I'm reluctant to write a negative review, but I feel the need to forewarn others who may consider using this company. Omar, Ilse and a few young guys who did the "work". I had a burst pipe in my small laundry room and my handyman referred Independent Plumbing & Drain Care. They were fantastic but then referred Endeavor because there was evidence of mold. Omar came over right away and although, I never had or experienced having 4 mold, I felt that what he wanted to do and how it was explained to me, seemed legit. He quoted me $3,800. The area involved was 3'x 8' and some other small areas. It seemed very high, but I went ahead because he was a referral from this great plumber. I then after thinking about it, checked his Yelp reviews and although some were good, there were some that told me my suspicions and that I was getting ripped off. Big house, gated community, lady, no man around. We scheduled and he and 3 young guys showed up to do the 'demolition'. He told them what to do and he left after he asked me to pay $1,900 up front, balance when the job was done. I thought this was not a job for 3 guys. One guy could have done it, easily enough. Omar told me they'd be here most of the day. They started 9:30am and at noon, I didn't hear anything and checked the room and they were gone. 2.5 hours. Didn't let me know they were leaving, which I thought quite unprofessional. I looked around and saw what I thought was mold in another whole area and there were no fans on it so I took a photo and texted it to Omar, and he told me (just by looking at a photo) that it wasn't mold, but he'd send his guys back to check. Which they did, they sprayed again and moved a fan to the area of my concern. I asked if he was coming to check on their work (as their supervisor). He said he could come in a few days. I was now starting to get really annoyed and decided to look into further what it would cost to do this type of job and at the highest rates for 3 guys in for a 2.5-3 hr job, this job at $1900 was still too high, never mind $3,800. I decided this guy wasn't getting a dime more and I requested an itemized statement. He at that point said that he'd made a mistake and it was only $2,800 not $3,800. When he came 3 days later to pick up the 2 fans and 1 de-humidifier, I told him of my research and he said that he spoke to the office (uh, Ilse?) and they could reduce the price to $2,000 at which point I said I wasn't giving him any more money. He was fine with that, "$100 wasn't a big deal". So today 2 weeks later (because I texted him twice about getting the itemized statement), I finally get the statement, not itemized. Why am I not surprised. What I thought would be a good experience, turned out to be a bad one. Lesson learned. I hate dishonesty. If he'd just done the right thing, he'd be getting a really good review. I'm letting my plumber know of my experience, he's very interested and Endeaver, you blew it. Karma is a b*#+h read more

3 weeks ago I had the biggest panic of my life when I found water damage in my floors. My neightbor referred me to Endeavor. They sent someone over right away to check it out and found where the leak was coming from. I had some water damage last week of September and I was panicking! I called my daughter and she recommended Endeavor, they used them for their rental property after a tenant clogged the toilet and overflowed the second floor. My washing machine backed up while we were at the movies. It was a huge mess. There was water all the way into my living room affecting my hardwood floors. I called them and they came that same day within the hour. They dried everything with their big blue industrial machines. This company had renovated our kitchen a few years ago under an insurance claim. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were quick to come to assist.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What was promised to be a few-week project was nine months long, additional 'extra' charges to the insurance company, and broken promises about the fix. We were issued a three-year warranty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Around the two-year mark, we kept trying to contact them regarding the warranty work, requesting to get some repairs. We were ignored.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]At the three-year mark, we called at least once a week to get them to come out and fix the broken cabinets. They finally sent a guy out here to look and told us he would work with the cabinet company to find out about new cabinets.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We continued to call...it's been nine months with no return phone calls, no answer to emails or texts. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!!!! Beware & please stay far away from this company, they are criminals! Unless you want to throw away all your money to these scammers. Omar & Ilse take advantage of people at their most vulnerable. They lie & manipulate just to get your business when you are in a state of emergency. This company is by far the absolute worst company I've ever worked with & I wish I paid more attention to all the bad yelp reviews. Speaking from experience now unfortunately, I agree with all of them! These guys are running a fraudulent business. They worked on both water damage in my house & "construction" which I use loosely since they don't know anything about construction & completely tortured me with the worst experience ever. