LIVING SITUATION: I live in an apartment with no pets or children so the reason I originally sought out a cleaning service was to have someone come in to clean the bathrooms. After doing extensive research--I'm talking like I called pretty much every cleaning service in Charlotte you could find on yelp--I landed on Enjoy Maids and I'm glad I did. COST: For $59.50, I have the same "maid" come once every two weeks for 2 hours. I work from home so it's easy for me to work in the office while she cleans. Augriem is our "maid" who is super friendly and fast - which really helps me justify why I spent ~$120 a month. Before she arrives, I write out the areas I would like her to clean as well as an "if you have extra time" list and she typically gets through both! Plus, she tolerates me with my micromanaging lists. Typical tasks include deep cleaning of 2 full baths, mopping, vacuuming, dusting of a 1200+ sq ft apartment. HOURLY: Through my research of all cleaning services in Charlotte, not many offer this flexibility to do hourly, most were asking for $100+ for the entire apartment, and I just don't need all of that! By having Augriem here biweekly, we can "rotate" the areas that she cleans. For example, one week on top of the typical bathroom/vacuuming she does, I had her clean and sweep up our patio and another week I had her clean the windows. Stuff that you and I will avoid until we "have time" which let's be honest -- we never will! :) CUSTOMER SERVICE: What I also really like about Enjoy Maids is that they have an online chat service so it's really easy for me just to go to www.enjoymaids.com and IM with one of their staff members to either reschedule, or track down my "maid's" ETA. This is really handy because while they try to stay close to your appointment time, they do have a 4-hour window and sometimes will come 30 minutes-2 hours later than your scheduled appointment time, so it's easy to check in on their status for the day with their IM service. Using EnjoyMaids has allowed me to get my weekends back, enjoying my time off to spend with family and friends -- not stuck all day in the house cleaning! Highly recommend to anyone who values their free time and enjoys a clean apartment.

I am disabled and have foot injury and use walker. I sat outside to keep out of way. I believe the stuff was outside front door. 3 min breezeway to parking lot. I am so very grateful for the friend that suggested this company. We have tried a few companies and…read morepeople for extended time from a few visits to a year and just hadn't found the right fit until The Organic Maids. I do make sure to communicate and set them up for success about items or communicate if I would like something done differently. This is done through Sandra and then communicated to the person helping. This really takes the awkwardness out of doing it. Things happen that is life but it is about how it is handled and Sandra and her team are like Olympians at that. We started out with an every other week cleaning. Really liked them team and moved into a 3x a week customized housekeeping service. There is a service called a la maid which is wonderful if you need more than just a basic house cleaning but less than hiring someone full time (which then you have to deal with a lot more effort to find and handle domestic staffing salary etc.) Having them come in half a day 3x a week is AMAZING! I have actual time to get done all of these projects that I have not been able to for years. Turns out I wasn't lazy or uncapable we just needed more help. With Adis and Alison helping, I can actually be properly rested, care for our family, tackle project and I have way more time too for my consulting business which is awesome. What really sets this company apart from others we have tried is that the housekeepers really care about doing a thorough job. They also are all just incredibly lovely humans. It can be weird to have someone in your house with their energy etc. but I genuinely have felt at ease with the 3 women who have helped us regularly. For the a la maid service I have created a day, visit and random one off items I need help with and share with Sandra. It has been going really well. They have helped from organizing linens in our guest closet to doing a deep clean of just one room, loading and unloading dishwasher, open and breaking down boxes, folding clothing, helping with laundry, taking everything out of a closet and cleaning them placing back in. Removing items from kitchen drawers, vacuum and wipe down the drawers then reorganize. We have had items for donation drives etc. in the house and just ask them to clean around and they do which is lovely. They just are so very sweet and kind hearted. They will roll up blankets, arrange toys and organize our dog's beds. When one of our pups had to be laid to rest recently they have been so kind and understanding about me wanting to leave her items in place. I genuinely get excited to see how they will organize, fold or do. Throughout the week I discover new ways they folded the top tissue, organized blankets, arrangement of plushies and blankets on the pup's beds. It is such a delight and joy that is brought to my week! These little details is what sets them far above and apart in my opinion. There is just a feeling and kind compassion that Sandra, Adis and Alison bring to their work and our home. I find it to sometimes be super awkward to have someone in our home and working around but that is not a feeling I have ever had with any of our regular cleaners or Sandra. Which to me says a lot about who they are and the team they have built. There was one person who was just not a fit and I politely communicated that with Sandra. That can be so awkward to do but Sandra was great it was just a really chill process for something that is a bit awkward to say. A person who was helping us left too and Sandra totally hit the nail on the head with placing the 2 ladies who help us now 3 days a week. I could not recommend them highly enough and would hire them in a heartbeat for any family that lived in the area. They bring compassion and kindness to their work.

When I called Mary, the owner she denied everything & wouldn't let me even speak while she stated over & over they did what they were contracted to do. I even sent her pics from the house after their 4-hr cleaning. She said she was at my home personally. How "as a business owner" can you justify this??? Booked it 1+ month in advance, sent pictures, and even told them on multiple occasions "we don't care how long it takes or how much it costs, please deep clean it". They showed up on time that day, and we got a call 2 hours later they were done. We thought "that was quick". Upon arrival. The ENTIRE downstairs of my house was not cleaned. The upstairs was cleaned beautiful. Kitchen wasn't done, downstairs bathroom wasn't done, and I should mention the extra we paid for appliances wasn't touched. So we call and get told they can come back to clean it, great let's try again. We can't unpack our stuff in the new house we bought because we are waiting on it to be cleaned. We get told noon Monday, 1pm rolls around and no show. Finally at 1:30 I call, and get told they're on their way. It's now 2:30 and no show, now I work night shift so that's like asking someone to be awake at midnight then not show up. 3pm comes and they finally show up and tell me "sorry they got lost"- I life in a neighborhood and it's 2022 with a GPS, as well as a place they've already been to! But now I have to leave at 5pm for work and don't want my house unattended due to the history of this business. I call the owner who is "out of town" and speak to his assistance and was treated with attitude and doesn't understand why showing up 3 hours late is a big deal if it's a "makeup service" as she calls it. Stay away from this business!!!! The worst experience while trying to move into a house!
