Very attractive showroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Selection is largely on the grey scale which is good (for me). Range of prices and grades is good for any price point. Why only two stars? Well, I spoke with the Branch Manager who I assumed, being the Branch Manager, would be the most competent of the workers there. I selected a few tiles for my bathroom remodel and he helped me to narrow it down to two samples which he gave me to take home (full size tiles 12x24). That was very generous and greatly appreciated. He wrote up a price quote for me and I was on my way. I confirm with my contractors which tile would be best and I email the manager to let him know which item number I wanted to order. He emailed me an invoice and it had a completely different price. Ok. These things happen. I replied and confirmed details with him and he said he could honor the price he gave me on the initial estimate. Ok great. I confirm the final order with him and for 2 day delivery of the product. I checked the product number and amount and everything looked fine. Unfortunately, due to the price quote correction, I lost two days in production and was getting down to the wire. Delivery comes and I send my guys to pick up the order. I get home later that day and they tell me it's the wrong item. It's too late to order a new shipment so I have to use it. I checked the initial order and the final invoice and the product numbers were different. I ordered Polished ceramic, but what arrived was matte. I sent an email to Emser and the branch manager just said he could have another shipment delivered. No apology. No explanation. No offer of discount for ordering the WRONG ITEM. Nothing. Just "You want it or not" sort of approach. The shower turned out fine but not what I wanted and though it's not the end of the world, it is the end of my patronage of Emser. Large company with multiple locations across a few states. This review won't hurt them, but as a business owner myself, I can't support or recommend a group that handles things this way and I will take my 13 properties elsewhere. read more

Just visited multiple tile shops in Anaheim and other cities and if you are looking for tile, SKIP Emser Tile. We walked in and browsed the showroom for over 15 minutes and not one person greeted us or asked if we had questions. One of the workers was in a room on the phone, so maybe she was taking care of business. The other two female workers were just laughing with a male that seemed to either work there or know them. He left and they continued laughing, which is great, but still nothing from the workers. We walked around some more and then, finally decided to go to other tile stores. As we left, one of them looked at us and still said nothing. Non attentive customer service is almost as bad as being loudly rude. There are so many other shops, I would for sure go to those. read more

Went there yesterday, as my contractor recommended them. I wasn't even acknowledged my the gal at the counter for at least 6-7 minutes. Finally she says, " can I help you" without walking out from behind the counter. I told her I was having my kitchen and dining room remodeled and needed all new flooring , and then eventually backsplash as well. She said, " well you can make an appt with me and we can sit down and discuss it" I'm thinking, "ummm no, I drove here from Costa Mesa today, specifically to look at your stuff and get help finding tile that will go with my hardwood floor" . I even showed her my picture of my floor. Still disinterested. Was it because my hair was up in a headband, and i was wearing yoga pants and tee shirt with no make up? I'm not sure, but I took my $4200 and spent it a local Costa Mesa store, Tile Elements, today, where they actually took an interest in helping me find the right tile. My designer spent almost an hour and a half with me, offering great solutions! Your loss Emser Tile. Idiots. I hate crappy customer service, and can never understand a business that doesn't value each and every customer. Word of mouth is everything, good and bad. read more

I visited Emser Tile today and was very happy with the selection and the service I received. The young woman at the front desk was pleasant and very helpful. She provided me with some excellent advice in my quest to choose the right tile for my bathroom and powder room. She also gave me some samples to take with me. Although you can find Emser tile at many tile shopes, it was nice to have it all in one place, organized and well-displayed. Highly recommend. read more

Would like to give a zero rating since that's how we were treated...ignored. We're not greeted upon entry or exit. Walked around for 15/20 minutes. Several employees in the store, no one looked up. Finally left and the girl up front didn't even lift her head. I pointed out the disappointing experience while exiting and still got no response. What a joke. read more

Exceptional service! Jay has helped me on a number of tile orders and is always patient and polite. They always call me back, never charge for sample tile and shipments are always on time. When they ran out of a tile that I had been interested in, they helped me pick a comparable tile in color and price. The reviews I see here do not reflect my experience at Emser so maybe they got their act together. I highly recommend this shop. read more

I think I should never review a business having just visit there once. I went back because I found a tile I like! But they didn't have it in stock but I was able to find something else I like and work with. I really like the service Don and Antonio provided. They were kind and didn't make me feel 'stupid' because I didn't know what I needed but rather walked me through the process! I will go back! read more

We have gone back to Emser three times for different projects in our home. We looked other places, but always went back because the selection was great, the delivery was reliable, and customer service was excellent. We will absolutely come back to Emser when we have future tile needs. I ordered glass tile to use for a large wall in my pool and it turned out beautiful after looking at a ton of different tile stores (10-12 stores!). We actually found this particular tile also at another store, but went with Emser, who also carried it, because the sales associate, Luke Schneider, was so great to work with. Of all the stores I visited and spoke with sales associates, Luke absolutely stood out. Not only was he actually knowledgeable on the product, he gave great design recommendations, was quick to respond to our emails/phone calls, talked with our contractor to coordinate pickup while we were on vacation, and was extremely professional. My sister-in-law used him on her home remodel and recommended him to me after I had already visited many stores. I wish I had seen him first at Emser. In sum, we are really happy with how gorgeous the glass tile looks in our pool and thought working with Luke was outstanding. I recommend seeking him out if you are looking for tile. read more
