Honestly, they're super efficient with the little support they have. Manager just took over this location a month ago and is busting his butt to get it up and going again with the few employees he has due to 90 percent quitting. Im not sure how it works with this company specifically, but it's really unfortunate that corporate or whoever is above the manger isn't helping out more so that this location can be more efficient. I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for the company not supporting the employees and the manager. For the 2-4 employees that are there and the manager--they really do try their best to get you out in a rental in a decent amount of time. Just know there will be a bit of a wait but they are working as fast as they can to help everyone. Respect to the manger and employees especially with how hot it's been recently. read more

I would like to give this agency zero stars. I had made a reservation 2 1/2 weeks prior and on the day of pickup was told that no cars were available. The day before I had been called by a rep from this enterprise, confirming my pick up. Lesson learned: rent from an agency at the airport. New manager Worst customer experience ever! Dealing with manager John Davis was a nightmare. We rented a car for a weekend trip to Colorado, and upon return, they claimed there was hail damage on the roof that was only visible in certain lighting. When we inspected the car in broad daylight, no damage was detected. Now they're saying we're responsible for their oversight! When I questioned this and sought a resolution, John just asked about the insurance deductible and said they were pullinweg it without my consent, claiming it was money owed to them. He had a smug smile and brushed off my concerns with "I'm doing my job." I strongly advise everyone to avoid Enterprise in Rio Rancho and find an alternative car rental service. They will find damage on a car no matter what and try to hold you accountable. John even refused to give me his manager's contact information; I had to find it myself. Absolutely horrible service! Where do I start? I was a priority customer on a Thursday: got my car on a Monday. When I DID get my car, the first one they gave me had an expired tag (yellow plate) which I refused (and they gave to someone else). The next one I was offered--a 2021 Dodge Charger, that the employee said I'd love--had burned out taillights: didn't notice this during inspection when I got the car, but after I had driven to St. Louis for a family emergency and had almost been rear-ended by a semi in the rain in MO. Enterprise customer service was of no help on the road in St. Louis and didn't have anything to trade this with: customer service told me to go to the airport in St. Louis (which had nothing) and the airport told me to do to a smaller location (which also had nothing). I called the manager at this location (Yvette) but talked with one of the employees instead. Yvette never called me back. Ali (assistant manager) called me today to see how my experience was: when I called him back, whoever answered hung up the phone. The only reason I used them was because their satellite location was in Crash Champions and I had been approved for one while my personal vehicle was out after another bad experience with Enterprise 3-4 months prior. I would avoid this and any other Enterprise Car Rental location unless you don't mind being stranded in another city/state if something mechanical goes wrong and don't want to ever talk to an actual person anywhere. read more

I had a very good experience and is was seamless. I found the staff was very friendly and pleasant and professional. The car I rented was very clean and in great shape and had no problems. The gentleman who assisted me when I picked up the car took his time and looked over the car with me and and made sure all my questions were answered. Same experience when I dropped off the car the gentleman was very friendly and chatted with me while he looked at the car and noted the mileage and gas level. I had a rental for 3 months due to parts on back order at the dealership. I was very well taken care of thru the whole process, which, naturally, got complicated due to insurance and dealership communication. This is the worst car rental company I've ever used. I pre-paid my bill, and when I got to the counter at the agency, I had to talk to a remote receptionist at which time I was told that I had to take a 10 seat van! I was renting the car, for myself only. They told me they had no cars available. However, if I paid for an upgrade plus an upgrade fee I could get a car. This business practice is highly deceptive. I should've been able to receive a car without paying for an upgrade. It was their fault that there was no car available at my scheduled appointment time. Please beware if you see wild car on their website they can give you anything they want to or at least say they only have a certain type of vehicle which may not be what you want to force you to pay for an upgrade. I tried to contact them several times to receive a credit after paying for an upgrade for two days, very difficult to get through to their manager or customer service representatives. My insurance company reserved me a rental car after I was involved in a hit and run. Unfortunately, I was unable to pick it up when I needed to because I work before they open in closed. They worked with me so my parents could pick up the rental car. I had to call my insurance to make sure it was allowed and enterprise called to confirm. It was nice of them to work with me for that. But the worker I talked to told me, my parents could pick it up on the 13. All the would need is $50. When they went to pick it up, they had no car for me. What, the employee never told me was they need a copy or picture of my drivers license and that they had to pick it up at a certain time. Also the lady that helped my mother was not the nicest to them. I called and asked for the manager and told him what happened. They said the tried to call in left voice mails. Which I don't have. But I did call the day before to confirm the details, which I stated already. All he could say was that they had no cars and all had was just to go off the notes. No apology, nothing. Literally nothing to say. Then he said they tried to call the morning of the pick up. I have no missed calls and voicemail. It is very unprofessional. I was told what to do by an employee the day before who was also rude to me; for them just say we called the morning of and that's it. No notice nothing. I am very disappointed in the service at this location and lack of information. Now I have to either take a day off and lose money or inconvenience someone to let me borrow a vehicle. read more

