We were a bit hesitant to move forward with this tour since there's a lot of mixed reviews about it, but we were so glad that we did it!! The instructions to get there can look a bit complicated bc there's just so much info? but literally you can just find the meetup spot on Google Maps now if you look up 'Rowher Flat OHV'. Maybe bc it wasn't on there before, but the page gives you very detailed instructions, even a video to guide you how to get there. Past Santa Clarita and into the mountains! You'll eventually go off roading and fair warning, it is quite bumpy. Low profile vehicles aren't recommended, and you'll see why lol. I also brought my tesla model 3 here while everyone else I passed by was in a bigger SUV vehicle car. I wanted to be careful and drive slower on the road haha and luckily the road was not busy at all! After making it up to the meetup spot, it's definitely a very quiet and peaceful area. It's nice to experience away from the busy city life. We were on time to our tour, but we wanted to make it out earlier since there was some time needed for prep. Our tour guide, Sagi (?), was super chill and a cool guy! I had no ATV experience whatsoever but I am so thankful for having him to guide us haha. During the ATV ride, we did request a "beginner/easy" path, but the route he took us was actually pretty challenging lol but very fun! It was basically like an obstacle course, but good mix of flat, bumps, inclines/declines, roundabouts, and I feel like we got to experience it all within an hour! Weather was also perfect during the time we went as well, just wore long sleeves and a vest. An hour was more than enough for this experience. (I'm an adrenaline junkie; I've gone skydiving, love rollercoasters, kayaking, parasailing, scuba diving etc.) Other members in party's ATV experience: 2 members have gone on a 2 hour ATV ride in Mexico, 1 member in my party had no ATV experience but has rode motorcycles in the past. Occasion for trip/Cost: I bought 4 ATV rider tickets for a 1 hour session for my boyfriend's birthday. Total cost came out to: $476.00. Location: The mountain area in Santa Clarita. The directions are VERY clear in their email that they send. If you click on the link DIRECTLY SENT TO YOU in your email, you'll get there no problem if you use the Google Maps app. They have the link. They have a YouTube video showing you how to get there too. I didn't lose cell reception not once getting there. I took a CAMRY HYBRID to get there and there is a dirt road for quite some time before you get to the location where you park. Date went: 10/11/25 at 9:00am. Weather was PERFECT. It was 74F degrees. It was sunny, but cool. Did not need a jacket. Just wore a dark t shirt, jeans, and sneakers. Heads up: You won't have opportunities to take picture or videos of your own during the ride. The guide will take photos for you and send them to you via email during the ride. You will be asked if you want to buy insurance prior to the ride in case any damages happen. You have the option to decline. Make sure you sign the waivers prior to check in. *****You will have to bring IDs of the members going and the card used for payment for check in. Actual ride: I was instructed to ride right behind the instructor given that I had no prior ATV experience. Our guide, Jackson, was very friendly and considerate throughout the whole experience and informed the rest of the party that the speed of the ride would go based off me since I'm the beginner. Jackson consistently looked back at our party to make sure none of us were falling behind, had to stop once to fix another member from getting stuck at a turn, and we were going about 15mph the whole ride. It felt so nice outside! Considering that this was my first time riding, I don't feel like it was too hard to pick up and learn how to operate the ATV. I would NOT recommend this during the summertime. I think this experience would not be enjoyable in the slightest if it was hot given that you're already wearing a helmet and there's heat that comes from the ATV that you can feel near your calves. Your thumb will hurt a bit as you have to press it in consistently to make the ATV go. You can ask for a break if needed if your thumb gets tired. ***Important to note ***I did this ATV trip on the first day of my period and it was still enjoyable! Usually the first day of my period my body feels dreadful (headaches, nauseous, and backaches). I didn't have anything to eat prior to our ride and I felt nauseous right after I got off the ATV ride, but that's not the ATVs fault. Just recommend having a little bit of food at the very least before you go. Overall, I would rate it 4/5 stars. I feel like I was so focused on riding the ATV, following the guide, and making sure I was going at an enjoyable speed for the rest of my party that I didn't really get to take in the view and "enjoy the mountain" so to speak. We started off on smoother paths and then our guide took us on more challenging paths with turns and dirt bumpy roads. DON'T LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! I almost didn't book with this company because I was worried about the #1 complaint: finding the location. We decided to book with the Los Angeles Rowher Flats location and I downloaded the map and watched the YouTube video that the company provided. It all seemed easy enough. NOT ONCE, NOT ONCE did I lose cell reception with google maps and we were an hour early to the starting location. The check in process was easy and we filled out our waivers at home the night before. Lady staff members were sweet and welcoming. They attempted to have us add on liability insurance but we simply opted out. I didn't feel pressured. Our guide, Sarah or Sara, was so nice and I liked her from the start. It was only me and my husband and she