This company is deeply unprofessional and combative. They left cabinetry unfinished (exposed raw edges, missing skin panel) and still expected full payment. When the issue was raised, responsibility was repeatedly deflected, including attempts to push cabinet issues onto the appliance installer. Standards were minimized and the narrative was changed mid-conversation instead of simply fixing the work. The owner, Nima, was rude, dismissive, and argumentative with my project manager. Expect pushback the moment you enforce basic business standards like unfinished work not being paid in full. What truly crossed the line: they contacted my handyman directly and attempted to recruit him for work while actively on my project. That is unethical, inappropriate, and a major breach of professional boundaries. I was also informed that they offer $10 Starbucks gift cards in exchange for positive reviews, which should immediately raise red flags about the authenticity of their ratings. Overall: defensive, lazy follow-through, poor accountability, and aggressive when questioned. I recently went with City Tile & Cabinets to remodel my bathtub into a fully tiled shower, bathroom flooring installation, and demolition of a wall to make for a walk-in closet leading to the bathroom. The price, time, and quality exceeded my expectations! I had a small window of about 2 weeks without renters, and Nima ensured to make everything happen within the allotted time frame. There were also a multitude of design choices in the showroom, which Felix helped me decide on as well. I went with a subway tile and hexagon floor for the shower and the design came out beautifully and well done! BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!! THEY WILL ROB YOU!!!!!! If I can give them 0 stars I would!!! I had my kitchen done in the end of 2019 and the work went into the beginning of 2020! I had the displeasure of working with Wendi. At first she was great, I think it's because of the amount of money I was going to invest. The first of many issues I had was when Wendi decided on her own to switch out a vanity I wanted without telling me that the original one was out of stock. I ended up finding out once it was put together and about to be installed. Of course, I was LIVID. because she chose to make the decision without informing me of the situation. She told me they were custom made and one of her people came to measure. Come to find out from the owner, they're not custom and I had to contract someone else to get the new vanity with the right measurements in order for it to fit in my bathroom. Now with the kitchen, the installation of the kitchen was horrible!! The material is cheap and after 1YEAR ITS ALREADY FALLING APART!!!! It's literally plastic on the cabinets and I asked for shaker cabinets. They put plastic on the bottom which is now coming apart!!! When I had spoken to the owner, he said there was nothing he could do and that Wendi handles everything!!! And she says that she's the most qualified person!!! I paid over 13 grand for this crap!!! Plus I had to get other people to install the vanities because they wanted to charge me more after what I've already paid!! Plus, Wendi kept trying to hassle my 67 year old mother for money after I told her that she would deal with me. But I guess after the loud argument we had, she didn't want to deal with me anymore. Either way she had to if she wanted her money. DO NOT COME HERE!!! THEY HAVE CHEAP MATERIAL, THEY INSTALL IT HORRIBLY!!! AND TRY TO SWITCH THINGS WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT!!!! We came into their store to pick out the porcelain tiles and Felix worked with us to give a great deal on our two bathrooms that we wanted to renovate. Felix was very hands on and always communicated well with us on what to expect, etc. First, they did the tub to walk in shower for the guest bathroom. Gabriel and his team did all the demo and was there for the project from beginning to the end. Wow, our guest bath turned out beautiful! Then, Gabriel also did the master bath for us. The way the master bath was built, there were many cuts that he had to make but he always made sure that he did the job right and took great care all the way to completion. Gabriel and his team were so professional and always cleaned up after themselves. They stayed late on many occasions to try and get the work done. Our master bath turned out gorgeous as well. They have Versace tile! This is what makes City tile stand out from all the other tile stores on this street and the reason I returned a second time. First visit, only one guy working no chance to be helped, avoid going on Sundays. Second visit, Saturday a week later, I was helped, but felt the prices were just way too high and they were not willing to work with us one bit. I feel it would have been nice to get some kind of deal, especially since I was buying left over tiles that they have had laying around forever, not one penny off which kept me from buying tiles here and I got them at another store on this street. Very large store with a large selection of everything. The samples for the backslashes were very small cut. The smaller it is, the harder it is to tell what it will look like up against the wall. It would of been nice if it was at least a square foot big. Additionally, we found an item that was almost twice the amount compared to another store just down the street.
