    Blueberry matcha
    Deborah C.

Popped in on a whim after seeing Enclave all over my Instagram feed. The space was cute and very clean, staff was very friendly. I ordered a blueberry matcha and a biscuit to take to work with me and goodness gracious they were amazing. I think they source the matcha right from Japan , love to see it! I will be back.

I was in town for a quick work trip and a fellow Yelper suggested I visit Enclave since I was staying fairly close by. I'm a matcha fan so when I looked at their menu, I was even more sold on the idea. Tremont is a lovely area of Cleveland so being able to drive through was an added bonus. I arrived to discover a vibrant, yet quaint, shop. The big windows let the sunshine pour in while the exposed brick and plants gave it a naturalesque feel to it. They had a few tables and a bar area facing outside. They have a cute bookshelf back towards the bathroom, which was nice and clean. The service was friendly, but a little slow. That said, I know they are pretty new and I could hear them discussing the improvements they could make as they worked. We love to hear that! As for my matcha, I went with an iced black sesame latte with oatmilk and it was heavenly. I could tell they use a higher quality matcha than other places and the black sesame flavor had a subtle nutty taste to it. I also ordered a biscuit sandwich with egg and cheese. While tasty, I do wish I added a sauce of some type to it. They do have some things you can add on, including some fun options like everything chili crispy and cilantro chimichurri. Overall, I hope they do well and I would totally return!

I am a huge matcha fan and it's sad we don't have a huge matcha scene here until now! So excited to have this store be all about matcha! They do the strawberry puree super well and it pairs perfectly with the drink. I also love that they serve matcha tea as is too to keep it authentic like how Japan is. They also have cute books about matcha by the window for reading pleasure. This is definitely a must get anytime I'll be in Tremont!

They have delicious and unique cocktails in addition to lovely matcha drinks and some food. My carrot ginger marg was fantastic! The hoagie was well dressed with turkey arugula jam and cheese. Very humid inside but you adjust quickly.

So excited to have a matcha place in Cleveland! Went on a Saturday morning and it was busy, but that was expected given how new the cafe is. The inside is cute with a couple tables if you want to dine in. I got the strawberry matcha which was delicious. Unfortunately they were out of the breakfast sandwiches when I went, but I'll definitely be back to try those and other items on the menu!

    Biscuits and sesame matcha latte

The biscuits are so fresh and flavorful. I loved both sandwiches - one with egg tomato avocado and chimichurri, the other with chilli crisp everything seasoning egg and ham. My latte was perfect as well. I'm so glad Tremont has a matcha spot with excellent food! Can't wait to try the cocktails

Iced Strawberry Matcha and Fancy Biscuit sandwich
    April K.

I'm matcha obsessed so I had to make a visit here as soon as I heard about it. It did not disappoint! I had the iced strawberry matcha with oat milk. It was perfect. I'm not certain, but I don't think any extra syrups or sugars were added, just the strawberry puree and whatever sweetness is in the oatmilk, so it wasn't a sugar bomb like many places make. Just a pleasant tasting matcha (exactly how I like it). Also ordered the Fancy Biscuit sandwich (egg, ham, fig jam, blue cheese, arugula) and it was so delicious! The biscuit was perfectly flaky but not oily and the fillings were unique. The inside of the cafe is bright and cute, but small. However, I was there on a busy weekend, and even though it was always packed, the table turnover was at a pace that no one was left standing. So it's probably exactly the right size. This will be added to my regular rotation!

Came opening morning and loved the drink options! I had a black sesame latte w oat milk and my friend had a persimmon matcha latte both tasted very good! The black sesame is nutty and really complemented the earthy matcha. The persimmon jam served with the biscuits was also so yummy and fresh. I loved the natural lighting in the cafe. Limited seating though.

I'm so happy Enclave opened in Tremont! It's a wonderful spot with friendly service, wide variety menu, and it's very clean. Might be one of the best matchas I've had! Excited to make frequent stops here this summer

The whole thing was covered with a gravy, chock full of sausage and, perfectly cooked mushrooms. I got a sweet potato cinnamon bun to go. Can't wait to try that later today!

Both were delicious! The biscuit was perfectly buttery, and it was covered in a rich, flavorful mushroom gravy and came with scrambled eggs. It was filling but somehow not too heavy. I licked my plate clean. The pancake was also wonderful. It was topped with a thin layer of rhubarb jam that brought a nice tartness along with a dollop of sorghum butter and whipped cream, and served with Ohio maple syrup on the side. I could have easily had a whole stack of the pancakes. The staff was friendly, and though the place was busy, the service was efficient. Excited to come here again! We shared the loco moski, paprikash sandwich, and a side of bacon wrapped tots (good option if you just want 2 and not the full appetizer). While the bacon wrapped tots are famous from Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, I actually liked the loco moski and paprikash sandwich more. The loco moski is a fun combination between a loco moco but with pierogi, and I like that the peppered gravy wasn't too rich. The paprikash sandwich was also a great combo of chicken, sausage, peppers, cheese, paprikash, on lightly crispy bread. Parking available as free street parking--though you may have to circle to find parking since it's near the Christmas House. Staff were nice and efficient. The place does feel a little tight in terms of space with less lighting, but there's still plenty of seating and what matters to me more is good food. Overall, great place to try local food. Would get the loco moski and paprikash sandwich again.

