A day or 2 following that night, we met at the actual funeral home with a girl named Iris. We could not have asked for a kinder individual, she helped us with everything! She went above and beyond and was so patient with the tough situation we were in. The gentleman that helped during the services was also so amazing. He made sure everything went so smoothly and was very kind as well, he felt like part of the family. We were walked through the entire process of how services would be held, walked through the difference in packages that were available, casket options, flower selection, and song choices. Fast forward several years until 2020 and the COVID19 pandemic and the sudden passing of my Father that once more brought me into this location. The funeral director was pretty helpful with things and it so went smoothly. We did have to wait a bit to have the service and we could only have 10 people there but Newcomer also posted the services online for our family in and out of state to watch. That was very nice. When the family went back to complete the arrangements, they were told that due to a higher paying client, they had no availability until the following week. Which was not our understanding. As if that was not enough, the day the information was given and our decision to go to another funeral home was made. Funeraria Latina informed us that our loved one had been picked up from the hospital and they would have the courtesy to hold the remains until we found a funeral home that was available. To our dismay, we find out that our loved one was never picked up and remained at the hospital. This funeral home has made our loss feel even more tragic. It felt as if they felt no sympathy towards our loss or respect to our loved one. I wouldn't recommend Funeraria Latina.

Your nose is assailed by the Suncor Refinery and your ears by what sounds like a nearby recycling facility and other industries. Nonetheless, it's an interesting place with Denver notables buried there as well as areas of the cemetery with various ethnic groups and soldiers.

Several clarifications, corrections, and re-dos from my end, and he was always kind and considerate. They have a beautiful selection of urns and specialized containers in the office, and those are works of art. In the end we selected one of the standard Cherry wood boxes that came included in the price (cherry or natural), and even that is a gorgeous container, well-finished and turned. AND, as my dad was a Veteran, the American flag was also presented in an absolutely beautiful wooden box (matches the Cherry wood perfectly), with a wood and beveled glass lid. We were highly impressed with the professionalism and kindness demonstrated by Larry, and the efficiency with which our needs were addressed. Thank you so much!
