Enjoy the Mountain ATV Riding Vasquez Truck Trail, Santa Clarita, CA 91390 Okay, let's get started! My ATV Experience: none. (I'm an adrenaline junkie; I've gone skydiving, love rollercoasters, kayaking, parasailing, scuba diving etc.) Other members in party's ATV experience: 2 members have gone on a 2 hour ATV ride in Mexico, 1 member in my party had no ATV experience but has rode motorcycles in the past. Occasion for trip/Cost: I bought 4 ATV rider tickets for a 1 hour session for my boyfriend's birthday. Total cost came out to: $476.00. Location: The mountain area in Santa Clarita. The directions are VERY clear in their email that they send. If you click on the link DIRECTLY SENT TO YOU in your email, you'll get there no problem if you use the Google Maps app. They have the link. They have a YouTube video showing you how to get there too. I didn't lose cell reception not once getting there. I took a CAMRY HYBRID to get there and there is a dirt road for quite some time before you get to the location where you park. Date went: 10/11/25 at 9:00am. Weather was PERFECT. It was 74F degrees. It was sunny, but cool. Did not need a jacket. Just wore a dark t shirt, jeans, and sneakers. Heads up: You won't have opportunities to take picture or videos of your own during the ride. The guide will take photos for you and send them to you via email during the ride. You will be asked if you want to buy insurance prior to the ride in case any damages happen. You have the option to decline. Make sure you sign the waivers prior to check in. *****You will have to bring IDs of the members going and the card used for payment for check in. Actual ride: I was instructed to ride right behind the instructor given that I had no prior ATV experience. Our guide, Jackson, was very friendly and considerate throughout the whole experience and informed the rest of the party that the speed of the ride would go based off me since I'm the beginner. Jackson consistently looked back at our party to make sure none of us were falling behind, had to stop once to fix another member from getting stuck at a turn, and we were going about 15mph the whole ride. It felt so nice outside! Considering that this was my first time riding, I don't feel like it was too hard to pick up and learn how to operate the ATV. I would NOT recommend this during the summertime. I think this experience would not be enjoyable in the slightest if it was hot given that you're already wearing a helmet and there's heat that comes from the ATV that you can feel near your calves. Your thumb will hurt a bit as you have to press it in consistently to make the ATV go. You can ask for a break if needed if your thumb gets tired. ***Important to note ***I did this ATV trip on the first day of my period and it was still enjoyable! Usually the first day of my period my body feels dreadful (headaches, nauseous, and backaches). I didn't have anything to eat prior to our ride and I felt nauseous right after I got off the ATV ride, but that's not the ATVs fault. Just recommend having a little bit of food at the very least before you go. Overall, I would rate it 4/5 stars. I feel like I was so focused on riding the ATV, following the guide, and making sure I was going at an enjoyable speed for the rest of my party that I didn't really get to take in the view and "enjoy the mountain" so to speak. We started off on smoother paths and then our guide took us on more challenging paths with turns and dirt bumpy roads. I think this is a great experience/activity to do when the weather is cool.

DON'T LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! I almost didn't book with this company because I was worried about the #1 complaint: finding the location. We decided to book with the Los Angeles Rowher Flats location and I downloaded the map and watched the YouTube video that the company provided. It all seemed easy enough. NOT ONCE, NOT ONCE did I lose cell reception with google maps and we were an hour early to the starting location. The check in process was easy and we filled out our waivers at home the night before. Lady staff members were sweet and welcoming. They attempted to have us add on liability insurance but we simply opted out. I didn't feel pressured. Our guide, Sarah or Sara, was so nice and I liked her from the start. It was only me and my husband and she told us she would watch our pace to see our level of difficulty while riding. I signed up for the middle level even though it was our first time because me and my husband are thrill seekers and we catch on quickly. Boy, I never once felt like it was easy. She had us doing easy tricks and going fast over dips and hills and it was overall a great ride. Sarah was great and took amazing pictures. At the end, the girls by trailer explained how to take off our gear and you can clearly see they sanitize the equipment and have a cleaning process. I didn't wear a face mask because I'm vaccinated and we were distanced from people. Also, they give you a protective head sleeve for the helmet so I felt it was clean. I don't understand what all the negative reviews are about! I felt the company went out of their way to provide a safe experience and Sarah was able to see we could handle a faster ride so she gauged the course by that. They also posted our ride photos in short amount of time. I was shocked at the amount Sarah took. The trip was to celebrate my husbands birthday and he loved it too! He kept saying how fun it was. We thought an hour seemed short, but honestly it was perfect amount of ride time. I didn't feel shorted at all. My thumbs were aching at the end. Please book with them- you won't regret your experience!

