Ambiance: Staff were extremely accommodating. We had a special celebration at this establishment and found them to be extremely helpful and warm, helping us create a perfect and very happy event. This place sucks plain and simple and Tony (the owner), is a total douche of the highest order in my opinion, please allow me to explain. I have spent thousands in this place over the last five or so years. What blows me away is that I have known the owner Tony for over 5 years, and in this time I have purchased lots of very expensive wine from him. Every time I walk in there the owner calls me by a different name like Steve or Mike ,I am like who is that? I happened to be there the other night when it was Tony's birthday as I was there for a business meeting with a partner, we spent about $150 that night. Everybody was dancing and having a good time, when I was recording them dancing to share with my wife as to what she was missing. Without notice, the owner and his brother tackled me and began pushing me forcefully out the door from the from of the bar, all the way to the front door, with out any notice or explanation and said "Get out Asshole, no one does that to my family". Since I did not feel like fighting with him, as I generally liked him, I just got pushed out the door and left. So if you want to go the a place where you can get assaulted by the owner-(Tony) and his family and bullied and still spend lots of your hard earned money on over priced wine and still get treated like trash, then this is the place for you. I felt truly sad and let down by this guy. I think he is not well and needs help. If you want wine at a good price, then go to Total Wine and More. The wines here can be pretty expensive but the owner is such a nice man! I came in during lunch when I was working at the Fresno Army Reserve center so was in my uniform and the gentlemen comp the bottle I chose! Stopped in to check out the place because I have never been before. I was initially greeted and served. One word when you walk in.... WOW! You enter these large wood/glass doors to enter into a store that looks more like a vineyards tasting room. Dark woods, chandlers, marble countertops, etc..... Wines range from a handful of grocery store wines to high end wines and also some allocation only wines. Oh they also have a nice selection of beers for those of you who don't drink wine. Prices are comparable to other wine shops in town. Nice comfortable setting for wine tasting and relaxing. Tony and Kathie make it a very enjoyable experience. Just like any new shop there are some things that can be worked on...... 1) Hours M-Sat 11-7 and Sun 11-6 Probably should be M-Th 11-7 or 8 and F-Sat 11-8 or 9, Sun looks ok 2) Its kinda like a maze to get to the tasting area. (This was very apparent during the Italian wine tasting last Friday). 3) Speaking of the tasting area, its beautiful but when busy it gets kinda cramped. 4) Corkage = $10, Had not seen any of the other wine shops in town do this but i think that if a customer sees an additional $10 on a bottle of wine that they just purchased to drink there, it might make them think twice of drinking there. Owner caters to rich regulars always. If you are are not in the exclusive rich peoples wine club$$ then go literally anywhere else and get much less markedup priced wine. read more

Great find, great place! We came across this little gem several months ago and have been coming back to buy wine ever since.  The ambience is comfortable and at times very lively. It's also a great spot to enjoy a glass of wine with friends. The staff is great too. They're very helpful and knowledgable. They are ready to step in with suggestions or to answer any questions related to wine and pairing.  And the selection is pretty awesome. Stocked with wines I don't see in most grocery stores and other wine stores. And great prices to boot! The owners are incredibly nice, knowledgeable and want nothing but for you to enjoy your time and enjoy the wine. Food can be ordered from next door at Patio Cafe, which is pretty average. Tastings are usually once a month and I've never been disappointed. Joining the club is well worth it and you always get wine that exceeds your membership price. read more

So, when I went in to Bella Vino to ask for help choosing a moderately priced wine for an important business dinner, I was extremely pleased with the kind guidance I got from the owner. He helped me pick out two good bottles, and, when he found out we were going to be dining at Parma, he let me know there were no corkage fees on bottles purchased at Bella Vino. Tony is pretty well versed and knowledgeable. He explained what "tannins" mean and how to taste wine in general. Overall prices are competitive considering they're in the Fig Garden Village. Love the place and the owners are very nice and helpful. I agree that it is more a vineyard type shop than a wine store. Nice selections for it's size, and you can find varietals that are not common in other stores. Top wines for the price ranges and selections from all over the world. I have not bought and then had the bottle on site so I was not aware of a corkage fee. I would think a nominal fee to cover washing, breakage, etc of the glasses, but $10 is way overpriced. I could see price tag like that if you were bringing in a bottle, not one you bought on site. A wonderful family owned business! I make the 40+ mile trip to buy from this shop. read more

Recently, I visited both Bella Vino and the Tasting Room. At Bella Vino, I was totally ignored and no one helped me. Therefore, I left since I figured they didn't want my business. I then left and went to the tasting room. Both businesses were fairly busy with customers, how at the Tasting Room, I was greeted and immediately taken care of. Several different employees catered to my needs and were very friendly. Therefore, I purchased several items from the Tasting Room and will definitely go back. My mother came down from San Diego. We drove up from Hanford. We couldn't even enter the door abd she told us they don't do wine tasting. We arrived at 3, they were clearly open and we were denied service. I didnt get her name but she was a skinny woman about 5'4 with short blonde hair cut in a bob and in her early 50's. She told us that we could come back at 4 if we wanted to buy a bottle but her bottles were $40+. As if we couldn't afford to buy a $40 bottle. After she basically kicked us out 5 minutes later she shows up at the GNC we were in which is located in the same shopping center where she proceed to tell us to not come back because they are having event but if we wanted to taste she said maybe come back st 5. She said this with her back turned and walking out the door. I was completely in shock to be treated that way. We are regular wine drinkers and have membership members to many Temecula Wineries so this was disheartening. They shouldn't advertise for wine tasting read more

My wife and I are not educated in the art of wine making. We don't always drink the wine that is recommended for the food we eat or do we consider the appropriate glass to drink out of, but we know the wines we like.
