    Crab roll and eel roll
    Michelle M.

We stopped at Boat House since we wanted to have sushi. The space is big and has a great view of the marina. We ordered the seaweed salad, along with the Boat House roll, a crab roll, and eel roll. The rolls were good, although the crab in the crab roll was dry. The service was quick and our server gave the bare minimum in regards to service. If Yelp allowed for half stars, this would be a 3.5. This place does offer burgers, I believe they had a small menu for Chinese food and they do serve seafood as well. The do have a great lunch specials on rolls if you get there during that time.

This place has the best view in a town where views tend to be under appreciated. However, on the inside, it's a bit like a Chinese Restaurant from 1977 with an attached lively lounge. The later takes away the idea of a romantic dinner. Service is quick service and the gal was nice. The food. Well, let me begin by saying that this place tries to please everyone. There is sushi, chinese food, american seafood, seafood boils and a hamburger. So, they try to hard to please everyone. The sushi was a solid b. The Tuna Dumpling was the star. Other things were not as inspired

Every time I visit my dad in town this is my go to place because it's right down the street. The restaurant sits near the beach close to where the boats dock, majority of the seats at the restaurant you're placed by the window to see the ocean. My kid and I just drove up this past weekend to visit his grandpa and we ate here while he was at work. My kid ordered himself shrimp tempura, a CA roll, and 1lb of crawfish (growing boy) and I ended up ordering the Sashimi for one. Came with Tuna, Salmon, Mackerel, and Fatty White Tuna. I'd skip out on the tuna, just a little too frozen for me. Everything was okay, and my kid ended up eating my sashimi too. Our server was fast and very efficient. I'm always going to come back whenever I'm in town, they also serve burgers and other options besides sushi!

Delicious food with nice staff. The spicy combo rolls had crunchy tempura flakes rolled into them.

All the food here was so delicious! We ordered the pork gyoza, miso soup, coco roll, lobster salad roll, and cooked salmon roll. The servers were super nice! Would definitely visit again when in the area!

Doesn't look like much from the outside but I promise you the food is exceptional! Sat in the lounge and our bartender Jen was just a hoot and a delight! ASK FOR HER SPECIAL MADE SAUCE for the edamame. It's so good. Wonderful spot. I just had a small plate of sashimi. Great portions. Great taste. Would always come back when I'm in town!!

Everything was fine, but just not great. Prices on the higher side and portions were on the smaller side. Decent views from the second floor dining room. Our server didn't seem like he wanted to be there (although another waitress helping other tables seemed very friendly and great). Overall, just a little disappointing.

This place is great. The food is amazing, service is good and everyone is helpful. The ambiance is laid back, but pretty busy since it's a sushi restaurant of corse. My kids and I come to Crescent city twice a year and both times I got the same server which she has always been very friendly

Got seated pretty quickly, the layout of the restaurant is simple and clean with a really nice view of the ocean and trees. Nothing fancy but still nice and organized. They have a variety of items on the menu. The lady that attended us, waitress I suppose, was polite but definitely was the kind of vibe where I had to make eye contact to get her to come to the table. They had lunch special which was nice. 2 rolls for $17 but they're simple hand rolls and bento box specials varies in price but about $18. We ordered the bao buns, it was my first time trying them and they were delicious as an appetizer. 8/10 Salmon avocado roll 5/10 Nothing special literally just salmon and avocado, definitely need some sauce to dip it in for some more flavor Tempura Sweet potato roll 8/10 Sweet and savory, my favorite out of the two Bento box with chicken teriyaki 7/10 Serving size was on the smaller side but other than that everything was pretty good nothing too special Overall, if you need somewhere to eat at with decent food this is the spot and you can't beat a nice view too. With 2 fountain drunks, an appetizer, 2 rolls and 2 bento boxes everything came out to $80

    Volcano Roll and Spider Roll

The sushi was divine. Customer service was great. Upstairs dining with views of the harbor. 10/10 We will definitely be back. Kid friendly.

My wife ordered the Agedashi Tofu & Pork Gyozas and I had a couple of rolls, the spicy Rouge and a plain Jane salmon, avocado and cucumber roll. Everything was fantastic. The fish was super fresh, the tofu cooked perfectly and the gyoza sauce tangy and yummy. We only had a couple of small issues, more personal preferences really. 1 - my wife enjoyed the tofu, but the dish is described as having an agedashi broth but really it was more of a thicker style sauce smeared on the plate the tofu was placed on. It didn't really have a true broth. 2 - the habanero marmalade was not spicy. The roll was described as a spicy roll, but the marmalade was sweet. Unfortunately, the jalapeños were sweet as well. I know they can't control capsaicin in peppers, but that marmalade needs way more habanero. It would be WONDRFUL on toast though! Note: looking at their menu now they have updated this roll to replace the marmalade with a "tangy sesame". I look forward to trying this to see the difference. If you want a wonderful coastal option that isn't fish & chips, give Pacific Sushi a try.

He enjoyed the Redwood and Rogue rolls. Next time I *won't* order the Nature Nugget roll (which is listed with different ingredients on their website than their in-restaurant menu). It tasted like Lysol, presumably from the citrus ponzu? That was a tough swallow. I'd still return for that tofu, though. We were seated right away, arriving around 8pm on a Saturday night, with several other guests already seated. The lighting was low and decor was pleasing for a small town coastal sushi joint. The tomodachi was on point and our waitress was attentive and pleasant!

He said his grandmother owned a restaurant here or close by that was wiped out by the 1964 tsunami. My late lunch experience was delightful. I was greeted by the front counter staff. They handed me a menu. A sign of a good restaurant is difficult decision making. It took me a little while to decide on the shrimp salad. I asked for outside dining if possible. Just order to go and then I had my choice of picnic tables around the restaurant. I chose the south side so I could watch the surfers. While waiting the 10 minutes for my food buzzer to go off, I took pictures of the barking harbor seals, the restaurant and the beach activity. It was a sunny day. The food was to die for. A bit on the pricey side but that is to be expected for this location. No problem paying.

We ordered fried oysters , fish and chips, seafood pasta, and calamari. Soup and coleslaw were our sides. Chowder was lacking flavor and watery, definitely not worth ordering. Oysters were disgusting, they had a fishy mushy taste and you could tell they were NOT fresh catch despite being a harbor front restaurant. The fries were average, no comment. Seafood pasta was of poor quality also. The crab was overcooked and stringy/ chewy. Linguine noodles were bland also, very watered down and did not have the advertised beurre blanc sauce flavor. The asparagus accompany was also only 3 sticks and wasn't even grilled properly, an insult for a $40 pasta. Servers were also inattentive and had to be flagged down for requests. Overall, SKIP this place. Overpriced tourist trap with lackluster food, not worth the wait at all.