We had the most amazing tour with Emil! He went out of his way to make sure we felt safe, had lots of photos, and above all had fun. The trail was perfect for a beginner learning how to operate an AV and Emil made sure we followed his clear instructions to ensure everything went smooth. Highly recommend Enjoy The Mountain for this fun activity and will be going back as soon as possible :) Parker + Chelsea

Our group were al pretty much newbies to ATVs but we all had an amazing time. The one of us that had ridden and the most adventurous of the bunch got all the adventure and adrenaline rush we were seeking. The drive up is great and the views are awesome.

Found enjoy the mountain on yelp and booked a 1 hr ride for my boyfriend and I for our 10 year anniversary. The whole process was super easy. From booking to getting there to checking in and riding. Silvia was our guide and she was amazing! She also got some great pictures of us. I read some reviews about people saying it's difficult to find however if you follow the link and use google maps you won't have a hard time finding it. Thank you Silvia and the whole Enjoy the mountain team for making our day special and fun!

    In the zone.

First, if there could be six stars, we would rate them with six. It was our first time riding ATV's. Our guide Sylvia was amazing and made it so we'd want to do it again. She kept checking to make sure we were good as it took a sec for me to get acclimated. The hour was a perfect amount of time to really get used to and enjoy the experience. It was really beautiful and we're and we are truly grateful.

Decided to take my boyfriend ATV riding for his birthday, along with some friends. The plan seemed great but I failed to take into account we were all beginners except my boyfriend the birthday boy! Everyone had fun, the birthday guy not so much because we took an easy route soooo if you are planning on going I highly suggest you go with people in your same level of expertise to ensure you have a great time. Reservation process was smooth, I contacted them via email and they provided a code for my group and I to use to ensure we all ended up in the same group. They also send you directions of how to get there, BUT PLEASE MAKE SURE TO WATCH THE YOUTUBE VIDOE, I didn't watch the video missed the right turn off the freeway which caused us to be late. So watch the video please! Once we arrived everything was pretty quick, we got our equipment, they talked us through the basics, and off we went. I would love to experience this up in Mammoth or another of their amazing locations we did our tour out here in LA by Gorman which is nice but not as nice as it could be with some snow or ocean views!

Great experience especially for big groups and first time visitors to LA. We booked a few weeks in advance, as the slots fill up quickly. Their customer service was really responsive in helping with questions before booking. The experience itself was great and truly private! Jorge was an awesome guide and lead us through the Hungry Valley mountains for a good hour. The only thing I would say is make sure you arrive 20 minutes early (set up takes a while) and fill out all the paperwork beforehand to make the most of the tour!

My husband and I went for the 1st time today and had a blast. Eric was our guide and was great. We'll definitely be back and have already recommended to our friends.

BIG thank you to the ETM team! Our guide Natalia was awesome! She was fun, friendly, professional and above all safe. She made sure we were comfortable and having a good time- I was a little nervous :) We were in very good hands! The entire process from booking to arriving to riding to finishing up was smooth, efficient and very well organized. We had an absolute blast and will definitely return to ride again! Also the helmets, gloves, goggles were sanitized and Covid friendly! We were very happy to see that.

We did the ATV medium level! Emil was our tour guide! It was so much fun worth every penny! It's exciting and such a rush! Emil was very nice and fun and took lots of pictures for our memories! He was patient and guided us to have a safe and fun ride! Not only that but also Luke the Manger reached out to Thank us and that was very Wow customer service over all! Above and beyond for customers! Will definitely return and recommend!!

