We have been getting food here for 15 years I guess. Unfortunately it has been a steady decline. No matter what we order, it just does not taste good. Seems like they have changed how they make the food or who is making it. Very little flavor now. Just got sick from what we ordered last weekend. Italian coldcut used to have much more flavor, not sure what they changed but it has become bland. Wings are hit and miss, usually miss. I stopped ordering wings due to the fact that they have become inedible,(overcooked/dried up. I hate to complain, it has taken years to say something but, they need to change or close up shop. You're always amazed when you go to margarita, we frequent the one in Kingsville. This past weekend I got lasagna and my son got eggplant Parmesan. Can I tell you they were out of this world? I cannot understand why there are so many good reviews about this place. This was by far the worst carryout I have ever had. I first tried ordering through Uber Eats a couple weeks ago, I saw the driver arrive at the restaurant, and wait, and wait, and wait. 30 minutes of waiting, my order is canceled. I can only imagine that there was either a mistake or and argument and neither Margherita's or the driver cared to fix the mess up. This time, I ordered 2 pizzas, one pepperoni and one pepperoni and mushroom, along with an Italian cold cut. First of all, the pizza was completely flavorless. It was very greasy, which I like, but this was completely flavorless grease, like they used very low quality cheese. Second, the pizzas were not fully cooked. The crust was NOT thin crispy New York style as they advertise it, Thin, yes, but doughy. We re-cooked it ourselves to finish it then still had to add salt, garlic and oregano just to make it edible. The cold cut was the absolute worst! It was meat, cheese and onion. It was almost as if they started to put the sub together and didn't finish. I don't know how in any world that would be considered an Italian cold cut. And it was slightly warm, like they heated it up after they put it together. Never again. Unfortunately there are not many places to eat in Kingsville, but it is very much worth avoiding this place and go further to Fallston or Perry Hall. UPDATE - I have food poisoning from this nasty place. Stay far away. read more

First time here, they are located close to my daughter's soccer practice field. The pizza alone is a little more expensive than other places, but it was really good. New York style with the thinner crust and spices. I got one of their specials which was a large one topping pizza, 6 wings and a 2 liter for $21. I will definitely be ordering this again in the future. My only complaint would be that I ordered at 7:15 and was told it would be 15-20 minutes. Got there at 7:45 and it still wasn't ready. They offered to bring it out to my car so I wouldn't have to wait inside and it came out at 7:55. Had I known it would be so long, I would have ordered a lot sooner. read more

Nice, family run place. However, they overwork their pizza dough and more often than not it is tough as shoe leather. Have had some good dough from them but now it seems it is always very thin, tough, vegetable toppings are watery. Looking elsewhere for good pizza. read more

I've been to Margherita twice over the past few weeks. Both times we got cheese and pepperoni pizza. They have traditional NY style pizza. The pizza did not disappoint, just how I like it. Great thin crust, sauce and cheese were proportional. Definitely recommend for pizza. I also got a cheesesteak and wings. Cheesesteak was just okay, wings were good. They taste like they are breaded fried and then tossed in sauce. We got barbecue which tasted more like a mambo sauce but we're still good and they come with salad dressing packets....not the best. I'll definitely be ordering pizza again and trying some other varieties but will probably pass on the subs based on the cheesesteak. Had about 70 minutes between soccers games at a nearby field. I stopped in with my kids for lunch. We all had pizza and the food was excellent. They had seven or eight different options for pizza alone. There appeared to be only one woman behind the counter, but she was very courteous and incredibly efficient. She kept the line moving and got everybody their food quicker than I anticipated. The drink options are a little limited, bottles and cans in the refrigerated section. Hubby and I finally got the chance to check this place out yesterday and we're kicking ourselves that we haven't been sooner. We stopped in around 1:30 to grab some subs to go and I was greeted by the nicest young man at the register. The menu is huge but I had my heart set on a pizza steak sub and hubby wanted an Italian coldcut and I also got a drink and some chips. I love that they pack the subs in styrofoam containers but with as large as they were, overflowing with meats and toppings I imagine they have to do that and I also liked that the bags for the to go orders had handles - it's the little things that I notice and truly appreciate so bonus points for that Margherita. I consider myself to be a Pizza Steak aficionado and theirs was the best I have ever had, the steak was seasoned perfectly and the fresh tomato sauce and gooey cheese were so yummy. Hubby loved his coldcut as well, he usually saves half for lunch the next day but said it was so good he couldn't help but finish it. I saved half of my sub for today's lunch and it was just as good as when I ate if freshly made. We will definitely be back to try their pasta specials and pizzas. read more

We ordered from you last night, the food, was great and was just as we ordered. What I struggled with, is how, during this pandemic, you are the only place that made me sign my receipt at the door. Every other place is taking the credit card and the driver rings the bell and once you come to the door they place your order on the steps or porch. You cannot order wrong at Margherita's- everything is amazing! The food is impeccable as if you are in your long lost Nonna's kitchen in Puglia. The chef uses fresh ingredients and they are skilled in bringing out the flavors of the food. The pizza is New York style (not overly doughy and soft like Dominos or Papa Johns) and it is cooked perfectly in a pizza oven. This style is hard to find in the county or the city. The pasta dish sauces shine with fresh herbs, springy seafood, and savory meats. They cook their pasta perfectly (not too al dente and not mushy). They serve their pasta with fresh-made bread- just dreamy! Margherita's appetizers are so heavenly (Shrimp Gondola, Mozzarella Caprese, and calamari). This place use to be OK but in recent months it has escalated to something out of character. The quantity of food has decreased by half of more. Specifically the crab in the cream of crab has become invisible, the number of onion rings in an order has decreased by half in 2 days, they even try to cheat you by holding back blue cheese with the wing orders. When I say something they argue back making me nauseated so that I don't enjoy my food. I am so done with this place. Yesterday, my husband and I had a lunch date at Margharita's Pizza at the recommendation of his co-worker who also suggested that we try the spaghetti pizza. We were not disappointed! Neither of us had tried spaghetti pizza before so we had nothing to compare it to but I could see it quickly becoming my favorite! The marinara that was served on the side was also wonderful.
