Even though they were very busy, Right Smile was super kind and squeezed me in. They were so comforting and concerned about my well-being on the phone, and that energy continued into the office. They made sure I had plenty of Novocain and that I was in as little pain as possible through the procedure. They also completed the work in record time. When it came time to talk money, the cost was much less than I anticipated to boot. I'm now at home, resting, with my pain totally relieved. The procedure lasted nearly three hours, and I was in severe pain throughout. The dentist later said he had to go deeper than expected. I was also given medication that didn't work because I was told the original prescription couldn't be filled at Walgreens. I returned several times due to ongoing discomfort and later learned a piece of tooth had been left behind. Most recently, I had a cleaning scheduled for 8:30 AM, but they called at 8:16 asking where I was and refused to see me when I explained I was on my way. She also took a look at a molar that seems to have a bone loss issue and could possibly develop an abscess. Dr was able to explain all the alternatives in a manner my 88 year old mother could understand. All the staff did everything they could to keep her calm and relaxed. Having your first molar removed at 88 is pretty traumatic. Dr. Tantuco and staff are pretty darn compassionate. Mom started having an anxiety attack so Dr Tantuco thought it would be best to suspend extraction, send mom home with antibiotics, let her get used to the idea of an extraction and reschedule at a later date. Thanks Dr Kathy and staff for taking such good care of my momma! See you in about six weeks.