I personally go for a hike every Sunday because it helps me decompress, reflect on the week that I've had, and mentally prepare myself for the week coming up/visualize future plans. Right off the bat, I'd strongly recommend planning in advance for the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook since the parking closer to the base of the trail is street parking and first come first serve. While the street parking is mostly free (there are some meters), I can't really recommend a "best" time to get there as I've gone at multiple times of the morning, afternoon, and evening, and it's generally tough to get a spot that isn't a bit of a walk away. Additionally, there is metered parking at the top of the trail, but the caveat is that you won't be able to advance the steps on your first trek if you start from the top. The steps are arguably the most attractive part of the trail since it offers a unique fitness challenge that manages to feel familiar for stairmaster users while also feeling different because of the outdoor ambiance. It also feels like something out of a training scene from a Shaw Brothers film for my fellow movie nerds. If your'e reasonably in shape, the steps likely won't be too big of an issue, but if you're fairly new to fitness/hiking, you will likely have to take breaks as you advance up the steps. That said, most people here are very supportive of one another, so if you are struggling to make it up, someone will no doubt cheer you on. Once you advance to the top of the steps, you'll have an opportunity to catch your breath, take in the beautiful skyline view of LA, and take a selfie. This is also a great opportunity to chat with fellow hikers and possibly make a new friend or two along the way. I'd suggest advancing past this rest spot and make your way to the back of the trail as it provides you with two cool options. Option 1: You can make a right while at the parking lot and do laps going up and down the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook without worrying about the steps. It is significantly less grueling than the steps, offers some additional great views of LA, and even has a few benches where one can chill and eat a snack. Option 2 (Strongly Recommend): You can make a left, walk through the parking lot, and explore a nice casual hike from the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook to the nearby Kenneth Hahn Park. I do this every time I visit the trail because it feels like a more rewarding hike that also offers some really nice views of the local area. Furthermore, this path is another way to get to Kenneth Hahn without worrying about the $10.00 entry fee should you try to enter the park that way. I've been hiking since 2020, and I can confidently say that this is one of my favorite trails. I've hiked here countless times alone, and I've also gone with less experienced friends who've also had a blast. The Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook is moderately challenging, offers some great views, is peaceful, and the food trucks at the base of the steps have a wealth of smoothies, refreshers, etc. to choose from for your pre or post hike pleasure.

I brought some hiking poles which helped with balance and probing for loose rocks and logs. If you want to get parking in the lower lot, it's best to come before 8AM. We found parking in the second lot. An Adventure Pass or Day Pass is required. Parking is enforced. A car received a ticket for being in a No Parking zone. The start of the trail is nicely shaded. The second half is a hilly, narrow, sun exposed path which routes back into the canyon toward the Lower Switzer Falls. I'm glad they had fencing on some narrow and steep parts of the trail. We encountered an active rattlesnake which headed down the mountain, so be on the lookout. Overall, the hike takes about 3 hours for 5.5 miles. The additional hike back up to the parking lot was about 1/4 of a mile. Note: if you need to use the restroom, it's best to bring your own toilet paper and to go before you start your hike. I decided to give the Secret Stairs a visit after a tip from Yelp! There is just something charming…read moreabout a neighborhood network of stairs. The stairs serves well as an easy hike or an exercise spot for those who love stair climbing. One thing I did not expect is that the stairs go up and down. Rather than take you higher and higher, some of the stairs just takes you across hills which for me is disappointing. Also, I did not find the houses along the trail particularly scenic. They are probably nice for Pasadena but definitely a far cry from what you see in nearby Arcadia, San Marino, La Canada, etc. Overall, I consider the Secret Stairs a local attraction. It's a worth a visit if you live less than 20 minutes away and its a fun neighborhood novelty but it's definitely not worth your time if you don't live in the area. Parking: I parked on the street on Elmwood which is the beginning of the trail, but I don't highly recommend it. It's not a particularly well maintained street and it is super narrow and steep without proper curbs/sidewalks. There is also a sign that says 'Tow Away on Red Flag Days'. Refer to the affixes picture. If I returned, I would either park on the street prior to Elmwood or just skip to a different segment.
