I do make sure to communicate and set them up for success about items or communicate if I would like something done differently. This is done through Sandra and then communicated to the person helping. This really takes the awkwardness out of doing it. Things happen that is life but it is about how it is handled and Sandra and her team are like Olympians at that. We started out with an every other week cleaning. Really liked them team and moved into a 3x a week customized housekeeping service. There is a service called a la maid which is wonderful if you need more than just a basic house cleaning but less than hiring someone full time (which then you have to deal with a lot more effort to find and handle domestic staffing salary etc.) Having them come in half a day 3x a week is AMAZING! I have actual time to get done all of these projects that I have not been able to for years. Turns out I wasn't lazy or uncapable we just needed more help. With Adis and Alison helping, I can actually be properly rested, care for our family, tackle project and I have way more time too for my consulting business which is awesome. What really sets this company apart from others we have tried is that the housekeepers really care about doing a thorough job. They also are all just incredibly lovely humans. It can be weird to have someone in your house with their energy etc. but I genuinely have felt at ease with the 3 women who have helped us regularly. For the a la maid service I have created a day, visit and random one off items I need help with and share with Sandra. It has been going really well. They have helped from organizing linens in our guest closet to doing a deep clean of just one room, loading and unloading dishwasher, open and breaking down boxes, folding clothing, helping with laundry, taking everything out of a closet and cleaning them placing back in. Removing items from kitchen drawers, vacuum and wipe down the drawers then reorganize. We have had items for donation drives etc. in the house and just ask them to clean around and they do which is lovely. They just are so very sweet and kind hearted. They will roll up blankets, arrange toys and organize our dog's beds. When one of our pups had to be laid to rest recently they have been so kind and understanding about me wanting to leave her items in place. I genuinely get excited to see how they will organize, fold or do. Throughout the week I discover new ways they folded the top tissue, organized blankets, arrangement of plushies and blankets on the pup's beds. It is such a delight and joy that is brought to my week! These little details is what sets them far above and apart in my opinion. There is just a feeling and kind compassion that Sandra, Adis and Alison bring to their work and our home. I find it to sometimes be super awkward to have someone in our home and working around but that is not a feeling I have ever had with any of our regular cleaners or Sandra. Which to me says a lot about who they are and the team they have built. There was one person who was just not a fit and I politely communicated that with Sandra. That can be so awkward to do but Sandra was great it was just a really chill process for something that is a bit awkward to say. A person who was helping us left too and Sandra totally hit the nail on the head with placing the 2 ladies who help us now 3 days a week. I could not recommend them highly enough and would hire them in a heartbeat for any family that lived in the area. They bring compassion and kindness to their work.

I booked Trendy Maids for a move-in deep clean service for my home in the beginning of February…read more The booking process was easy enough through the Trendy Maids website. The maids were scheduled to come to my home at 7:30am and they showed up on time. Since this was a move-in cleaning, I wasn't actually present in the home when they arrived. I had a painter in the home when they arrived who had already been in my home for the past 10 days whom I trusted to let the maids in. The week prior to booking, I had new carpeting installed on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the home (including the stairs to both the 2nd and 3rd floors) which cost me over $10,000. When I arrived at the home at 7:40, I immediately noticed orange staining on my carpet stairs. I asked the painter what may have caused it, and he shrugged his shoulders. I went upstairs to introduce myself to the maids who had begun the cleaning service in the third floor bathroom. I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary right away as I was speaking directly with one of the two maids to show her what I was hoping they could focus on with the cleaning service. After my introduction, I went back down to the first staircase and again noticed orange staining on my brand new carpet. It dawned on me that if it hadn't come from my painter, it could have only come from one other place - the maids. I went back up to the third floor and noticed that one of the maids had tracked a reddish-orange mud in on her shoes which was now all over my bathroom floor. This meant that she walked all the up my first set of carpeted stairs, through a long carpeted hallway, up a second set of carpeted stairs, and through a carpeted room to get to the bathroom she was currently cleaning. Despite basically using my entire home as her welcome mat, her shoes STILL had left multiple orange tracks all over my bathroom floor. I encourage you to note the pictures I've attached which show this bathroom floor staining. I was furious. I just had new carpet installed and she tracked orange staining mud through my entire home. I asked the two maids to leave as if they couldn't be trusted to respect my home, I didn't want them there. She said "It's ok, I clean" in broken English and began following me around the home. I asked her again to leave and she just followed me around. It became obvious that she didn't understand English, so I pointed to the door and asked her to leave. She went upstairs (which I assumed was to grab her supplies) and instead returned with the other maid so that they could both proceed to follow me around. I finally called the Trendy Maids office and asked them to get their maids out of my home. I explained what had happened, and the office receptionist simply said "I'll try" (to my request to get them out of my home). I waited ten minutes (with the two maids following me around the whole time) and called the front office back. I advised that if they weren't out in the next ten minutes, I'd call the cops to have them removed. The receptionist then conveniently called the head maid and got them out. I asked the receptionist to have a manager call me back because one wasn't available when I called. She said she'd have him call me as soon as he was available. Keep in mind this was around 8am. I heard nothing from them, so at 10am I called again and was told the manager wasn't available. The receptionist said she'd have him call me. I tried calling twice more around 1pm and 4pm and nobody answered. To date (more than a week and a half after this awful experience), a manager has not called me back. Since I couldn't speak with anyone to request a refund of the prepaid cleaning service that I didn't obviously use, I ended up having to request a chargeback through my credit card to get the funds back. Luckily they sided with me in my case and immediately credited the funds. I still plan on filing a small claims court case against Trendy Maids for the carpet cleaning that I plan on having done once I'm moved in and settled in. For now, I've personally spot treated the areas where the mud was most visible in an effort to ward off permanent staining. Obviously I don't recommend this company. I recommend quite the opposite - stay as far away from them as you can. Between the $10,000 carpet staining, broken English, weird shadowing of me, no manager contact, and ultimate charge-back, Trendy Maids was simply terrible.

