A crisis in our country is the state of the healthcare industry and the toll it takes on providers. Providers can become so overworked or burnt out that they forget to see their patient as a person or have so little time that spending any extra time advocating can seem daunting. Dr. Gburek found me at the lowest point in my life. By simply listening to me, treating me like a human being, and advocating for me; he made all the difference in the world. He carefully made care plans based on my life goals like having children and factors such as my age to refer me to specialists. I had a unique case where I became medically handicapped in terms of medication. Steroids and NSAIDs cause me to develop stomach issues I had never even heard of. Stomach issues that caused me to be unable to eat regularly for nearly an entire year. I was wasting away to nothing while I waited for Cigna or any doctor to help me. I had lost 20 pounds unintentionally in 365 days. He tried to send me to specialists that could find an answer for my symptoms, but to my dismay, those specialists had no answer for me or even any ideas of how to help me. If you've ever been in that position you know how lonely and desolate it can be. It was traumatic To even be brought to that point I spent years of my life arguing with Cigna that my life mattered but, naturally, they only want to hear what the doctor thinks. By giving me a life with manageable pain, I am able to pick back up the pieces of who I used to be and who I want to become while continuing to help others as he helped me. The injections were quick and smooth (not going to say painless because that would be lying) but if you can't have it a little pain, they have the option for a local and aesthetic. If you are dealing with back or hip pain or pain in general your body, I would highly recommend scheduling a visit through your doctor.

I've been going to Airrosti for about 2 months now and have only good things to say…read more I injured my neck several months ago and was referred to Airrosti and didn't really know what it was; I was thinking more traditional PT that I'd been to before for other injuries but its that and much more. I've been treated by Danny for PT and Dr Renfro about 6-7 visits now. They are both friendly, caring, and very knowledgeable about what they do and human anatomy. Every session starts with Dr Renfro going through some questions and basic movements to see how things are progressing before he treats my neck and right shoulder (think deep tissue massage type work). After that, I meet with Danny for 15 minutes to discuss progress on my PT homework and also going through new movements for my next homework assignment. They've both been fantastic and I also like how they email you the list of exercises after every visit so you have it in email (there's also an app too). It makes it easy to open the email, watch the video demonstrations, and even has a checklist to keep you on task. Overall, nothing but good things to say and I'd recommend it.

He gave the bare minimum of attention to my client when she was talking at any point, and interrupted her constantly to cut the conversation shorter. The one and only time he acknowledged ME was before a procedure, where he asked me to tell my client (who was in another room) not to call the office with any concerns for at least 24 hours unless it was an emergency. On our last visit with him, he straight-up told my client (who by this point was in so much pain she could barely leave her apartment and was feeling the emotional distress from that) that she was too emotional for him to deal with. That other people had it way worse than her and THEY didn't cry. Lastly, he told her that even after the two tests she had been through, he would not perform the final procedure on her until she proved to him that she was on an antidepressant (???????????????????) Now the office is giving us the run-around, pushing our next appointment back a week, then another week, then saying we would have to go to a surgical center because they just don't have the tools they need. I've flat-out encouraged my client to quit giving this practice any more of her money; waiting to see a doctor who will treat her with some dignity will be 1000x better than ever seeing this doctor again. I needed something and fast and this place had the soonest appointment. I was assigned Victor G and it was honestly meant to be. He is very strong, intuitive, checks in and talks you through the entire process and what's going to happen. I appreciate that because I don't have to worry something will be sprung on me without warning. The therapy: you just need someone to push really hard where it hurts. That's exactly what I always wanted- someone to press on my spine or hip or whatever until the pain went away. Well, lo and behold, this is EXACTLY what they do. And it works. This is *not* traditional massage so don't go in expecting that. It's very targeted and done fully clothed. Depending on your needs, you could spend 2 hours just on 1 leg. This is the level of therapy they get to. I can't tell you enough how much you need to try this, especially if you're like me and feel like you've exhausted all options and are close to feeling hopeless and giving up. In 1 session pain I had for 6 months was gone. In 2 things were so loose and working the right way that I felt muscles I haven't felt in years. I absolutely see how people have said they've helped them avoid unnecessary surgery. I wish I had found this place 20 years ago but at least I found it now. Just try it.
