Was rear ended in a car crash and the company in the car the companies insurance was using enterprise so when I went to rent a car, they said I owe $235 from 2016 for a key fob that I never did because I had full coverage through their insurance on the car car was told I had to pay the $235 in order to rent a carpay the $235 called them back and said they told me I was on the permanent list number for Office. My husband reserved a car for a trip we were taking. He got there 15 minutes late and they had already given our rental car away! Fifteen minutes!!! They had no answers. We will NEVER use any Enterprise again. We have rented cars here for years. This is very bad customer services. Why reserve a car when you get there and there's not car to be rented. I travel for work about 50% of the time but have been recently grounded like most people due to the virus. When I do travel, I used Enterprise almost exclusively. Getting ready to get back on the road for a first time in a while, I made a reservation 3 weeks in advance for a car that I'd use to drive a coworker and me around for the duration of our visits. My flight gets in a bit late, so I'm about 90 mins late for the originally scheduled reservation. Guess that's the limit for Enterprise, it was too late for them to hold a car for a "preferred customer" so they gave it away and didn't have any cars in stock. No courtesy call to let ask me if I was still on my way or even to let me know I'd be stranded when I got there. Now my sales team and I will use a competitor, as I've let them know that Enterprise won't be reimbursed on their expense reports. One phone call would've gone a long way here. read more

Wow! I called here at 8 am for a rental (insurance uses Enterprise). Woman answered and I told her my situation, then she said she would call back since she was with a customer. 30 minutes later, no call. I call back and no answer. So, my husband drives me to their facility (and planned on dropping me off there to get a car so he could get to work on time). There was only 1 employee there, she was still helping a customer and then told me there were no rentals available until 4. I told her I wished she would have told me that over the phone and she proceeded to tell me that she didn't speak to me earlier. Hmmm. So much for Enterprise's tagline that they 'pick you up'. Called 2 others in the area that also did not have any cars available and didn't offer pick up. Would never use this company if I had a choice. read more

My rental was to be covered by the insurance company of the liable party. Everything was fine with this business until it came time to run my card. To my knowledge everything was covered by insurance until over a month after I returned the car. I received a voicemail in the morning saying my account needed to be closed by the end of business that day and there was $517.76 that National General Insurance didn't pay, as they had the incorrect "end date." for my rental car. I called and asked them to hold off charging my card until I could speak to someone from National General. I asked for 24 hours/by the end of the next business day. Needless to say, the next morning at 11:00am, they charged my card for the full amount without even letting me know. That seems like a pretty large sum to charge to someone's card without their knowledge first - I also never got an Emailed receipt. I was pretty disappointed to say the least. I would think they would give the customer the chance to reach the insurance adjuster to work things out before charging such a hefty amount. As if getting hit wasn't bad enough, their behavior made me feel like I was roughed up all over again. Hoping to not need to use their services again in the future and give a fair warning to all. read more

I received rental that was supposed to be covered under the at fault individual's insurance and it was, but even though I repeatedly expressed not wanting pay anything extra they put a damage waiver on the car. When we had left RDU Enterprise with what was supposed to be a nonsmoking vehicle, we became very disappointed when my Dad started wheezing due to residual smoke in the vehicle. We quickly stopped by the Apex Enterprise where Corey, the manager was very understanding and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our car by switching it out for a better nonsmokers car. I would give no stars but one is the minimum. I will never rent from this location again! Made a reservation for a minivan to move a kid (9 hours away) back to school. Unfortunately, I was not able to be present for the pick-up so I called and asked if my husband could in my absence. I was assured that it wouldn't be a problem. At that time, I confirmed the minivan and days for the rental. Come the day of pick-up no minivan was available. My husband was offered an SUV which was smaller than the one we own or a pick-up truck. Because it was a Sunday and they were leaving that night he had to take the truck. 9 hours of driving with the load shifting in the bed and barely making it before the rain made for a miserable move-in and damaged goods. When he returned the rental (a full day early) we were charged the same as the quote for three days. When I called to express my dismay, I worked with someone who owned the issues and was willing to make it right for us. Only to then receive a call from Talitha (the manager) who was not willing to refund to what had already been agreed on. She said the error was on us for being offered the truck/SUV. When asked why I would want to rent something smaller than what I already owned she couldn't answer. She should take some lessons in customer service from her employee instead! She didn't care for my attitude when I showed up to question all of this. I just spoke to her in the same demeaning way that she spoke to me on the phone. Only difference was she didn't expect me to show up! Needless to say, I cancelled the upcoming reservation and will go with another company instead moving forward. read more

