When I picked up my vehicle, there were several issues. There was a scratch on one of the rear panels, I found a bag of McDonalds in the back and my floor mats were dirty. When I inquired about the technician that was working on my vehicle, I found out that the gentleman was neither certified or experienced with Mercedes-Benz. I went on youtube and sent Ramses the video describing it was the ignition switch rather than the starter motor. I said to him 'are you 100% sure it's only the starter motor'? His response was'yes'. Then he had my vehicle towed to Hyndai in Colma and they verified it was indeed the ignition switch. I never was billed for the starter motor Ramses installed, nor the towing that he paid for. I never heard back from him regarding his incorrect diagnosis.

Yeah, they do pull some gray business to save you money on insurance claims and they actually saved me about $1000 doing it. That said, the only two insurance companies they will work with to save you money on that level are USAA and Farmer's - because they pay up without trying to haggle on the back end. After rear-ending a very bad driver with my Saab in June of 2009, the aforementioned tow truck driver ran me down to Major Auto Body and I can tell you when I read these reviews I flipped the F out and micro-managed the crap out of the whole process. That proved to be wholly unnecessary. Joe over at Major took great care of my Saab. I got two new tires (my choice of brand), a new compressor, and a new front end for dramatically less than I expected to pay elsewhere. I have since recommended two friends to Major Auto Body and am bringing a third one down in about an hour to have her scraped door fixed for $300-$400 less than the "other guys" are quoting her around town. Oh and Yelp - if this positive review disappears, I'm taking screenshots. Please leave it in place.

Truck runs and looks like it was brand new. As far as customer service goes- Great job guys and thanks for the friendly/great service... Not sure why there are any bad reviews for this auto body shop... These guys made me feel like family and took great care of me. I honestly had the worst experience here . I was recommended by someone and they mentioned I can do…read morea payment plan so I said hey why not . Drop my car off he breaks my wheel bearing then charges me for it . Comes up with crazy prices $950 for breaks and rotors and the wheel bearing he broke. I've have 10 Diff cars never have I paid that much for breaks and rotors . To me that's outrageous then he said $850 so you really are just making up prices . I begged him not to leave my car over night and to fix the wheel bearing and we will worry about breaks tomorrow. Nope so I had to leave my car in Richmond over night . The next day comes and hours go by I finally get my car he only ends up doing the back . He tells me my car is shaking bad bc of my bad tires . Well 2 days ago before I brought my car my car was driving smooth as a babies bottom. Literally no issues . Get it back and it's a lil bumpy but I get 5 min from my job and it's unbearable. Shaking so bad I had to pull over in an unsafe location on Hwy4 . I get out and my front driver side lug nuts are completely loose . He sends two men out 30+ min later (at this point my job calls me off) they get there and they tighten them but I can tell something was still wrong , I'm still in a unsafe location so I don't look. Then I get back on road and my engine light comes on. Mind you my car was in perfect condition before brining here . I called him and sent pics of my engine he refused to look at it after I told him I did not want to leave my car there overnight. So anyway then a day or 2 later it's back shaking bad, I get out and look and my whole front driver side lug nut is missing broke in half . So when I had the concern something was wrong when the two guys came to fix my tire I was right, they broke my lug nut and did not say anything to me about it. Then I called him and he was trying to give me the hardest time about it when he was the only person working on my car and he already stripped my first lug not on my back passenger tire . To say the least I'm glad he did the payment arrangement because I will never be going back and he will not be getting a full payment from me . I paid $200 and with the work I received and the amount of backlash I got for his shi* work . I think we are even . Plus I'm not paying $150 for a wheel bearing you broke. Kumar was very helpful and very respectful when I arrived, he did not rush me and gave me the time I needed to look at the cars. He also let me test drive it by myself which I thought was pretty cool. The prices and taxes were a little high but I picked a very nice and reliable car. I love my new car and it runs great. This dealership gives warranties on all of his cars and takes value at making sure your car is well taken care of. If there is any issues , he takes responsibility and fixes whatever needs to be fixed. I Definitely recommend this dealership!

Drove to their offices with the battery and when I asked for my old battery back. The man that works there said there's 200 batteries back there and he's not gonna go through them for me.
