Please never hire enoteca in crescent city for any catering event, we prepaid for them to serve food and later put up a taco bar. Not only did they bring less than half of the food they were supposed to bring, they didn't serve it and they never set up the taco bar. We had a baked potato bar as part of the dinner and all they did was bring baked potatoes and set them on the table with the rest of the food (which most of it was not very good) very unprofessional to be paid to serve a load of food and only bring a fraction, Put it on the table and leave. read more

We checked this place out for a lunch stop while we were on the road because it had great reviews, and it did not disappoint! Dive bar look, with killer food. Took a long time for waitress to come take our orders even though there were 6 people standing behind bar / register and as far as I could see, there was only 7 customers, including myself and my husband. When I walked in the wait staff wasn't wearing a mask. I was equally disappointed in the quality of food. The onion rings tasted like they were reheated from the day before. The chicken Caesar salad wasn't tossed and the chicken was chopped up chicken meat. Not a whole chicken breast pan fried. Dressing was way to thick. My husband had the ultimate roast beef. This place just surprises me in all aspects. First off, the beer selection is Amazing and so reasonably priced. The menu and the offerings hands down some of the best food we've tried. I'd recommend the minestrone soup. The grilled shrimp, zesty turkey bacon and the meatloaf... You can't go wrong. This place has really gone down hill. I ordered a cheeseburger that was undercooked. Waitress brought me room temperature water with no ice. The service was sub par. You can tell nobody gave a damn and that they looked down on the clients like we don't matter. I guess I could look for an excuse in most situations, but the owner / manager was right there. This tells me that the issues are systemic where a callous owner doesn't care anymore. The workers pick up on this and so they have no reason to care. If the owner doesn't care. then why should I? Wow super impressed with this small town cafe! What a little gem along the coast. Very friendly people and a cute atmosphere. Lots of fresh food to be found with great vegetarian options. Ordered the quesadilla and a veggie wrap. Quesadilla was good and not traditional. Feta cheese, spinach and sun-dried tomatoes was yum. Wrap was flavorful and fresh. We were very pleasantly surprised at the great, friendly service and the food was amazing. Beers were good and although unnecessary, the owner bought us a round because she felt our orders were taking too long. We had three burgers which everyone agreed were outstanding and I had Darryls famous secret family recipe meat loaf in a Rhinestone Cowboy sandwich. This bar is amazing, I recommend it to anyone that isn't a little bitch about wearing a mask. Everyone is in this bar to have a good time, not to be tied down by stupid rules. A Very rude unprofessional & prejudice bartender female she served my boyfriend a beer collected $$ he was two gulps done with the corona she then proceeded to card him. He was in the process of ordering another beverage they assumed he set off a firecracker which was not my boyfriend it was the Caucasian male to my boyfriends side the security guard Forcefully grabbed his arm & thumb pulled it behind my boyfriends back he had no idea what was going on they accused the wrong male person of setting of the firecracker. We stopped by for lunch. My husband got the taco special and he said it was really good. I got the daily special of French dip. I know that French dip can be risky, but since it was the special I hoped it would be good. It was meh. I think it was made from deli meat. If you are visiting the Redwood National Park and state parks, make sure you stop off for lunch in nearby Crescent City. We ate at a fantastic restaurant in this small city on the coast, called Enoteca Wine Bar and Cafe. For lunch my wife and I had the chicken pesto roll, along with the tomato basil soup. The sandwich was outstanding! They also had a large selection of craft beer from the region. We highly recommend this restaurant. The service was quick and polite too.