I arrived to find cobwebs still on the walls behind the washer & dryer area, double sided tape still on the floor in the laundry room. Baseboards dirty, blinds dirty & to my displeasure, the fan in the master bedroom now has a broken pull & the broken part lying on the windowsill. When I called Mary, the owner she denied everything & wouldn't let me even speak while she stated over & over they did what they were contracted to do. I even sent her pics from the house after their 4-hr cleaning. She said she was at my home personally. How "as a business owner" can you justify this??? Honestly, Ray Charles could have done a better job. I would highly recommend looking for another service. This company is a disgrace. They make sure they charge "up front" before any work is done, now I know why. I only wish I could post before & after pics. I tried to speak to Mary about rectifying this & was met with an absolute "No", you got what you paid for. Lesson learned. Absolutely do NOT recommend them.

They showed up on time that day, and we got a call 2 hours later they were done. We thought "that was quick". Upon arrival. The ENTIRE downstairs of my house was not cleaned. The upstairs was cleaned beautiful. Kitchen wasn't done, downstairs bathroom wasn't done, and I should mention the extra we paid for appliances wasn't touched. So we call and get told they can come back to clean it, great let's try again. We can't unpack our stuff in the new house we bought because we are waiting on it to be cleaned. We get told noon Monday, 1pm rolls around and no show. Finally at 1:30 I call, and get told they're on their way. It's now 2:30 and no show, now I work night shift so that's like asking someone to be awake at midnight then not show up. 3pm comes and they finally show up and tell me "sorry they got lost"- I life in a neighborhood and it's 2022 with a GPS, as well as a place they've already been to! But now I have to leave at 5pm for work and don't want my house unattended due to the history of this business. I call the owner who is "out of town" and speak to his assistance and was treated with attitude and doesn't understand why showing up 3 hours late is a big deal if it's a "makeup service" as she calls it. DO NOT USE Merry Maids. They did my apartment last Friday. The person stole from me. My whole shelf…read moreof towels, all my cologne sets, washcloths, laundry supplies, laundry basket, clothes. I had tall laundry basket with dirty clothes. They were thrown all over laundry room floor. Used the basket to put all the stolen stuff in. They also took whole box of medical supplies. My makeup and some clothes. All my towels were brand new and never used. My shelf has never been empty. I would say at least 25 towels and 2 5 pack of washcloths. Every cologne set was never opened. I am disabled and have foot injury and use walker. I sat outside to keep out of way. I believe the stuff was outside front door. 3 min breezeway to parking lot. Probably left basket etc n waited til I came inside. I saw cleaner n assistant both come inside from patio. The cleaner Laura was very rude and unfriendly.i even gave tip. Law will be called and charges will be made to both Laura and Merry Maids. This makes me sick and bad enough I have limited mobility. Made it easy for them. I hope Laura is enjoying my stuff.
