I told her many times that I did not want to be bigger than I was. Once it was finished and I was at my post-op she said "I had hoped to make you bigger but it wasnt safe" which shows she didnt listen to me at all and I am indeed bigger than I wanted. I have young children including a baby and work at a daycare and she had to advice about how to help prevent damage or injury with little ones. Luckily I had a nurse who was able to help with suggesting protective pillows, etc. As I mentioned I told her each time I had a baby. The whole time I was told no lifting more than 10 pounds for 6 weeks. I planned for 6 weeks to have help from family and friends. At my post-op at 6 weeks she said everything looked good. I said "Ok so I can lift my 25 lb baby now" She said no, you want to wait 3 more months to lift that much weight. I said "Thats something you should've told me before." She rudely replied "Would that have changed anything?" YESSSS I wouldnt have done this part of it! Luckily I have had 4 cousins who have gone through reconstruction (with different doctors) and each of their doctors said 4-6 weeks and then they could lift their children, babies, costco groceries, etc. No one ever said 3 months, she is just afraid of being sued. Not to mention, one of my breasts is dented a bit. Would NOT recommend.

But she couldn't tell me if this was the rare side affect that occurs (which I was aware of- but she mentioned that was visibility much different) she couldn't identify what went wrong, she couldn't even say if this was permanent or not. The best she could do was apologize and say shed submit the case to Coolsculpting. Furthermore, halfway through treatment she felt I was no longer a good candidate for coolsclptiing so she cancelled future appointments out of caution- and I hadn't even achieved results I was hoping for, so I felt like I was now left to deal with this growth area on my own. Although she was very understanding and had a good attitude and her staff was great during my treatments, it's very evident, at Coolcontours they are only knowledgeable of the device itself and have very little knowledge of the biology behind it. There was a misdiagnosis or something was missed on their part for this to have happened. Months later, I've had to make drastic dietary changes and have been dealing with new body image issues which I did not have prior to coming to Coolcontours.

A woman was standing in the doorway of the Surgery Center and asked if I had a poop bag for my dog. I said yes, but informed her my dog had not pooped yet and would pick it up if she did. Her co-worker then proceeded to come to the door and in a rude and disrespectful tone told me I needed to pick up after my dog. I informed the second person that my dog had not pooped yet and would pick it up if she did. She then proceeded to argue with me so I asked her to point out where she thought my dog had pooped and I would walk over there to look (I knew she hadn't pooped, but I thought I would entertain her). She caught a whole attitude and told me that she would not be doing that and I should know where my dog pooped. I honestly drug my dog back 20 feet to check the dirt patch then I just continued on our walk. I understand that if I had an attitude with her that I deserved the attitude back but I was not in any way disrespectful. I didn't appreciate her attitude over the misunderstanding. If this is the way staff treats someone walking by, I can't imagine how they treat the customers/patients.
