    Biscuits and Gravy special

The most authentic diner I've ever been to. Full of locals, truckers and farmers. Super sweet waitress, the food smells amazing as you walk in. I got the biscuits and gravy special, a very unusual order for myself, by loved it! We also got the Trucker Special- two pancakes, two eggs, hash browns and sausage. All delicious!

This restaurant was recommended by the barmaid at the bar in Pony (there's only one bar in Pony). For a small town diner, I loved this place. The front part of the restaurant consists of an old-style counter with old-style barstools. The back part consists of tables in a 1950's retro theme. It's small, but cozy. The waitress was very friendly. My salad was fine, but my B.L.T. was fantastic. If you need lunch on the way to Yellowstone (or Pony) from the Whitehall/Three Forks area, this is a great stop

Great hometown diner. Waitstaff extremely friendly and efficient. Reasonable prices. Will visit again.

Excellent home town diner, delicious food, I had the biscuits and gravy. Lots of sausage in the gravy, definitely get your money's worth. If you're traveling between Ennis and Helena or Three Forks, it is a must stop for a good home made breakfast or lunch! The staff is awesome, never have an empty glass and you're greeted with a smile.

What a fabulous place a true, classic road diner with ham and eggs, peach pie, and great service. You need to stop here for sure.

Love all the humorous signage around the restaurant, free WiFi, colorful decor, "Tell Us Where You…read moreAre From" maps on the walls. Enjoyed seeing a parent show her children the places on the map they've visited. Shane, our server, also seemed largely responsible for the bar area as well as being one of the servers. Clearly, individuals who appeared to be "regulars" have lively and fun conversations with Shane. It was fun overhearing snippets of their conversations while we ate. Glad the conversations around us were so interesting, because it did take longer than expected for our meals to be served. I am so glad I followed Shane's suggestion that the chicken fried steak was their most popular item. It was, in fact, very good. Love that even the biscuit underneath the steak and sausage gravy was very tasty. The hash browns were delicious Maggie's corned beef hash was very disappointing, made worse by this being our only meal til we reach our next destination tonight. Overall, we loved the ambiance, Shane served us well and we loved seeing the diverse clientele interact with the staff and each other - even the cook came out to greet customers at the bar with high fives all around.

I think it was an hour from being seated to actually getting our food. Fairly expensive for breakfast. I believe the french toast was $18 and an additional $5 for Fruit topping. Advertised as 6 pieces, it came with only 5 but was still a very large portion Coffee was served in huge mugs, which everyone enjoyed. Meals were okay. Those that got the corned beef hash felt that it was overdone.

The inside is chalked full of trout, moose, bear paraphernalia and it really gives you the western vibe that the name suggests. Better yet, the food is fantastic! Although French toast is my favorite food and the bobcat style is amazing, it wasn't my absolute favorite. I do love the savory menu items I've tried and the portions are very generous. They provide a carafe of water on the table, which was good given the service. Service was a bit spotty and kind of slow. We didn't see our server much and the food was pretty slow to come out. However, they were extremely busy, so I can forgive it a bit. The menu was interesting and the food was pretty good when we got it. I will say there were hits and misses though. The hummus and sourdough pita was excellent. Fried delicata squash was so good, I made a roasted version for Thanksgiving. My husbands burger was excellent but the house made ketchup was borderline disgusting. It was cold, unflavored tomato sauce. Not so good. I got steak with pasta and my pasta was severely undercooked. I would have said something but our server was pretty unavailable. We didn't want to stay for dessert and I'm glad we didn't because the check took forever to get to us.
