Stopped in for the first time after dropping my car off at Protech down the road. The restraint is tucked in the back behind another business but you can't miss the sign from the street. The first thing I noticed is how friendly the host and my server were. I sat at the counter and ordered my standard breakfast (#5 on the menu) eggs, homefries, toast and choice of meat (bacon, sausage, or linguinca) with a coffee. The coffee came in a full size cup and was topped off when I was running low. I appreciate a big cup and it never getting to empty, so bonus points for that. The food was solid. My eggs were done to my liking, the toast was a perfect shade and I believe they used real butter. The bacon was crisp. My only negative comment were the home fries and it's really not anything big, it's a preference. I am a minimalist when it comes to homefries. Potatoes and onions. That is it. Any other spice is not for me. These potatoes were covered in a strong spice. They were fine if you like that sort of homefries, but they were not my favorite. Next time I'll just order something that doesn't come with homefries. Overall a nice experience.

Cute place. We visited because our favorite place up the street was closed. It's been years since I've visited English Muffin. I was happy to see they are still using their homey feel - real mugs, dish towels, etc. Service was excellent. Flavor of the breakfast wasn't impressive - pretty status quo - didn't leave us with the "can't wait to come back" feel but also didn't leaving thinking we'd never return. Good menu variety, fair pricing.

This place was very busy tonight! They are only open on Friday nights, but open for breakfast and lunch the rest of the week. They have very good food, a rather large bar, and many tables, which were all full this night. My meal came with a choice of soups, or a salad. I had the salad. My meal was a breaded chicken cutlets with gravy, and I chose mashed potatoes (with more gravy) and butternut squash. It was all so delicious. My husband ordered a grilled chicken club sandwich, however, he got the fried breaded cutlet. He could have sent it back, but didn't, primarily because of how busy it got!! He still liked it. The prices are reasonable, specials are plentiful, and the food is good. What else could you ask for!!

Down home service with a family feel and delicious food. Attentive service and a diner vibe. Plenty of parking available. My breakfast dish hit the spot and they also offer lunch items. A great place to eat and catch up with a friend but note 75 minute limit at tables during peak hours!

We loved this homey breakfast and lunch spot! We are always looking for a good spot to stop after church and I want breakfast and hubs wants lunch so this is the best of both worlds. Our server Renee was so helpful and pleasant. This place is always busy so you know it's good - and it was! We will definitely be back.

My first time here. The fastest breakfast place I've ever been too. Literally in less than 10 minutes. The place is clean. The thing I noticed off the bat was, when the waitresses were not busy, they were all cleaning something. Entrance doors, glass , shelves. Everyone one of them. That's a way to run the front of the house. Definitely be back and the prices were the best I seen in a while. That's awesome!

We've been living in the area for 1.5 years and finally got around to trying this place out. We are glad we did! This is a review based on the breakfast - we did not try any lunch type foods. It was about 1/2 full there when we arrived and were seated by a very nice woman. Off the bat a perfect 10 on the queer-o-meter. Love that. Our waitress was prompt with coffee and tea. (And water) the coffee was much better than I was expecting. A sold cup of "diner" coffee. We got everything in the picture and a corn muffin that's not in the pic. The breakfast was a good portion. I got the egg sandwich with ham. And it was a 1/4 of a ham steak on there. OMG love that! The bagel wasn't anything to write home about but it was good. Home fries were good to - I like mine with a little onion and diced peppers but I realize that's not everyone's gig. So that's a toss up. The French toast muffin was grilled with butter and great. It's a great solid breakfast place with wonderful friendly staff. They don't make you feel rushed, even though by the time we left there was a line! Check it out. Cheers!

Such a yummy breakfast spot with the cutest outside seating area for when the weather is nice! I went on a busy weekend but still was able to get seated right away, my blueberry pancakes were soooo amazing, and came out quickly. My server was also the sweetest woman!

One of my NEW favorite local restaurants. From the moment we impulsively stopped and we're greeted by such warm and friendly hostesses to leaving, we were so well taken care of. The wait staff is exemplary with the food arriving piping hot. Do not miss out and conveniently located moments from Route 295, on Plainfield Pike!

Always enjoy their breakfast. Easy get it anytime while they are open. 6 am to 2 pm... I love going early morning.

Best place to enjoy a good meal with the family. The prices are feasible for the amount of food you get. $15 is what I paid for what you see in the picture and $3 is for good-tasting coffee. The service is excellent, they always walk by and check on you if you need something else and clean up things off your table while you are eating. This restaurant is always lively and has great conversational. There's a TV with local New to keep you up to date on things while you're eating.

We came for breakfast as a party of 4. There was a 40 minute wait. The place is clean and our server was good. I had the omlette special, egg whites, tomato, spinach, and feta. I had it with a side of cinnamon apples. It comes with toast and homefries, but they allow substitutions. It was $65 for the 4 of us, which I felt was high for breakfast. The food was good though. I did have a bite if a pancake snd it was very good.

This has recently been our favorite restaurant--but after this event, it's officially the only place we will host gatherings or recommend to others. From the moment we arrived, Mike and Crystal, the owners, exceeded every expectation. Crystal, in particular, made everyone feel completely at home. She was incredibly attentive and somehow in tune with even the smallest details--down to noticing who was eating, who needed something, and who might have been missed. That level of care is rare and meant so much to our entire family. I'll admit, I went into the evening a little nervous because I'm very detail-oriented and like to plan everything myself. But they went so far above and beyond anything I could have anticipated. They made the entire night feel effortless. One of the many thoughtful touches that stood out was that they even put up a special 70th birthday announcement on their TV screens--such a small detail, but it made the night feel even more personal and celebrated. They also went out of their way to accommodate our only vegan guest, preparing a special dish with thoughtful modifications so that they felt just as included as everyone else. It was seamless and incredibly kind. What made the night truly unforgettable, though, was how personal everything felt. They interacted with our kids, held their hands, and treated our family like their own. It didn't feel like we were at a restaurant--it felt like we were being hosted by people who genuinely cared. I cannot thank Mike and Crystal enough for making my mother-in-law's 70th birthday such a memorable, special experience. We are beyond grateful and will be back again and again.

The eggs were cooked just how I wanted them, the bacon was cooked to the perfect crispiness and the most slices I have ever gotten at a breakfast place, the toast was a bit over toasted but Harriet's has been forgiven, and the home fries were delicious because of the flavor but also because of the different textures - soft, crunchy, slightly chewy. The French toast was simple but so good, and the pancakes were fluffy and massive. The inside is nice, and lots of natural light coming in.