told us she would watch our pace to see our level of difficulty while riding. I signed up for the middle level even though it was our first time because me and my husband are thrill seekers and we catch on quickly. Boy, I never once felt like it was easy. She had us doing easy tricks and going fast over dips and hills and it was overall a great ride. Sarah was great and took amazing pictures. At the end, the girls by trailer explained how to take off our gear and you can clearly see they sanitize the equipment and have a cleaning process. I didn't wear a face mask because I'm vaccinated and we were distanced from people. Also, they give you a protective head sleeve for the helmet so I felt it was clean. I don't understand what all the negative reviews are about! I felt the company went out of their way to provide a safe experience and Sarah was able to see we could handle a faster ride so she gauged the course by that. They also posted our ride photos in short amount of time. I was shocked at the amount Sarah took. The trip was to celebrate my husbands birthday and he loved it too! He kept saying how fun it was. We thought an hour seemed short, but honestly it was perfect amount of ride time. I didn't feel shorted at all. My thumbs were aching at the end. If you're looking to have a fun time, go somewhere else. They only allow you to drive about 5 miles an hour, no need to get the added insurance (it's a rip off) because you won't be going a register speed anyway. They don't allow you to use your own phone to take video or pictures while on the trails or off the trails. The pictures that they take for you are very subpar and blurry. They do give you protective gear, and that helps because a lot of dust flies everywhere. There is also no phone number to ask questions, which can be really frustrating when you need to ask questions for clarification. They do the absolute bare minimum as it pertains to costumer service. Also, arrive before time because you don't get your time back, but they state this very clearly. Driving out that far to not be able to cruise on the ATV at a reasonable speed made this experience a waste of time and money. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

My experience here was horrible and unsafe. It was my partner and I first time riding ATV. Our instructor was rude and aggressive. Whenever we asked questions we were responded with condescending attitude. While riding I accidentally fell off my ATV as well. It was my first time and I was terrified! Instead of helping me up, our instructor yelled at me. Telling me it was my fault and that he doesn't understand how I could of done this. No help getting up or any concern for my safety. I was so overwhelmed, he then took over my ATV. He also cut our time short because he felt I was not ready to continue. So we paid for only 30 minutes of riding. Most of our time was Emil (atv instructor) was scolding me for falling and my partner had to ask him to apologize to me due to how rude and aggressive he was. read more

We asked several times to take more difficult roads, because we read on the website that they provide customized experience, but no one listened to us and only threatened to end our ride earlier, if we use our phones or don't follow the exact path of our guide. We selected "medium difficulty", but only got to ride 5-10mph on a plain road in a line following the guide for 40 minutes instead of an hour. Although if you have 0 experience and would like them to take amateur pictures of you, cause again you can't pull out your own phone, the place is just for you. read more

Reservation process was smooth, I contacted them via email and they provided a code for my group and I to use to ensure we all ended up in the same group. They also send you directions of how to get there, BUT PLEASE MAKE SURE TO WATCH THE YOUTUBE VIDOE, I didn't watch the video missed the right turn off the freeway which caused us to be late. So watch the video please! Once we arrived everything was pretty quick, we got our equipment, they talked us through the basics, and off we went. I would love to experience this up in Mammoth or another of their amazing locations we did our tour out here in LA by Gorman which is nice but not as nice as it could be with some snow or ocean views! read more

Jorge did not like us and made it very clear. I took my son here for his 17th birthday. He had a rough year and I really wanted to do something special for him. I was scared because I'm not outdoorsy and my googles were fogging up while we were receiving instructions. I was struggling with them and this irritated Jorge who was trying to give us instructions. During our tour my hands really hurt because they were cold and I briefly took off my gloves to try to warm them with my mouth, and Jorge came back really upset because I took them off. He kept saying we needed to communicate with him if we had questions or needed anything but he was completely unapproachable and seemed irritated with us so we didn't feel comfortable saying anything to him. I felt so sad I wanted to cry. If you have tough skin, this place is for you. This was my son's first time doing anything this cool so of course my 17 year old was pushing the limits with his ATV and this further irritated Jorge. Ultimately, my little guy had fun, and it melted my heart to watch him be joyful, but it was so disheartening and disappointing to be treated as if we were receiving free services or charity. I felt like I was in middle school in trouble for misbehaving. On our way back I fell off of my ATV. It was my fault because I was not familiar as to how to turn correctly in a sharp corner without tipping over. I had a camera mounted to my neck and you can see Jorge coming over to me and scolding me for not communicating with him! Like