and wines). The presentation left something to be desired however the pretzels were very soft and just the right amount of salty crunch, it's served with a cherry beer cheese. The cauliflower bites were deliciously tasty and tender. Chicken sandwich was huge with nice juicy flavor and my favorite served with FRESH CUT fries. Beers ordered were basic, left me a little bitter. Margaritas were flavorful I was told. Our service was pretty mediocre nothing to write home about, nothing was above and beyond. Our highchair never had showed up even though we had asked a hostess for one. The nice thing about this restaurant was that there were different people from all walks of life. Huge range of ages from about 21-70, if I had to guess. Cute date night location in the future will definitely be back. Got to try to sit on that patio. Supposedly they carry brunch too!

My friend and I get together every 3 weeks and try a new place! This week's adventure was over to Emery's Garden. Upon arrival we were sat immediately with no wait, our server was quick and attentive ensuring we never had to wait for a refill. Food was also served quickly and did not disappoint. For drinks we had the prickly pear margarita and pumpkin spice espresso martini! They were so delicious and refreshing. For dinner my friend had chicken croquettes and I had the burger with a side salad. Both dishes came out hot and fresh, they were both tasty we had no complaints! For dessert we shared a crème brûlée, I had never had this before and it wasn't my favorite. My friend loved it but she loves crème brûlée! Over all we will definitely be back, it was such a cute homey environment with friendly staff and yummy food and drinks!

My boyfriend recently moved to Troy, and I come to visit from New York City. Emry's Garden is a gem and a real asset to the neighborhood. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are always welcoming. The manager, Carl, has such a genuine and friendly way about him, which I really appreciate. That kind of hospitality really stands out. The prices are reasonable, the drink quality is great, and they have a fantastic cocktail menu with a wide variety of options. Their weekday happy hour is also a great bonus, and the outdoor space is wonderful when the weather is nice. The food has been consistently excellent. I've had the pizza, seafood, and pasta, and my boyfriend loves the tacos, pizza, and pasta as well. We always leave satisfied. I would absolutely recommend Emry's Garden to friends, and honestly Carl's kindness alone would make me want to return. I aim to try the cauliflower the next time I go! It's reviewed well and smelt awesome the last time I was there (a girl next to me was eating it)

Emry's is such a cool place located in a really convenient spot in Troy! The decor was so cool and the place was so popular! Parking is pretty easy across the street in the lot. My friends and I came here for dinner and even with a reservation we had to wait a little so I definitely recommend making one if you're trying to go during peak hours. Their cocktails and beers were really good, I definitely recommend the Elderberry mule and poppyseed lemon drop! I also think their pretzel bites are a must have!! They were so soft and delicious especially with cheese, probably one of the best pretzel bites I've ever had. I did also enjoy the salmon BLT and my friends got the steak, burger, and personal pizza to share which were all pretty good. There is also a 2.5% cash discount.

Our second drink was treated similarly, though this time she demanded we leave the bar area we were standing at to move to the other side where her male coworker was making our last drink. It was so obviously direct disrespect and distaste for us as customers, I will not be returning. Oh, then last drink where my non-confrontational quiet friend got our third round - they served her vodka beverage from the same shaker as my mezcal drink and it tasted just like that, a mix of vodka and smoky tequila... no thanks. Bathrooms? No toilet paper. Drinks were actually delicious though, except for Kristen's third! Not busy enough to excuse this hospitality.

The Roosevelt Room in Troy was a great experience from start to finish. I was honestly expecting a standalone building, but it is tucked into a strip mall near HVCC. That said, parking was easy and stress free, which is always a plus. This was our first visit as a party of four, and the service was superb. The attention to detail really stood out and was noticed immediately. Our waitress checked in at the right times, kept drinks filled, and made sure everything came out exactly as expected. Meals are made to order, so substitutions were no issue at all, and it was nice to see gluten free options available. When you walk in, you pass through a curtain and are immediately greeted by a coat attendant who takes your coats, which instantly gives the place an upscale feel. The ambiance is well done, with soft lighting and nice background music. It is on the smaller side and dimly lit, but that is clearly intentional. The menus actually light up, which was a unique and thoughtful touch that fits the atmosphere perfectly. We had reservations and were seated right away. It did not seem necessary on this particular evening, but I would definitely recommend them on a weekend given the size of the space. The food itself was excellent. Everything we ordered was very tasty, and the presentation across the board was impressive. Desserts are prepared by a pastry chef and were just as good as the rest of the meal. It is definitely on the pricey side, but that is to be expected for the level of service and atmosphere. This feels like a special occasion type of place, and in that context, it is worth every penny. We really enjoyed our night and would absolutely come back. There was also a sign mentioning live jazz on Fridays, which sounds like a great added touch. Overall, a very strong 5 stars.
