Very disappointing experience. I was so excited to visit this toy store because I truly love supporting family-owned businesses. I went in looking for NeeDoh toys for my kids. The shelves were mostly sold out, but when I called, I was told they would be receiving a shipment soon. Like any parent trying to find something their kids really want, I rushed over. Thankfully, they did have some NeeDoh in stock, and I was happy to finally find a place that carried them. The man working there, who seemed to be the manager or possibly the owner, was helpful at first. I was able to purchase a couple and asked about a specific NeeDoh my kids had been searching for. He told me it would arrive in the afternoon. I offered to leave my phone number so I wouldn't have to keep driving back and forth, but he said not to worry and that he would keep one aside for me. He didn't take my number. Later that afternoon, I called to check, and he seemed annoyed that I was following up. I decided to stop by the next day since my kids were collecting them. When I walked in, he gave me a look as if he was irritated that I was back. I politely asked again about the item, explaining how excited my kids would be. He said it wasn't in yet but would arrive later and that he would call me -- even though he never took my number, which surprised me. I purchased another item he had on the counter while still waiting for the specific one my kids wanted. During checkout, he seemed annoyed again. I brushed it off and left. I never received a call. When I tried calling the next day, no one answered. I even called the other store location, but again there was no answer. So I decided to visit the other store in person. The same man was there, and he clearly recognized me. He gave me a look as if to say, "You again," and ignored me while I walked around the store. When I approached him to ask about Jellycat items, he simply pointed behind the counter where they were displayed and didn't offer to show them to me. They were behind the register -- how was I supposed to look at them? His behavior felt dismissive and rude, so I left. I am a paying customer who has already spent over $150 there, simply trying to buy toys for my children. How can you not love supporting a local toy store?? Every toy you can imagine is here. Yes, a little more pricy than online but you're supporting local! There is a back play area by the infant toys. While walking around, associates would keep letting us know to let them know if we needed anything. All in all, I'm happy this store is here even though my bank account won't be as my kid grows up. read more

This is probably the best toy store Ive ever been in. Vast selection of well made toys and good brands. Lego, Hape, Brio etc. This is a small business owned toy store, you are not going to get Amazon prices. Theres still great value in shopping at a physical toy store especially with your kids or grandkids. We spent close to an hour just wandering around in the store with my grandson looking at everything. There was also a story time and we met the author and creator of Prehistoric Pals which was a bonus. Go check this toy store out. So much to spark your child's imagination! read more

Customer service is horrible along with the communication and policy or who is able to make decisions as a "manager" .I spoke with a manager last week at engine ear his name was manny....i spoke to him about a toy we bought at the end of September which was a "drone" jet for my son. It started experiencing issues after a couple weeks and I chalked it up to a low battery issue. Speaking with manny I told him our situation about the battery having issues and needing to be pushed or held occasionally for the drone to establish full power in order to take off and he had told me no problem to bring the drone back and they would exchange it. Fast forward to tonight I walked into the store around 6:40pm and spoke with Jockson and repeated the conversation I had with manny and asked him if I could go get it and bring it by so he could do the exchange to which jockson stated that he was the other manager and yes I could go get the drone and he would take care of it. I went to my house grabbed the drone and came back. Jockson tested the battery and it had an issue when I first turned it on then it worked ok after that a couple times. He said if I still wanted to exchange it we could do that. He asked if I had the receipt or box and to which I stated I will look on my phone and find the receipt but didn't have the box he called the owner and explained to the owner that I bought the drone originally in July which was an estimate while I was looking for my receipt and he also stated that I didn't have the box which was true and also that the drone worked fine which technically it didn't. He also didn't mention to the owner that the previous manager along with himself told me that they would exchange my drone for a new one. The owner had said that the store policy was 30 days and there was nothing he could do, Jockson told me to come back Monday so that I could speak with manny and I asked why would coming Monday do anything if the owner said no. Jockson and another associate who decided to make the conversation hers kept repeating the exact same thing over and over. They also said "if you at least had the box we could send it back to the manufacturer" to which I replied after you exchange it you can keep the box I just needed the remote and the drone. They again repeated come back Monday when manny is here. I also asked about the manufacture warranty to which they replied they didn't know along with no information to get the info to reach out to them. I would at least expect a phone number or email and a response saying hey sorry we can't help you but here's the manufacturer info try reaching out to them but I didn't get any of the just a circle of a conversation. Such a waste of time having two "managers" tell you they can assist only to have the store backtrack and not even honor what I was told and a flat refusal. Gotta love getting the run around. What really bothered me wasn't the toy itself, but the customer service. Being told one thing by multiple managers making this whole situation a waste of time and very frustrating. I hope the store takes this as feedback and works on communication and consistency, because customers shouldn't be misled or left feeling brushed off. Beware of buying from this store based on misleading information regarding issues with your toys or bad and misleading/broken promises. The view is nice and the selection is good aside from the high priced items but the customer service alone is a no for me and it's unfortunate cause we live next door and my 3 1/2 year old loves coming here but we will not be coming back. read more

Very dishonest business. If you are looking for needohs, don't bother. They will lie to your face (and your kids) and tell you they don't have any, only to sell a whole bag of them to someone else a few minutes later right in front of you. This is one of the best toy stores I've been in in a long time. It brings you right back. Lots of nostalgic toys, Lego sets I've never even seen, and everything in between. Unfortunately, my phone was dead, or I would have plenty of pictures to share. The owner, Manny is the sweetest! There are too few genuinely good people left in this world. It was my pleasure to meet him. This is a great place to take kids as a special treat. Its also the perfect place for birthday and holiday shopping, lots of little things to add to gift bags or stockings as well.