dude, my entire left side feels numb and I am hurt, why are you scolding me!? I emailed to try to give feedback and asked where I could get the pictures they provide. The response was, "as previously stated by your guide, the pictures will be emailed tonight" and there was some mention about how we didn't behave correctly... Wow! I was shocked they were still being rude over email. I responded that I didn't hear him clearly because of my helmet and was too afraid to ask him to repeat himself. Where to begin... let me start off by addressing some of the less than 5 star ratings I reviewed prior to writing my own. For starters, I was very impressed with the communication and scheduling process from beginning to end. Once we booked, we received multiple emails and text messages confirming and reminding us of our visit several times. We were also able to complete the waiver forms online in advance, so when we got there, we literally just showed them our IDs and got ready to ride. Every email and text sent reiterated the exact location with a specific link that Google maps will take you directly to, so if you still got lost, there's another issue there. The last 1/3 mile to the staging area is off-road, but we just took it slow and it was fine. Immediately upon reaching the staging area, we were greeted by very friendly hosts. They showed us where to park and gave us time to use the restrooms. Once we were ready, it literally took less than 5 minutes to get outfitted and on the road. The ATV was clearly cleaned before we used it and they even provided disposable head-covers so you don't get the sweat of the person who wore the helmet before you nor the dust from the trail ahead. Let me pause here and share that I went alone with my 15 year old non verbal autistic son. From beginning of the experience to the end, both Silvia and Jorge, were incredibly patient and compassionate. They went above and beyond to make sure my son was at ease and doing well. I also appreciate the fact that it was good clean, family oriented fun. There was no profanity at all (which is so rare nowadays). Jorge ended up being our tour guide (all tours get their own private guides). He allowed us to stop whenever we wanted to and took the time to share detailed information of the area. He really knew his stuff! I could also tell that he took about the first 5 minutes of our 2 hour ride to gauge our comfort level. Based on that he adjusted our speed and the trails we went on. We went at a very good pace through some challenging areas, but never to the point we didn't feel safe. In the tougher areas, Jorge slowed town and was sure to show us where the safest path was. Lastly, I appreciate the fact that we could focus on having fund, since Jorge was taking pictures all along the way. What's REALLY great is that they didn't try and sell you the pictures in the end. We did a similar excursion in Baja and they charged us $75 for the pictures. With this outfit, they simply emailed us a link later that same day and we just downloaded them. In conclusion, if you're looking for a great way to spend a few hours or more, I would highly recommend this company. So easy to get to, super friendly people, and amazing scenery. Emil was kind, patient, and made our experience SO much fun. All the equipment was clean and sanitized making us feel safe during this crazy time. Emil was well prepared and knew exactly what he was doing to make us feel safe while still having fun. The weather is beautiful in San Diego right now and the trail where we rode was stunning. We got to see mountains and green hills like we were in the Midwest! The San Diego location has a bathroom and we felt safe leaving our car while riding. Things you should know before booking: 1. The pictures you see for Angeles National Forest are not what you see on your tide. Basically ride around their dirt parking lot. 2. My family decided to make 8 reservations with this company for my sister's birthday. First off, we got lost because the directions are only found on a youtube video and the directions from my GPS took us to the wrong place (for reals, try it). Well we ended up getting there 20mins early and we got our helmets and gloves on. Well we met our guide, Natalia, and that's where everything turned for the worst. Me being excited I told her I like to ride fast, who knew that would be the thing that triggered her. From that point on she used me as an example of how my family can get hurt, several times. I definitely felt disrespected and insulated. We finally got on the ATVs and we stopped about every 5 minutes so she can make very small adjustments to our party, oh and don't smile while she is explaining anything because she won't like that (she told my niece to stop smiling because she didn't feel she was taking her serious). At the end of the day we cut the tour off short because we got tired of Natalia threatening us to have is walk back from the trail. I will never book a tour with them again. check the negative reviews and most of the people complain of the same issue but "Enjoy the Mountain" staff chooses not to take responsibility. Our guide stopped to check in and when we wanted to go a bit faster she listened and took us on a great ride. We got really comfortable towards the end and had a great time. Booked a group session for my birthday in hopes to have an exciting and fun day off roading. Worst decision ever. You are better off renting your own ATV's and going solo on a trail. The most exciting part of this trip was finding the location site. You will go faster on a golf course in a golf cart. The whole experience was a bore and totally not worth the $$$ per hour. If you are looking for fun.. don't book here. If you are looking for a slow ride to enjoy the view of the hills .. have at it. read more
