From start to finish and after installation, she is responsive. She found us a remnant quartz slab in their yard that we liked and was cut and installed in 2 weeks! Her brother Ozzie came to the house to template and she and her dad came to install. How insanely efficient is that? They knew we were over our timeline so squeezed us in on a Saturday. They were also the most reasonable estimate I could find and also provided a beautiful product and perfect installation. We picked a difficult stone to fabricate - quartzite - but they did an excellent job of polishing and hiding the imperfections that typically come with natural stones. They minimized the number of seams and placed them strategically so they're hardly noticeable. Aside from selecting a challenging stone material, we had a couple of corners with uneven edges - yet the fabrication was perfect! We really appreciate the skill that went into this! After dealing with so many incompetent, overpriced and dishonest contractors during the disastrous kitchen renovation we undertook last year, we were overjoyed to finally find a company with experience and craftmanship. First let me say I have been looking for a granite company for almost a year and I also initially considered Starlight Marble, so after considering many companies we decided to go with Starlight. I don't have many good things to say about the many contractors, plumbers, air conditioning companies we have used over the past 18 months ( what a nightmare). My wife keeps staring at our new beautiful kitchen countertops and refuses to let me cover it up with my 'stuff'. I'd show pictures of the work of art, and it truly is a work of art, but my wife chose a black titanium stone and to realize the beauty it needs to be seen in person, my poor cellphone camera shows too much glare. They came out to give me an estimate. I have a rule of getting three estimates on everything I do with respect to construction as there is the truth about the "Danville markup". I had already chosen three slabs from MSI International that I provided to Starlight, and the two other companies. Starlight quoted me 8200 for my slabs and 5900 for fabrication of the slabs. The other two companies quoted only 6000-6200 for the slabs and 3,500-4000 for fabrication. They marked up the cost of the exact same slabs over 2,000!!!! I saved almost 5,000 on my counters by shopping around. Do your homework and don't accept the markup. read more

What a fantastic company to work with! Choosing countertops was such a process and I had no idea what I really wanted. The team at starlight was patient and gave amazing guidance. When I chose a slab, I let them know and they called the store and took a look. What impressed me the most was that they called me and recommended that I NOT chose that slab. It had a few flaws that could damage it during fabrication, but more so, the coloring/veins of it would not look right in the design of the kitchen. They offered suggestions as to what would work with my kitchen design. It was in that moment that I knew I would be working with them. The fact that they took the time to call and discuss the slabs with another company, and then give me honest feedback on them told me that they care more about their craft than they do a check. I had not even signed a contract with them at this point. Once I did settle on a slab, they took care of everything and their fabrication and install was flawless.