I wanted to try the pierogi and the Polish boy and the KRAUT and having an extensive beer menu doesn't hurt either. Friendly neighborhood watering hole literally on the corner and basically across the street from the a Christmas story house allowing you to eat within eye sight of the leg lamp. I wanted basically everything from the menu that came vegan (spoiler alert there are tons and tons of things) but gastric space comes at a premium on vacation so we settled on the fried cheese. I was very excited to see the Polish boy (and vegan option no less) I didn't have much of a choice. GF ordered the vegan pierogi platter with vegan kielbasa on a bed of kraut. Firstly the fried cheese was head and shoulders above any mozz sticks or anything of the sort that I have had in memory. The breading is seasoned and crispy and heaven on earth. The cheese is PIPING. Like you will burn yourself if you, like me, have no patience. The accompanying tomato sauce is also steaming. So good. The Polish boy was also in a league of its own. Love that they have a vegan version. What a combo. Probably one of Cleveland's most important community contributions. We ordered the latkes to go and they were orgasmic. What a special place.

We were totally fine with that, went and grabbed a coffee from a local shop, and then returned to the restaurant. Food was great and the server was so kind! The reason for the 3-star review is because the hostess was very rude. She completely shattered an easy 5-star review. We had nine people in the family, and one was golfing. We intended to put in a takeout order for him but due to the 45-minute wait, he ended up finishing before we were even seated. We invited him to come along and then we were called to be sat. We ordered his meal for him prior to him arriving and this was still a major problem for the hostess. She basically threatened to move us back outside and told us we were "holding the table" even though we would have never done that. Instead of giving me the opportunity to explain to her we would have done takeout anyways had he not arrived(but he did because again, it was a 45 minute wait), she just continued to talk over me. It made all of us very uncomfortable and the first 10 minutes we felt very on edge and unwelcomed. She then did the same thing to our ninth person when they walked in the restaurant 5 minutes after. He had no idea what had already occurred and was also caught off guard. Most of us worked in this industry in the past, and we thought we were doing the right thing by letting her know. Thank you to everyone else who helped soften our experience. It was very appreciated. Every person who brought a dish to our table was extremely kind. We all had something different on the menu and there were no complaints!

It's tucked away in a residential area inside an old house, giving it a charm that's impossible to manufacture. The interior is unpretentious, cozy, and full of character... and maybe a few characters too. The barkeeps have plenty of personality. There are no robotic greetings or scripted welcomes here, just genuine hospitality from people who seem happy to be behind the bar. Whiskey dominates the spirits menu, but there's plenty else to choose from. And don't let the casual vibe fool you--you can absolutely get a serious cocktail here, expertly made and perfectly balanced. On the food side, if you've had one too many and need something substantial to soak up the drinks, may I suggest the Polish Platter? It's an absolutely delicious gut bomb loaded with pierogies, stuffed cabbage, Polish sausage, noodles, and potato cakes. The cabbage, sausage, and pierogies were all fantastic. Prosperity Social Club is the kind of place every city wishes it had: authentic, welcoming, and completely devoid of pretense. I'm so sad about this, but this was not my favorite experience at Leavened. Customer service was great of course but my selections fell short. I got a mushroom and ricotta croissant, which was fine. I forgot the ricotta was supposed to be there because it mostly tasted liked mushroom, but it was good. I also got the cinnamon monkey bread. This was not good. It was seemingly cooked in the paper that it was served in so the top of the bread pieces were crunchy, the middle was softer and then everything else was completely stuck to the paper. I didn't get to eat about 1/3 of what I paid for and I had to work really hard for the other 1/3. Also, the bread had a very spicy taste. It must have been cinnamon and allspice, but it was entirely too much and very overpowering. It truly tasted like a spicy savory bread which is not what I was expecting or wanted. Monkey bread is usually gooey and sweet. This missed the mark, but that's okay. I'll certainly return for another treat soon. Also the bread was looking fire this day.

The guy at the register said the bread pudding still has a "cinnamon roll base, so it has orange in it" despite nothing in the sign denoting this awful addition to bread pudding and the fact that cinnamon rolls are not orange rolls. But I digress and I won't fight with a cashier over their poor decisions lol. Also got a cherry chocolate sourdough on impulse. Pray it is soft inside.