I can not say enough about this location!!! They picked me up right on time. The driver, Greg, was courteous and very personable. When I got to the store, they had my paperwork ready and they let me choose the car I wanted. There arose a problem with that car, but they immediately put me into another car and expressed the worried for my safety. Marquis was very nice, very knowledgeable, and also very personable. Customer service needs work. Will not call again. My full complaint, submitted to Enterprise corporate, is below. I found this location by entering my zip code into the on-line location finder, and they were the first to pop-up. I called at 7:35 AM (they open at 7:30) on a Monday about a same day rental, because my car had to stay in the shop after being worked on all day Sunday. I was told that the staff would be busy until around noon, so 12:30 would be the earliest I could be picked up. I then asked if I need to make a reservation, and was told no, that the location had plenty of rentals, and to call back around 11:30 to make an appointment. I called back at 11:48 AM, and was told that there was no staff available until 3 or 3:30 PM. I explained about my morning call, but was told 3:00 PM was my earliest option. I made a reservation. I was called back at some time after 12, and told they might be able to pick me up at 2:30 PM. I was then told that the agent had asked around, and nobody told me to "just call back around 11:30," implying I had made up the facts of my earlier call. I was also told that they were doing me a favor, as I resided outside of their pick-up location. They had not shared this information at the time I made the reservation. The agent then argued with me a bit more and called me rude. I told him I would just call into work and see if someone could pick me up. He told me he didn't have time, and hung up. He then called back at 12:16 PM, a couple of minutes after hanging up, and asked if I was cancelling the reservation. I replied that I was, and he hung up again. I normally would brush it off as one rude guy, but Enterprise makes a big deal about their customer service. read more

We rented on line and paid for a standard car a week in advance - the day before we stopped by to check on a car and were by told numerous times by (b) that they may not have a car for us but was followed with she would try but that there were no guarantees - the day of we went early as our travel plans changed and we could have left at 1 not 4 - there were 20 cars in the parking lot (we took a photo) (b) did not get off her seat - told us they were all reserved - we doubted her comment but ????? My husband asked if she had our phone #; she said - you gave it to me yesterday. She talked down not just to us but to everyone - like I'm in charge here not you - No thank you for stopping by - we literally sat for hours at home waiting and hoping for a call which came at 3:30. as we were filling out the info (b) rec a call - we waited 5 min while she completed the conversation - back to paper work & another call came in and again she completely put us on 'hold' while she took care of someone's problem - again 7 min of waiting - The next day we were called asking about the car and experience - we told the gentlemen what happened - now to the FIVE star person (R) that sincerely greeted us and checked in (R) asked about our experience - my husband gave specifics - (R) sincerely apologized gave us a free upgrade and told us we were valued customers and please come back. (b) could use major training - had it not of been for (R) we would never return to that location. read more