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM & READ YOUR CONTRACT! They put false inaccurate charges hoping you won't notice & will just pay. Please also check their license #'s they have 2 different ones, which is incredibly suspicious since one of them is a completely different business name. 1100116 is for Endeavor & 1064204 is for GREEN ANT CONSTRUCTION, which does not have workmen's compensation insurance & that's obviously illegal. In fact it has a completely different address & information when you look it up. They had me sign a contract that said Endeavor but with The Green Ant Construction license # & didn't divulge that to me. Seems very shady! My project was supposed to be done in 3 weeks & it went on for 2 months with almost nothing being done. They would not show up for days at a time & when they did it was for maybe 4 hrs a day. The bare minimum was done & they would charge a premium & produce the cheapest results. The couple things they did were done so poorly that they had to be redone. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The worst customer service ever! No one will return your calls, texts or emails. I had to literally send 10 texts & emails to maybe fingers crossed get a response.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Omar & Ilse are the "owners" & they will act nice at first until they get your business. Then they treat you like shit! They are not trust worthy & could care less. They literally look at you as a $ sign & treat you so poorly. They will also charge you a $1250 "consultation" fee they claim is industry standard, which is a complete lie. The estimator Richie came to my house for 5 min then immediately sent me a link to pay the $1250. He then was supposed to "manage" the project. He never showed up to oversee anything & everything went wrong. He is lazy & never responds to texts or emails. CA state law requires a project manager to be present for at least 30 min a day every day during the duration of project. It even states that in their own contact. They were in breech of their own contact & state law since he nor his sub contractor ever showed up to supervise. They were never there overseeing the project not even for 5 min a day! Then they bring in a sub contractor, Angel. Never gave me his license # or company name. He's worse then Richie. All talk no action. In addition they have Alex, their bookkeeper at the company. He literally only wants to collect $ & pushes for payments when no services have been rendered. Finally they just stopped showing up to my project all together & left me without a kitchen with 2 little kids. Which is yet another breach of contract. Completely ghosted me so I asked them to come pick up all the mess they left behind & get out of my life!! Then they had the audacity to threaten me with a mechanics lien. I already paid them $11k for nothing! They swindled me & now they are trying to strong arm me with threatening a lien to collect an additional $12k!!! I mean if this is not FRAUD I don't know what is?? My new contractor said they definitely took advantage of me & was shocked at what he walked into. He said it looked like they didn't know what they were doing & they definitely weren't a legit construction company. He recommend that I report them to the contractors board. I advise all the people who have been taken advantage of by this horrible company to do that. I have now had to pay double to fix what they destroyed at my house. Not only for the construction that was incomplete but also all the damages to my property, furniture & appliances that they refused to pay for. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! It's a complete scam & the worst decision I have ever made. It has caused my entire family an incredible amount of stress & anxiety. My poor little kids have suffered the most, on the side lines watching their parents struggle with the nightmare that this company has made us endure! I had water damage. A toilet in the upstairs apartment had been dripping onto the ceiling of the downstairs apartment. Omar showed up wearing a Covid mask. He found mold (hazardous waste) & gave me a couple of options with expenses. A team wearing masks arrived the next day. The job took several hours, then they placed a huge fan to remove the moisture. The fan was to stay 3 days, but Endeavor left it for 5 days to ensure dryness. The team took moisture readings at various times. After completion, Omar gave me a Damage Report of what they found with pictures. The entire Endeavor company was terrific. Someone was always available to answer questions -- day or night. Omar in the field, Ilsse in the office, & the rest of the team coordinated their schedules with the renters' & my schedules. They went the extra mile to make sure everyone was happy. Our entire downstairs flooded and had extensive mold. We called Omar with Endeavor for mold remediation. We were very happy with the job and he assured us it was safe to move into the house and was mold free. Sadly, it was VERY far from mold free. We called him out 3 separate times and STILL there was mold. And not just a little mold. Quite a bit. I have 4 kids. We need to be able to live safely in our house. I lost all trust in Omar and his crew and so we had another company rip out all of the drywall that still had mold and do the job Omar had assured us he did. We assumed the headache with Omar was over, and the mold was gone. But, the tile that Omar promised us time and time again did not have mold, has been tested and is covered in mold underneath it. Once again we will have to pay ANOTHER company to do the job he should have done. If you want the job done correctly and right the first time save yourself the nightmare and use ANYONE else but Endeavor.