Your confirmation means nothing!!! I made a reservation over a month ago for a large SUV. I received immediate confirmation of the reservation. In fact, I received a total of three confirmations over the ensuing month. On the day I am supposed to pick up the vehicle, I am told there are none available. "They're in high demand around the holidays ". No kidding....that's why I reserved it a month ago! I guess someone else is paying a higher rate due to the demand, so they'll ignore mine. This location is poorly staffed and you may wait on hold for as much as half an hour on the phone. Furthermore, I left some extra keys on the rental car ring and no one ever bothered to reach out to me. Hi there, I was living at Apex since 2000, and the place where I rent cars is this location at the point that the precedent managers know me. However, the last new year for 3 days they charged me with 350 $ for a Nissan vehicle, and they call me again for other charges like gas that I pay for 27 boxes before. I would give a negative if I could...Sunday April 14 2019 I had a reservation to pick up at 1300. I phoned that I would be late. At 1515 I arrived and was told by "Zina" that it would be 15 minutes wait since cars were being washed. At 1550 I was then told I was pushed behind 2 men who arrived after me, since I was past my sked time. Also that there were no cars on site and none expected. Chris, the manager, had no clue how to handle the situation, he only stated "I understand, but we have no cars." Zina, the other employee, made derogatory faces at me as I attempted to mitigate the situation and get the manager to take action. I am a military member and was treated as if I was a second class citizen, with your employees making faces at me as I spoke and the manager just standing around, not attempting to take corrective action. I plan on alerting my colleagues to my treatment at Enterprise and will urge them to avoid this chain. read more

I rented a car last Saturday. Due to some bad weather near Fayetteville, the office was very busy with customers and phone inquiries. I must say that Jennie Dagostino really kept her cool between manning the phone, the desk and dealing with a very unpleasant customer. Her smile and professionalism never faltered. I would give it zero stars if I could. I had the worst experience here that I have ever had with any establishment in my lifetime. I called ahead to make sure my van was ready. The person who answered the phone assured me that it was so I drove there to get it. Upon arrival, they said that it wasn't ready. They had to go get one. When I told about phoning ahead to make sure it was ready, they called me a liar. They repeatedly said no one had called. I showed my phone call history, and they changed their excuse. Now they said that I didn't call them back to confirm the reservation a day before the pick up date. I told them that I had received a voice message, but that the message only told me to call if I had any questions. Once again, they called me a lair. Fortunately, I hadn't erased the message, so I played it back for them. Proven wrong again, now the manager just got tired of dealing with me, once again said that they assumed that I was going to be a no show, that I had not spoken with anyone in the store, and that they weren't going to rent to me. Fortunately, someone from the back (I guess he cleans the cars_ came up front to drop off the keys. I recognized his voice and said that is who I talked to. He admitted he talked to me and identified the van he was referring to. With a very, very pissed look in his eyes, the manager gave me the van that was sitting there the whole time but never apologized. I would have just gone elsewhere, but it was right before Christmas and I was afraid that I couldn't find another van. To be twice accused of being a liar, to be told they didn't have a van when they did, then receive no apology when absolutely everything I said was proven true beyond any doubt is just too much. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. There are many alternatives in the area. Even a different Enterprise - there are a couple of good ones in Cary. read more

Our son plays AAU basketball, and they have always been accommodating for our travels up and down the road. this past time we had issues with our car and Matt at the Williams Street location along with the other employees were fantastic. Do not recommend this place! Three very young sarcastic and condescending workers - totally rude when I had some (completely understandable) questions after I found out that my son @ age 22 could not rent a car without me being involved. A person named Seth Wright was rude and interrupted me and almost seem to be scolding me when I wanted more info about the process. The young girl (named either Paige or Kristen?) talked down to me like I was an idiot and was really pushing the "extra insurance" spiel even after I made clear I was not interested. I then asked to speak with the manager and an (also very young) man who did not give his name was almost as unprofessional and was not at all sincere in his response to my concerns. I decided at this point that they were so rude that I was not going to give them my business. The manager goes back from the outside where we were into the office and starts "throwing me under the bus" with the other two in front of other customers! When I asked for confirmation that charges would not show up on my Amex card (that they insisted on taking) this manager tells me he has nothing in writing to confirm this because "nothing had been done yet" or some such. There better not be any charges on that account! Completely unprofessional all around - their mothers should be ashamed of the way these three young whippersnappers treat their elders and customers of a business somebody owns!
