a group of people sitting at a bar

This place sucks plain and simple and Tony (the owner), is a total douche of the highest order in my opinion, please allow me to explain. I have spent thousands in this place over the last five or so years. What blows me away is that I have known the owner Tony for over 5 years, and in this time I have purchased lots of very expensive wine from him. Every time I walk in there the owner calls me by a different name like Steve or Mike ,I am like who is that? I happened to be there the other night when it was Tony's birthday as I was there for a business meeting with a partner, we spent about $150 that night. Everybody was dancing and having a good time, when I was recording them dancing to share with my wife as to what she was missing. Without notice, the owner and his brother tackled me and began pushing me forcefully out the door from the from of the bar, all the way to the front door, with out any notice or explanation and said "Get out Asshole, no one does that to my family". Since I did not feel like fighting with him, as I generally liked him, I just got pushed out the door and left. So if you want to go the a place where you can get assaulted by the owner-(Tony) and his family and bullied and still spend lots of your hard earned money on over priced wine and still get treated like trash, then this is the place for you. I felt truly sad and let down by this guy. I think he is not well and needs help. If you want wine at a good price, then go to Total Wine and More. You will save yourself a lot of money and potential assault. The owner, Tony does not care about his customers nor his business.

    a bottle of wine

The best customer service I have ever encountered at a local wine tasting buisness. The owner is so nice, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the wine selection. Will spend time with you and displays great kindness in his professionalism. Will.continur to be a customer and visitor. Anybody who writes a bad review can go to another town like hanford. Lol love love love love this place so much!

No wine tasting. Staff took forever to come out from the back room, was rude and dismissive.

My wife and I stop in occasionally to do some wine tasting. The owner is always here and is the nicest guy. We always have a good time.

Sales associate's knowledge was so so. The prices weren't too high. If you know what you want give the place a try.

The wines we were able to try were great, and it felt like a nice spot for a small celebration. One small disappointment was that they were out of a few wines and gelato we were interested in trying, apparently because of an event earlier in the evening. It limited the selection a bit for us, which was a little unfortunate. I did enjoy many of the cocktails, especially the Drop the Lemon (delicious lemon drop) and the Caramel Apple Carousel (tastes like apple pie!). We also enjoyed the Petite Charcuterie board, which was a great selection for a small group. That said, our server Esteban really made the experience. He was super chill, friendly, and attentive. He gave great suggestions and made sure our group was taken care of throughout the night. He has such fun energy and really made sure we had a great time as well. Overall, a very nice place for a birthday gathering, and Esteban's service definitely stood out. I'd come back again to try more of their wines!

To my surprise I was expecting more food options and I think they should add more! I ended up ordering The Pesto Stack and it was pretty good. The mimosas were strong ! Perfect! Since it was a Sunday , it was pretty empty up until 1-2 hours before closing. Service did take some time and forgot to bring some items BUT they were on top of it. I am curious to see how it is on other days! Nice and aesthetic place.

The drinks were so good and the menu looked amazing too! They have so many options to choose from, perfect place to share a few bites with a group. The setup itself is just weird; you have to stand outside and wait for someone to come out to seat you. When you go inside, its small and has kind of a "bar meets saddam hussein's palace" kind of vibe, there is gold everywhere in here. Not to mention its a bar that has been converted into a restaurant, its separated by the check-in desk by drapery. One good point is that all of the staff is very friendly and attentive, although I think our waitress had to cover every table in the place, which seems kind of not great for her! We started with some drinks, they were both good, no complaints there. After they came we ordered our food, we ordered them one at a time. First up was the bacon wrapped dates. These were pretty good, the bacon was cooked well and had some good crisp, it paired well with the dates and cheese inside. The walnut was kind of weird and my wife and I both thought for a second the date pit hadn't been removed. Next we got the corn empanadas, these were disappointing but not awful. The dough was cooked fine but it has absolutely no flavor, like nothing at all. The filling was also cooked ok, the corn had good texture, but similarly, had no flavor, about the only thing I could tint was a tiny bit of cilantro. Once you dip it in the sauce that comes with it, things improve, but we both felt the empanadas should be able to stand on their own. The last tapas item we got was the costillas al ajillo, these were both disappointing AND awful. They are advertised as "fall off the bone fried rib tips, garlic infused olive oil, crisp garlic chips" The only thing crispy about this was the meat itself, it was incredibly dry and had no flavor. There was a little bit of olive oil and some minced garlic, but not "crispy garlic chips". Credit where credits due they took if off the bill, but it was just incredibly bad. We finished with the chocolate flan which was quite good, no complaints there. All in all it was disappointing and I don't know that we would come back.

Anyways, with regards to the food, my partner and I got some spicy baked mussels to share, with a ribeye steak and lamb chops for entrees. The mussels were pretty underwhelming - I felt that it was just spicy for the sake of being spicy and didn't offer much in terms of flavor. With the entrees, we asked for the lamb chops to be cooked medium but they came rare, whereas the steak did come in medium rare as ordered. The lamb chops were okay but the steak was extremely salty and a bit too charred; I had to wash down my bites with water. With both entrees we were given a choice of either rice pilaf or garlic baked potatoes. The rice pilaf legit tasted like elementary school lunch rice (the ones with the teriyaki meat patties if you recall the 2000s, iykyk). The potatoes were alright, not bad but not great. Also wanted to note that both dishes came with like 2-3 tiny cherry tomatoes which is barely anything and would last you at most a couple of bites. Last thing I wanted to note is pricing. The lamb chops were in the upper $30s and the steak was $59, which pretty overpriced imo for whay is presented. Of course, that's also on me for trying to go for a "16 oz" steak (which I kinda doubt it was) vs. their pastas or other popular dishes but I think it's worth pointing out. All in all, I really think you can get much better bang for your buck at other semi-fancy/fancy places such as LimeLite or Willow Osteria to name a couple of examples. I would give this a 1 but the service was admittedly quite solid. Sadly, I don't think we'll come back.
